Let’s be real, A&E is struggling because no one can get a fucking GP appointment and after 2 years, people are getting desperate (and rightly so).

Funny how it’s SO dangerous for GPs to work face to face, but they are plenty safe enough to give boosters and see private patients.

Sorry to derail the thread, but we’ve had to move into my dads because we were getting verbal abuse off our next door neighbour, so we don’t want to get on the wrong side of anyone else

I feel sorry for the kids (one of them is disabled), and she screams and screams and screams to the point where the parents are shouting “SHUT THE FUCK UP”. It’s such a toxic environment and we have no idea what to do

I hear you don’t want to get on the wrong side of anyone, but safeguarding children is everyone’s responsibility. You can call anonymously and report your concerns. Please, please for the sake of those poor children let professionals know; social services, your local authority, the police, NSPCC, they will all be able to handle your concerns sensitively and make sure those children are ok. Disabled children are statistically more likely to be abused and I am concerned with what I’ve read.

Its getting so tiring listening to people be so critical over socialising now the drama is all kicking off again. If you don't want to socialise that is fine, but its your decision - don't try and guilt others because they aren't doing the same as you.

Mentioned about my dad having to go into hospital today for a bladder cancer tumour removal. It's been cancelled due to lack of beds. Unbelievable and infuriating. This is what is happening now. I just hope he is rebooked asap.

So far they had been keeping on top of his cancer, which was great, but today has pissed me off. He was told to go in at 7am, but he's told me he had to wait up until now, so about 9 hours later, and they've just told him they have no beds, so now what I don't know. I don't think private healthcare would even cover cancer.

I lost a relative to covid in the summer and a good friend earlier in the year to covid. I know exactly what happens. I also have to pay bills and look after the mental health and well-being of my family and schools being closed and businesses shut down AGAIN, is not helpful to either of those things. We are all vaccinated, we’ve stuck to rules. Don’t come at me with “would I rather see them on a ventilator” bullshit. Are you offering to pay our bills and to make sure my kid’s education doesn’t suffer any more than it has?
Do we just keep locking down every winter and break the economy and people’s minds? Not sure any of us signed up for that…

Situation is we have Covid in my house , I'm not vaccinated so must isolate even though (touch wood) I'm still negative. The vaccinated in my house are allowed to live life, go out, work and socialise. There is no rhyme or reason to this imbalance.
I'm a rule follower but my physical and emotional health needed me to get out of the house so I did it, I went for a fresh air run. What's frightening was how scared I was of being in trouble, paranoid that I'm being watched and someone will tap me on the shoulder. What shocked me was how guilty and anxious I felt about being a "criminal" and what made me angry was that a criminal is a drug dealer, thief, and I'm having my human rights and freedom taken away because I'm not vaccinated.

Forcing isolation on the healthy unvaccinated is about punishment and not about health.

There will effectively be no NHS after this. Which is exactly what they want. I’m already trying to find anyway I can possibly afford private healthcare because it’s already so dire and it’s just going to get worse. This is what they were aiming for from day one. Absolutely cripple the already fucked NHS, so we simply have no choice if we want to live.

I can’t tell you the amount of christmases I’ve spent with a stinking cold!!!! And is there a chance that because of all the hype people are doing more and more tests and hence the numbers are up!?

I really find it mind blowing that Triple vaccinated people, with access to tests are cancelling their plans!!
If it were that bad and scary they would literally find ways to police streets and deploy the military to stop people doing stuff and enforcing mask wearing, covid passes etc.

Aaah man it's breaking my heart reading all of these messages, so many people feeling low, anxiety rising etc. Try to take one day at a time, as trying to see past the end of this week is nigh on impossible. There's always someone around on Tattle, even during the wee small hours, so if you feel down, just come on here and have a chat/let it out/have a rant/cry, whatever it is you need to do. I can’t sleep because I’m so so so scared of being locked in Wales again, whilst my boyfriend and friends are all out living their lives across the border

I can’t sleep either I’m so anxious for my babies growing up with all this absolute bollocks,terrified about what sort of world I’ve brought them into and feeling terrible guilt about everything. In Northern Ireland and just feel sick at the thought of them bringing in charges for healthcare.

honestly,this is going to break people so much. My mental health isn’t great but it isn’t as awful as someone with a severe mental health condition so people like me are just left to get on with it. At least I have my husband for support but some people have no one. I’m crying a lot these days,every time I look at my kids faces I just want to break down. They didn’t sign up for this. None of us did.
