Literally unfollowed her for this reason. I’m going through fertility treatment currently and seeing her constantly showing off her bump etc was making me feel like crap. I know I’m being overly sensitive butI had to unfollow her the day after she announced as she was literally unbearable yes it's exciting but we really don't need to hear/see it constantly & I also find it quite insensitive for people who struggle to conceive. I am 8 months pregnant so it's certainly not jealousy, I just couldn't be bothered with her constant posts like she's the first person in the world to be pregnant
I know what your saying but no need to laugh at your friend, or any new mother for that.. it’s a big adjustment for anyone and just because yours may be ‘worse’ doesn’t lessen theirs/removes their right to say it’s difficult...Next she'll be saying how she doesn't get more than 3 hours kip in a row...wait until you join the 30 minute club circa 8 months. A friend of mine was saying how tired she was having to wake her newborn up 3 hourly to feed, had to stop myself from laughing
So true, I find it harsh when people say she should have realised how tough it was going to be as it is impossible to know until you are there yourself. And she has the constant comparison with Lydia, whose baby is an angel (though she got forced into a feeding schedule and is rocked to sleep by a robo crib).I agree, I have 6 sisters and 2 brothers (all younger- my youngest sister is the same age as my son) and am from a huge family with a million younger cousins. No matter how prepared you feel you are for motherhood it is definitely a shock to the system and the lack of sleep Is a killer. My 4 year old has only started sleeping all the way through the night since lockdown and I’m pregnant again so just going to enjoy some sleep for a few months until it starts again!
Breastfeeding isn’t the norm though, bottlefeeding is. Breastfeeding isn’t invested in nearly as much as it needs to be and I think anyone talking about it is beneficial.
Completely agree she needs to show the difficult side of it though and stop the bloody pumping. Mind you I think she just needs to adjust her expectations in general for parenting.
Yes absolutely. He’s got a bloated face, thinning hair & stands 5’6” in his stocking feet. Get back in your box RyanI think Lucy is very pretty.
What is it with him putting women down when they’ve just had his babies? First it was his ex and now Lucy. He seems horrible.
That’s sort of the whole point of this forum..Isn’t he from Manchester?!?! May be his family? Plus I’m pretty sure his daughter lives that way as well. Whatever the set up is, it’s not for us to judge by presuming!
I agree. Who among us HASN'T received a Range Rover from their boyfriend recently? Who hasn't been to John Lewis and the White Company and dropped £500 on baby clothes on a whim? Sooo relatable.Really like Lucy and since having a baby I feel she has become quite relatable.
Sorry how would you know that? Did you run up and give him a drug test?I seen Ryan about 6 months ago in the Trafford Centre in Manchester with his daughter Scarlett and he was completely coked out of his head. It was about 3 o’clock in the day aswell.
