I think people might be getting a tad over-excited about Fridays hearing in court. It's not the trial but an interim Application by the Mail to strike out parts of 38Megatons Claim. This is usually on the grounds that some exaggerated contention is disproportionately expensive to contest at trial, irrelevant or manifestly made up.
As well as saving costs, sophisticated Litigants like the Mail use these applications strategically, to draw the courts attention to how crap or dishonest one of the parties case is, and to get an expensive interim costs order to demoralise and exhaust a weak opponent before the six figure nightmare of trial. Its often a lethal last minute move to maim and disable, before the sword comes out from behind the red cape.
Evidence is in writing with oral evidence heard only rarely. Nevertheless. the nations Yankee Sweetheart and whichever poor sods might be representing her (the job from hell whatever the hourly rate) are massively out of their depth. The Claim stinks and is so obviously full of embarassing details that it could only ever have been brought in the naieve belief that the utter bastards who run Associated Newspapers might pay up to prevent the negative publicity associated with attacking the new PeoplesTruckstop Hooker Princess. As they are officially less popular than a strand of RNA in a lipid shell its not quite worked out like that.

Well, they have truly lost the plot!
I am guessing that Meagain and her ginger poodle have done this because their puff pieces and pap walks received nothing but negativity whilst Will, Kate and all the royals are receiving nothing but praise. They are so wrapped up inside their own narcissism they have completely ignored the fact that all this negativity might be their own fault.
Also, with the court hearing starting they are naively hoping that these tabloids aren’t so vitriolic or can be held up to say ‘of course they write horrid things, we’re not talking to them’
I wonder too whether this is being done because of the poor reviews to her Disney adventure. Meagain is desperate for work and wants Hollywood to think the British press are malicious and spiteful to her, rather than face the fact that she really is a crap actress.
Whoever is advising them really does not understand the first rule of getting the press onside - Don’t criticise the press, work with them.
HM The Queen and the whole firm know this. HM The Queen really has played a blinder over this as she has given them so much rope to hang themselves and the title stripping is likely to come sooner rather than later.
As mentioned, Charles or should I say Camilla, because she really holds the purse strings, won’t let the Duchy funds be squandered in this way, nor will William.
Just when you think Hazza and Meagain can’t burn any more bridges, they find a few more to burn.
For all of us here, we really should be thanking these two idiots for giving us the best possible entertainment whilst we are on lockdown.
Expect a huge rush on popcorn as we watch this all play out.

I honestly think that Harry thought that he had found someone with who he had shared interests. On the face of it, Meghan was presenting herself to be a humanitarian and as someone who was interested in doing good deeds for charity. Harry most likely saw what William and Kate had and wanted that for himself. Meghan was playing a role, the one of the perfect girlfriend who could slot into the Royal Family quite happily. She fooled a lot of us, especially the media. We all wanted to believe that Harry had found love at last.
So, after the wedding, things started to go downhill rapidly. Meghan’s mask was starting to fall and we all began to see just how much she loves to contravene the rules and play contrarian. William says something to Harry about Meghan and that adds fuel to the fire that was already there from the change in public perception. The downward spiral continued with the lies and secrecy around Archie’s birth and the misguided documentary that they did with ITV.
Harry was desperately floundering as to how he could continue to keep his wife happy and agreed to leave the Royal Family. He probably envisioned living in the peace and quiet in the countryside with their kids running around, free of press intrusion. However, he had deluded himself with this dream as Meghan and the social climber that she is, would never want to give up the press attention that she had become accustomed to. Meghan is a woman who has spent her whole life chasing the showbiz dream. She had tasted what it was like to be an A-lister and she was not going to go back.
So now, we have the sixth in line to the throne doing press calls where he denounces his title and asks to be called by his first name only. We have him at her beck and call, doing embarrassing pap shots that are obviously set up. The mighty really have fallen. He knows that his reputation is in tatters.
I think he looks embarrassed and is starting to see her for what she is - a money grabbing, status seeking, opportunist.
I think in honour of this, someone needs to post the yacht girl photos again!

Just for you - these were on my phone - this was in 2002 - our oldest was 12, our 2nd oldest was 3, and our 3rd oldest was a month old. No Doubt was having a concert in Jacksonville, FL (We lived there for 3 yrs) and we went to see her. She was the 1st of my side of the family to see our new baby. Funny side story: my husband was backstage with the baby chatting it up with this girl who just couldn't get enough of the baby......it wasn't until later during the concert did he realise he'd been chilling with Shirley Manson of GarbageShe was a my style and girl crush when I was growing up

Maybe some of it is the sheer frustration that so many people don't seem to see that legitimate criticism of MeAgain and Harried is valid. The pair of them are just so hypocritical.
Let be nice and supportive and charitable to everyone. (Except MeAgain's father and family and anyone who has ever upset her!)
Lets care and be tactful to other immediate family. (Like announcing our pregnancy at a family wedding, totally taking all attention away from the bride!)
Lets move away from the UK because we don't like the paps and media attention. ( Then move to one of the areas the most paps live and operate, and then call the paps to take photos of us doing charitable work and walking our dogs)
Lets earn our own income independent of anyone else. ( But be supported financially by Harried' s father, and have our bodyguards and security paid for by the British taxpayer.)
Lets care for our environment and encourage everyone to do the same. ( Whilst using private planes to get around the world, wearing single use expensive dresses, etc etc)
