girls good news so the rude girl on the emails about my ysl lou lou online selfridges situation has come to an end. After multiple calls and 2 weeks waiting they spoke to a brand specialist who confirmed the bag was faulty, you guys helping me which i appreciate seemed to speed the process up i said all my consumer rights and how the bag didnt comply and the issued a refund. thanks so much for your help girls now im putting that money into a chanel

After searching for ages for a mini with champagne hardware, I scored this mini at the airport in Dubai!! I’m so happy

They had a mini coco handle too which I was so close to going for, but ultimately settled on the lambskin mini flap

Ladies - I’ve ordered my WOC

so impressed with Chanel at Harrods. Rang them yesterday to see if they had the camellia pattern WOC, said someone would email me. Which they did this afternoon. I sent them pics of the bag I wanted and within minutes they had sent me pictures of 3 different colours that they had in stock! I wasn’t even sure it was currently available, so I was sooo happy. Anyway, it’ll be here sometime next week. Amazing service!

update on the coach bag - they cancelled the order as they didn't have enough stock to fulfil it - tbh i was really gutted as i loved the chalk colour and had planned to wear as a summer and winter neutral. i ordered the same bag from fashionette online but in the saddle brown and it arrived today! really great shipping in my experience - no customs from germany and super well protected with wrapping etc. attached some pics as i'm in love with it!

I picked up my new mini today! Harrods was horrendous and by 12pm they had closed the queue for new customers. Thankfully the manager let me queue jump as my items were reserved ahead of the launch. The dark beige coco handle is beautiful! if any of you are thinking of going this week, I recommend getting there for 11 or even before the store opens as it’s a bit manic! X

Guys I have the classic wallet on chain waiting for me when I get home from work. My amazing fiance went to Chanel in Manchester for my card holder for my birthday, colour unknown but it's pink or black I let him decide. Sent him a screenshot of the wallet to ask if they have it and they did so he got it for me (paid for with my own money, I'm spoilt but not that spoilt ). He said he had about a 2 hour wait to get in the shop but he expected that. I'm a bit gutted I didn't get the experience but I'm sure I can find something to go back for another time...

Miss Mint Mini came out with me today... I know this probably isn’t the place to share but I went out on my own for the first time in months and I found it really daunting. During the pandemic, we’ve always been out as a family as of course we were restricted in what we were allowed to do/where we could go. A simple thing such as driving on the motorway on my own felt really alien and at times quite overwhelming today... I’ve never been a nervous driver so it was a very weird feeling! Has anybody else felt this way?

Selfridges in Manchester was very quiet and the Chanel wait was approx 1hr.
Has anybody put their name down for anything in the new collection?

Currently pregnant and have been on the hunt for a good changing/mum bag. Wanted a backpack rather than a shoulder bag. Decided to treat myself to this bargain at Bicester today. It was £655, think it’s around £950 in selfridges! So happy with it!

Girls just an update on my YSL toy lou lou selfridges bag drama, they emailed me on friday saying how they refuse a refund because it has scratches and isnt in 'saleable' condition, and i replied basically saying exactly how are you sending me a bag thats faulty and in that condition thats how it came to me and very upset blah blah and then they havent replied to the email at all. then i rang yesterday asking for an update and the customer service said i will recieve a call by the end of the day by the claims representative or something to discuss recieved no call i rang again today and they said the same thing. honestly im just so upset i have been a customer there for 5 years online and much longer in store and they have the audacity to treat me like this what can i do girls

I just quickly wanted to post this as we were talking about not judging someone when they go into luxury stores and how SA’s tend look down on women who aren’t well dressed/don’t seem rich.

I shop in Primark and Cartier they do very comfy PJ’s! Which is just what I needed since I forgot mine

I bought a JUC ring I tried on some bracelets, the love ring with diamonds, but ultimately settled on the ring! And a pair of Sophia Webster’s haha. My sister bought a Louis Vuitton pouch (copying me lol) and a fendi ring too, I’ll ask her to let me take some pics

Hi ladies! I'm new to this forum but have been reading the thread for the past couple of weeks, drooling over all your purchases from here in Australia I'm so happy to have found a thread of other like-kinded women, we can support each others' purchases without judgement! Sometimes i don't want to bring it up with my friends because it can be awkward, like "you're going to spend that much money on a bag?!" You know what I mean?!
My first designer bag was a beautiful tobacco Coach 31 Edie shoulder bag. My husband bought it for me and I still love it! I bought a LV GM Neverfull for my baby bag - I figured with 2 babies under 2 years old, I deserved something fabulous!
I then bought myself a stunning vintage Chanel calfskin wallet that I'm obsessed with and it has just sparked a deep desire in me for all things Chanel.... I just opened a savings account so I can reach my goal of buying my first Chanel bag new.
As others have mentioned before, I do feel a slight feeling of intimidation because I don't know how purchasing new from Chanel even works! You girls talk about making appts and having Sales Girls, do you think that's a UK thing or is it a Chanel thing?! Can I just walk in and buy what I want or do I need to pre-order it, make an appt, know someone in the store... how does it work?! Would love help from all you more experienced shoppers

This is always my attitude too, my money is as good as anyone else's and I wouldn't hesitate to complain or walk out if I didn't receive decent service. I don't expect anyone to kiss my ass but I do expect a bit of basic courtesy and wouldn't stand for being looked up and down. I was once in an expensive shop and the snooty sales assistant said 'the sale rail is over there' so I walked straight out.
