Dahhhlings. Don't mind me not posting a new video today. You see yesterday was such a hard day. Going to London by train, getting my nails done with a friend. I mean how difficult is it to pick a nail varnish color! It's so hard, I swear. Then having some lunch with a friend with champagne of course. Who said you can't have business with pleasure, not me dahhhlings. Shopping for some bits and bobs but finding out my budget is kind of non existant. Getting blisters from my Chloé slides, cleaning the streets of London with my Zimmerman skirt. Yes dahhhlings, I don't always say it but I do too help clean the streets.

Getting back on the train to go to the amazing Cotswolds. I missed out on the farmer ploughing his field, what a sad day! It would have been my highlight of the month. Finding out I will have to find another field to pose in, so tragic. Did I ever say I bought a grade II house? Dahhhlings it was so much paperwork and such high solicitor fees, but it was all so worth it. I love my agha and frittatas with spices from my own garden. It was so marvelous getting back home and laying down on my marvelous floor to get kissed by my beautiful dogs. Yes dahhhlings, leave your manners at the door please, we are one with the dogs here.

I see the farmer has ruined her day again.
Oh and Josie, he harvested the field he didn't plough it. No doubt he will plough it soon and we will have to listen to you moaning about it's ugliness.

She has to leave those poor dog's privates alone! There is something deeply pathological about it.

I would just like to thank the farmer for harvesting that field and sparing us from yet another picture in a field wearing a white dress holding a basket of flowers! Fantastic timing

Okay I finally watched the Mejuri video and these shoes are AWFUL Her expression here accidentally echoes my feeling about them.

[No offense to anyone who owns them. I just think they are very social climby with that giant logo on the front, there's no actual design to them, and yet she's talking them up so hard. Classic, elevates your look, etc etc.]

After peeking at a few other threads of other influencers in here, I have come to only one conclusion, one that may be obvious to you all but I want to say it regardless.

If you are an influencer that has the title of "fashion" or "Lifestyle" you have absolutely no place in society, no place on god's green earth to lecture anyone on anything ever, and you HAVE to take the criticism or at least be able to, because you in reality provide absolutely no value to people's lives.

Loads of influencers have threads on here of people complaining about their ethics, morals and just general sanity - much as we do on Mumbles.

I think it's a stain on our society that sycophants put them on such a high pedestal, they are egotistical snowflakes with about as much grace as my little toe. I hate how "Influencers" are actually given a platform at all,.. what has Josie, Lydia, ITF or anyone proven to me that they can have an audience to which they can in turn.. Influence. When they get given free food in a pandemic (Lydia) or live in a £2M house to show off.

They're all a bunch of pansies, with dodgy tactics to extort the ignorant masses, and I for one am over it.

If I want t follow fashion "influencers" I would rather follow editors of magazines that actually have a reputable voice and have obviously worked hard to achieve that position.

Interiors/Lifestyle? I'll follow professional designers.

But imagine for a second everyone did that.. what would they all be contributing absolutely nothing, NOTHING!

I think Josie owes Tattle a HUGE thank you. Before her move and me finding this site when I was looking for photos of her home... I think I watched 4-6 of her vidoes per year... the travel ones. The rest of her videos were dumb "fashion" videos with all one color and a million videos on washing her face with a never ending parade of products, no thanks. Now, I watch every single one, usually on day of upload so I can laugh with you all.... before the other youtubers that I actually like. That must amount to many of her views, right? LOL

Also it is possible that luxury brands like Dior, Fendi or Bulgari are not interested in the age group that consists Josie's audience. They are probably aiming at women at their 30's or 40's who are more "dynamic" buyers

I would think luxury brands are also going after A list fashion influencers that attend fashion shows and don't post doggie porn and gold rectum content.

No one shops at VS since they announced they don’t want the trans community buying at their stores which is ridiculous. I think the quality of their lingerie is inferior .. I’m surprised Josie would even go in VS being how cheaply made it is but then again she has no taste

OK, it's just a small thing, but ... I am British and it REALLY annoys me when Josie gives recipe ingredients in American measures. Nothing against American measurements if you live in America and are an American blogger, but WE don't use cups as a cookery measurement in the UK, and she is British, so why doesn't she give recipe ingredients in UK terminology? Yes, I know ... because she's pandering to her American grannies ... I'll stop ranting now!
