it was only a fleeting glance outside the lobby at SS, looking like they’d just arrived (cab/cases etc) but I recognised the face, she’s much slimmer in person than her already tiny frame - in the usual blazer leggings combo but definitely with a guy, for a second thought he was a resident, very tanned - could be that guy but he’d let his hair grow out, it was very aus beachy waves.
I do hope it’s not that guy though, his fb would suggest he has a girlfriend with a profile cover photo of him and a girl that ain’t Kate…

What has happened to Kate? She used to be sweet. A bit boring but I used her for outfit inspiration, she always looked nice and put together. Enter Yasmin and what the fuck?! I'm guessing it must all have been an act.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but what the hell is that River Island ad? Both pretending to eat food (so toxic, look at us we are so skinny but we eat loads of pizza and pasta bullshit) and just talking about themselves. How does this tie in to River Island in any way?! No mention of the clothes at all? I don't get the point of it, it just seems very self indulgent trying to make out like they are edgy bad girls, who can scoff pizza and behave badly (holiday romances, getting boys numbers, not vanilla at all) and in no way sells what they are supposed to be selling. Very low engagement too. Just bizarre.

My opinion is that Kate only use him to make a guy jealous, she Fall long time ago with this special guy, a person you will not meet a second time in Life in Love .

Its me , but I told her that drinking every day alcohol is unhealthy & taking Setraline everyday is the badest .
She also had many years a Story Highlight , where she „recommended“ to the young Teenys to take pills . She said for her it’s the best - but time is healer - not pills for Anxiety or Depressions .
Also she make money with promoting the fast fashion . Everyone can decide by their own how to make money - but it’s nowadays one of the biggest problem for the environment.

Many young girls look up to her, she show off a Life full of Happiness - only a Shine because of Alc ,Pills & Shopping .

I get that she’s probably trying to put a positive spin on it but Kate saying that they ‘manifested a few more days in Paris’ literally shows how detached influencers are from reality . For anyone else, losing their passport in a foreign country would be an absolute disaster, having to pay so much more money for last minute rooms in Paris and not being able to get back home to work etc. I really hate the whole idea of manifestation at all (don’t get me started on the amount of pretty photogenic girls saying they’ve manifested their influencer lifestyle when realistically the main reason they’ve got where they are is because they can take a good picture and edit a video). Not hating on Kate at all as I think she is quite sweet but influencer mentality is so detached

I find this a really annoying answer that a lot of these rich influencers give to the “it’s not a real job” thing.

yes, it probably takes some skill to edit a video. However, you aren’t good enough to do it as a full time job in an agency for example.

you’re not good enough at graphic design that you could do it as a full time job.

can she do makeup well enough on others that she could charge? no


They list off these skills that they’ve had 2% experience with (probably not even on actual Adobe software lol) for YouTube thumbnails and to edit a vlog together but if her IG/YT suddenly disappeared as she was forced to get a regular job with us folk who can’t afford £7000 Chanel bags and Carter bangles on a random Tuesday because we are bored, she’d find that she isn’t qualified to do anything except the checkouts at Tesco.

I’m tired of influencers acting like they are a one man digital marketing, HR, makeup and hair artist, customer service graphic design agency! my friend is a graphic designer, it’s very skilled and impressive job… and then the likes of Kate act like everything they do is just *so important* and *so skilled* … like no, you piece together vlog footage. I’ve seen Minecraft YouTubers with better editing.

i think that compared to the average Instagram influencer that yes she does work harder because her content is always new and fresh and she does take photos everyday. But to say this load of shit is so stupid. It’s frustrating to people who have worked hard in their careers when people like Kate are gliding through doing ads for watches that they will never even wear again

Don’t feel bad for being a normal, average weight. Most of us work full time 35-45 hours a week, Kate doesn’t even work 2-3 hours a day.

The girl does fuck all the entire day except take a couple of photos for instagram and then goes for a brunch or coffee, and when she does she hardly eats.

I’m sure if you had hours of PT/luxury gyms with no responsibility or concern for finances you too could achieve the body of an underweight 18 year old boy

I was enjoying her content as it was simple and not showy but recently well since the ten thousand photos she posted posing on the slopes looked quite braggy and superficial. Kate seems lovely, but soooooo bland. Like the definition of vanilla. She just seems void of any sort of personality. Seems totally type A as well, a perfectionist. Her good taste in clothes and pretty face is the only thing that makes her worth following, there doesn't seem to be much else to her. Although I do like how she treats her bunnies, nice to see them not in a cage, hopefully she doesn't get bored like most influencers seem to with their pets.

To be honest, I used to really like Kate and her content but I have gradually been growing to dislike her and her content in a lot of ways and I don’t really know who her content is for anymore. First off, she is stunningly beautiful (nothing wrong with that!) but in a very unrealistic way. She has a tiny petite body, the most perfect skin, teeth, full lips, tiny button nose, super symmetrical face, unique eyes that almost appear to look like contact lenses, no under eye bags or acne scarring, gorgeous hair that always looks professionally styled even when it’s not and so on.. She really won in the looks department and while that’s amazing, it’s almost unrealistic perfection that most of us don’t have. She is effortlessly gorgeous which makes ‘influencing’ a really easy job as no matter what she wears she looks great and that beauty sells. She has VERY quickly become one of the most well off young influencers because of this. I mean she moved from Brighton to central london so fast at the beginning of her influencing career and now buying a house. All of her content is based off showing people her endless designer purchases and luxury makeup, clothing, beauty tools etc that she gets gifted for FREE and also PAID to promote. Again, great for her but what doesn’t sit right with me is thats all there is. It’s all so ‘perfect’ and luxury but who is this content for? Most girls in their 20s can’t afford all of this even with their 9-5 jobs or careers. It’s just become so increasingly unrealistic, unattainable and in a lot of ways unfair. I have to apologise here as I realise I know it’s not just Kate, there are so many other influencers who could be included in this rant but really Kate is the only one I personally have followed. I of course am incredibly envious of Kates lifestyle and beauty but it does hurt me and many other of her followers, when you realise just how unrealistic her influencing is. I enjoyed watching her vlogs until I realised how bad they were making me feel about myself. All they consist of is prancing around london getting luxury gifted treatments, splurging on designer gifts for herself, going out for lunch and dinner and drinks almost every single night in the most expensive places in london and continuing to show off the huge hauls of clothing she has purchased yet again or has gotten sent. I don’t doubt that Kate works hard but you can’t argue that most of her following will never have it that easy or get to experience that lavish of a lifestyle especially at the age she is now. I just wonder how many of her followers who are basically funding her lifestyle, can actually afford to buy the things she promotes etc. It also gets me thinking why myself and others follow influencers like this. Does anyone have any thoughts? Maybe for a bit of an escape but it seems odd to use an influencer who has it all as a form of escape when actually deep down it leaves you feeling bad about yourself and where you are at. Its like I start putting myself down for not having designer clothing and handbags and shoes and for not having the money to buy a lush house in a big city or not being able to afford to spend my 20s splurging on expensive dining each night. I’m really curious to hear other people’s thoughts? Maybe have a bit of a conversation about it. As a follower of Kate, how much of the stuff she shows and promotes have you actually been able to purchase? In which ways has she influenced you?

WHY is she wearing ballgowns and diamonds to low key screenings???? Is she serious? Don’t ever let Instagram images make you feel bad, most people put on weight during Lockdown - it’s not easy to lose it. Instagram is all smoke & mirrors - only the edited highlights. Please remember Kate obviously edits & stretches her content to look thinner & taller, so she doesn’t even look like that plus filters & v flattering camera angles. So harmful when influencers falsely claim to eat pasta / pizza / chocolate & wine constantly with no exercise to be boastful they aren’t like other girls & perfect. Should be made to disclose their filtered / edited images. It’s a shame Kate has become obsessed with being seen to be as extremely skinny as Yasmin this year - not a healthy body image or food attitude at all. Stripping off in vlogs / IG much more than before to show off how awfully thin she is. Shouldn’t be able to see hip bones through clothes if healthy - she has gone too far & looks tired. Plus influencers get all their clothes, make up & beauty treatments for free - so impossible for them not to look good. Doesn’t look like she was with Bee last night at the flat, likely out in shallow Mayfair private clubs again, lost in that fake scene with a greasy guy.

Thought her dilemma which manolo blahnik shoes ( £600) should she buy was ignorant during this cost of living crisis whilst tagging Net A Porter clearly begging for her freebie or probably will get both shoes free as an AD. Neither are everyday shoes as she claimed. She has become designer label obsessed as if you can’t be stylish without logos, every photo now is accessories £2000+ & jewellery £12K+ incl Cartier or Tag watch in Old Bond Street / Sloane Sq. Forgotten her young follower base that made her rich, that’s why she’s losing followers everyday - over 3K recently & her engagement has dropped was over 4% now 1.85%.
