You know what? Good on Tommy! You’re only young once and I say this as someone who lived my life pretty full in my 20s but even I am like god I wish I’d done more and seen more (maybe not just getting wired in clubs I mean more travelling etc) but they are young people! They should not be acting like a middle aged settled down couple!

It does seem hard to imagine never wanting to go out (especially as I'd go out nearly every night if I could lol) but there are genuinely some people that don't like it and would rather stay in and watch films.
I've got two friends from secondary school that absolutely HATE going out. We're a few years older than Molly so mid twenties, but I could count on one hand the times that they've gone to a bar or a club. They have absolutely no desire to go to them and don't feel like they're missing out at all, they're totally happy! I'm not a fan of Molly at all, but I don't always thinks it's fair to call someone boring because their enjoyments aren't what is considered the social norm for their age bracket and it's kind of nice to see that she doesn't feel the pressure to act like someone she's not. (Although acting like she's the person in her photoshopped pictures is a whole different story lol).

What a fucking insult for all those people that get up at 7am every day, those who take public transport to work, those who live to the bone and have to chose to feed themselves over living life, those who are on minimum wage, those who went through 4 years of uni, those who got a promotion at work after 5 years. She got where she is today because she was in the right place at the right time, and knew the right people. Nothing of what she does is because she’s worked hard. This girl would eat herself if she was chocolate. Disgraceful

I feel like this is the beginning of the end of their relationship, I'm not saying we're gonna great a breakup tomorrow but as they move into their mi-twenties I just don't see it working. I doubt Molly is going to want to play both the doting housewife and boss business woman forever, and I think Tommy will begin to want more of a relationship like Paris and Tyson, where she is there to basically do everything for him. I mean he already had Molly doing all his laundry and cooking for him when they were both at home doing nothing over the lockdowns! I doubt she'd be so keen after she's just come back from one of her 'business trips' where she is making the money to fund both their lifestyles, to find his dirty underpants all over the place whilst he's done nothing but eat and 'train'.
Even with all the bashing she gets on her, I do deep down think she has more drive and ambition that he has, and it's clear that she (or fran) has carved out a more meaningful career than most ex-love islanders. I just feel like he is going to start holding her back the more she does. It's all fun and games now that everything is launching and she has this new chapter to look forward too, but 18 months down the line i don't see it being so hunky dory. They are just 2 fundamentally different people who we're raised very differently and were raised with different expectations of a partner. When you're in your early 20's everything is clouded by the judgement of love, but reality will soon hit. Best of luck to them both though.
