I think he’s lost his way. He needs to stop thinking he’s some sort of celebrity. James 18 months ago was funny, engaging & informative. James today isn’t likeable. The “fame” has definitely gone to his head.

I’m going to begin this thread on a positive note. I absolutely love Ben Carpenter. I have followed him for quite a while. His content is amazing. It’s well researched and so informative. When someone challenges him or trolls him, he is so articulate in his response. I’m so happy he is with someone as lovely as Sohee. I have also followed her since way before they got together.

I was in the JSA fb group and it was embarrassing! Middle aged women fawning over some man boy. Couldn’t give constructive criticism as the minions would fleece you. If you didn’t want to travel to Bali, eat PB and lick James’ arse you were thought as weird! Honestly I muted the FB group. They all went on about slimming clubs being the devil without the realising that they were in a slimming club. If you want to lose weight and pay a person/company and you weigh in weekly/daily and you follow a set of rules (eat X amount of cals, X amount of protein, do X amount of steps) you ARE in a slimming club!!!!!

And don't worry about pension or getting on the property ladder as no doubt you've all got well off parents who will leave you a house and money.

I wonder if he really thinks he'll be doing this in 10 years time when his hair is going, it's a bit harder to intermittently get into shape and the groupies have found a new heart throb.

It's really easy not care about money or planning for future when you have a big safety net and are playing at life with no ties like an overgrown fresher.

Edit - Just to clarify, I have no issue with JS living that lifestyle if can or wants. It's just with his attempts at rebranding as a life coach, essentially coming across as telling people to live like him and avoid commitment(s) as if it is the only way to be happy.
