If I had a dollar for every time Holly has compared her boyfriend to the London Marathon I'd have two dollars. Which is not a lot but it's weird that it happened twice
Also, I feel like "BRITISH COUPLE IN LOS ANGELES" is such a whacko video title that it would make a great thread title all by itself, no embellishment required

This shift from Holly has actually baffled me.
This is the same girl who only a few years (if not months ago) was completely devoted to her studies, contemplated asexuality and appeared to find the very notion of talking about a guy or sex unthinkable.
Now, she had a holiday fling/FWB situation, has a boyfriend who she's around 24/7, is openly talking about sex, is doing videos wearing a thong and her bum out the whole time and is partnering with what is effectively a porn site.
If she feels more sex positive, then good for her, as it's nothing to be ashamed of. I'm just more alarmed how it's a complete 180 from her previous content, which makes it feel less genuine and kinda forced? If she acknowledged the fact she's had sex or a boyfriend, great, but it's now present everywhere with sponsorships and doing videos in lingerie.
It's like she's incapable of dealing without extremes.

I used to actually be a big fan of Holly. Thought she seemed genuine, smart, pretty down to Earth and loved her Cambridge and Australia content. Felt last year was rough but predominantly put that down to her toxic home environment; the travelling with Charlie and Dan felt fresh and a welcome step and she seemed to be in a better state with better content.
However, I’m so bored with her now and I say that as a fan. The “adult” day in the life thing is ridiculous now. You’re 25. You finished your undergraduate degree four years ago. It’s so childish at this stage.
At first, I was very happy for her with the Angelo step forward but the more it goes on, the less beneficial it seems. Controlling each other’s diets, exercise fixations and changing her whole plans over someone she’s been with for a few months is not healthy. Can’t imagine how she’d be if it ended.
Final point (and want to caveat this by saying in no way is being sex positive a negative thing) is she seems to have gone far too extreme in the sharing details of her life. Collaborating with a porn site, doing ads of herself in a thong, talking about her first time. It’s so far removed from her previous content and feel she’s compensating for the “asexual” content before. You can enjoy sex and that side now without having to prove it and force it. Just feel she may come to regret that down the line.

The comment her mum made when Holly was booking the flight was horrendous. “You might be single forever unless that’s what you want”. How does going out into the world and meeting new people increase your chances of being single forever?! She must have felt an immense amount of pressure to stay in the UK because of a comment like that. I’m judging Holly hard for cancelling all of her solo travelling plans but I also realise she must’ve had terrible guidance in her life with a mother like that.

she started running two times a day not even 5 days after the marathon and having had a "stomach bug"..
love the people on Strava calling her out under each run and how blatantly she's ignoring it. if she was healthy she would not only have a proper rest after the marathon, but would address these concerns by her fans
I haven’t watched the video yet but this seems like such a red flag for someone with a history of an eating disorder, who’s recovery is still questionable. They both seem so fixated on food and exercise, and restricting is unfortunately an easy thing to slip back into.

I can't believe she's now talking about having sex in the shower! Oh Holly, you've only known him for a couple of months. She's talking about wanting to keep her relationship offline to start with. It was offline for a couple of weeks. By normal standards, you're not even in a relationship at that point you're just dating. I just keep cringing watching her.

and what's the weird boundary she had with herself about not wanting to date someone from a dating app? girl, I'm a chronic introvert with anxiety, I get it. But there is just no way people like Holly (or me) are going to meet someone without leaving the house/being social/around people.
