I know this is going to get me annihilated on here but hear me out. I really think the above choice of phrase monkey business was poor. Have been a lurker on this thread for a year and really love it (I am NOT a sugar!) because I have found a bunch of likeminded souls who see through the utter BS that is Meghan & Harry. And yes, in all likelihood - Doria. However you’re clearly a super bright woman Freda so I don’t believe that phrase was used accidentally. And it lets the thread down for me , because then it allows the people who shout racism (as opposed to spot on bullshit detection) to have fuel.

Monkey business is a common phrase. If assholes choose to use the word monkey in a derogatory way then that's on them and I'm not playing their cancel culture fucked up games.
Are we not allowed to use the expression any more? Shall we cancel the word monkey? Even if we did that someone would be mortally offended by it's replacement because we "tried to hide our real racist intentions".
I stand by using the expression and if it makes me enemies then that's life, I don't expect everyone to like me, there is an ignore function for swerving anyone you find offensive and I'm perfectly fine with being on some people's ignore list.

Wow. The term ‘monkey business’ is commonly used, something I often say to my grandson when I know he’s up to no good. It’s not racist. Stop looking for things that aren’t there.

I used to go about every 2 months. But, have not been in about 9 months due to the coronavirus.

I was in what had been a very nice area, not any more.

That Megsy thought by marrying into the British Royal family life would be all glass coaches, glamorous clothes and jewellery but then discovered pretty smartish that it was nothing like that. I personally think that somehow she got it into her head that she would become the star of the show and that adoring crowds would love her the way they did Princess Diana. She actually thought for real that she was Di mark two.
At least for all her faults Diana came across as if she truly cared but Megsy could never pull that off. She always,always seemed fake. For an actress she wasn’t very good at putting on an act. Most people could pretty much see through her. It was at the engagement that I first thought there was something off about her. I don’t know if this has been mentioned on here or not, I’ve admittedly skimmed a lot of this thread, but there is a huge backlash against Netflix at the moment because of the film Cuties. And I agree with the backlash, the film seems very disturbing.

I’m surprised that nobody is holding these two muppets to task for not calling Netflix out.

The '#CancelNetflix trend is getting louder and louder. Rachel Whetstone is their Chief Comms Officer (married to mad Tory Steve Hilton) and seems to be asleep. Democratic VP hopeful Ambassador Susan Rice is a NetFlix Director and is also completely silent. Noted feminists Michelle Obama and The Duchess of Woke are too busy making 'entertaining content' to comment.. What'll probably happen is that Netflix will pull the film next week and then there'll be a big pile-on of Famous Feminists claiming they used their soft power to make it stop.

It has stopped the #SussexBots tweeting madly about 'P3do Andy' so that's the only good thing.

(Disclaimer: I've seen the film here in France. 85% of it is interesting and has a point about the lives of immigrant kids and young girls in particular. 15% shouldn't have been filmed in the way it was. The dance scenes are grim and unbearable when you think about the hundreds of hours of acting and rehearsing that the very young actors were asked to go through)

And lest we forget, the Duchess of Harkle felt completely free to take millions from Charles, the Royal Family and the taxpayer whilst issuing a constant stream of public criticisms of:

Thank you! We are surviving and "thriving"..... actually, just surviving. We are at my brother n law's place. We will be here a while. Our house and property..... That's all I can really say. And now with it sitting for two weeks, no electricity, and continuous days of rain and over 100 degree weather.....it's now full of mold My husband and son are working everyday. And it turns out alot of the Deputies who have been working since day 1 of this Hurricane nightmare have all tested positive for COVID, including the big boss man. So yeah, the stress never ends! On the positive, my husband and Son have NOT tested positive! The only snag our son hit, was a horrible case of poison ivy he got from clearing trees. It's been 2 weeks since I've seen them. We talk if they hit a good singnal. Our cell carrier has completely dropped the ball. The only cell carrier with 100% service is AT&T. As we deal with the aftermath of this storm, we now turn our attention to our Family and Friends in California and Oregon who are dealing with these fatal brutal fires.

Oh and to keep on topic - These two disgusting wastes of space get cringier and cringier but the day!!!! Can't the Queen do something?? I heard Frogmore has been paid back. Is PC still shelling out dough (correction, the residents of the UK) to keep them thriving in the life they think they are entitled too??
