The Prime Minister's spokesman said: 'This is a case in which the courts are yet to hand down a sentence so I'm not going to give anything on the specifics. I've seen the reporting and understand the concerns.'

He added: 'The UK has a policy which sees the prison service in England and Wales manage transgender prisoners on a case-by-case basis and transgender women must go through a robust risk assessment which factors in their offending history and anatomy before they can be moved to a women's prison.'

The Tories are doing better than any other party but they are still not doing enough and this is still happening on their watch. This response is just not good enough. No trans woman should be going anywhere near a women’s prison. I don’t care what crime they committed or what risk they may or may not present to female inmates. They are male. They should not be there, full stop.

I really don’t care if THE RAPIST is an AGP/legit trans person OR a bloke trying to game the system by accessing court-ordered victims on tap. That really isn’t the issue to me. The issue is that he has the ability to say he’s a woman and nobody is allowed to dispute whether or not that’s okay. The issue is that the victims have been totally sidelined to debate about where we should house male prisoners who suddenly decide that they’re actually female. With no regard for actual females in any of this situation. Women are just little pawns in this issue. It’s ALL about THE MAN.

Amelia Strickler has spoken out about new rules in her sport.

Fina also aimed to establish an 'open' category at competitions for swimmers whose gender identity is different than their sex recorded at birth.

While such moves have been praised for protecting female sport, some critics have said these rules are discriminatory.

Olympic diving champion Tom Daley [surprise surprise ] said he was "furious" at Fina's approach, saying: "Anyone that's told that they can't compete or can't do something they love just because of who they are, it's not on."

Strickler said:
"It is just something that me, my peers and my colleagues - we all work hard day in, day out - we don't want to see this happen.

"I hope people will just see an open category is still fair and inclusive but we do have to protect female sport and we have to make sure women are not at such a disadvantage."

'Big athletes not yet willing to publicly say they support me'
Strickler, who won silver at the 2017 British Athletics Championships, added she was "hoping for more support" moving forward.
"There have been big names that have spoken to me, they just are not willing to publicly say it yet," said the Ohio-born athlete.
"The more support we get on this, hopefully the rules will be put in space to protect us and our sport.

"Athletics is not football, we don't make big money. The contracts and funding matter. A lot of people don't want to jeopardise that and don't want to be called transphobic.

"That is not about not including people - that is certainly not what I'm saying. I just think we need to protect the female sex and female sport."

When I checked the BBC Sports page this article was at the top - very refreshing for the BBC to have a balanced article so prominently placed.
He's an utter moron, no one is being told they can't compete or continue to participate. They are just having to compete in their biological sex category which means they won't win but it is only right that the consequences of their choices impact them, rather than biological women.

India Willoughby Hits Out At 'Toxic And Awful' Trans Debate In Emotional Question Time Speech (msn.com)

And is quoted as saying.....“It’s been incredibly toxic and awful as a trans person,” she noted. “To be sat at home and see people who aren’t actually trans discuss your life and paint you as a whole, en masse, as dangerous to society and unwanted, is just horrible.”

I would like to change a few of these words to say......To be sat at home and see people who aren't actually WOMEN discuss your life (and your gender and your sex as a whole) is just horrible. !!!

For the past few years I think pride has been taken over by gender ideology to the point where I actually don’t feel safe to assert that I’m an old fashioned, same-sex attracted lesbian for fear of being burned at the stake. When I see anything rainbow, be it posters, badges, lanyards, road crossings etc, I don’t see it as being for me, it’s for all the straight people who want to feel fancy.

Gender ideology and LGB don’t belong in the same category, they aren’t compatible. I’ve been told I’m transphobic for not being attracted to men who say they’re women. I used to read Diva magazine until it started including trans women in their stories and writers and telling us that TiMs are women and should be welcomed.

The more aggressive the rainbows, the more aggressive men become about their claim to womanhood. I don’t include TiFs in that, because where are all the pushy and mouthy trans men?

This wouldn’t work, right?
I feel like we have so much more we could research and improve in women’s reproductive health - how can we make IVF more successful, can we understand miscarriage more, why is our stillbirth rate so high, why does it take 10 years on average for endometriosis to be diagnosed and treated? Breastfeeding support is abysmal, birth trauma is rampant…. I could literally go on. Women’s health is an absolute shitshow. Are we investing money and research into improving this? Nah! Let’s dick around implanting wombs into MEN so they can cosplay women and motherhood. Let’s pump MEN full of hormones and medication and hope it works. In what other world would we treat dysphoria with surgery?

Can men even carry a baby? Their pelvis is different, do they have the same ligaments within it that respond to the hormones of pregnancy to give room for a growing baby? Would their organs move out of the way and still function normally?

The thought of this makes me physically ill.

Also, what the fuck? We keep being told our ability to menstruate/grow/birth/feed our babies isn’t what makes us a woman. TWAW remember, how insulting to reduce us to our bodily functions. Except if you’re a TW, and want to play at woman, THEN you’re allowed to define womanhood by pregnancy and birth.

We laugh at deluded TiM's, who call themselves "lesbians" in the vain hope that actual women will have sex with them, but behind this ideology are real people, who have been irreparably damaged by their decisions to have life-altering surgeries.

My son has a friend who is a trans man. (I'm going to use male pronouns as I only know this person as a man) He's had his top surgery, he makes a living in a very male-oriented profession (which is open to women too) he met my son through a mutual friend around a year ago. I don't mean to use antiquated gender stereotypes, but this guy was so obviously socialised as a woman, he loves a gossip, he's happy to chat on the phone for hours, I've tried really hard to relate to him as a man, but my instincts just tell me otherwise. I really like this guy, he's very polite, he's great fun, and he just seems to be a lovely person. I also have a very strong feeling that he is a little bit in love with my son.
It really upsets me that this poor kid has been indoctrinated to the extent that a double masectomy has been presented as life-affirming surgery. Who is going to have a relationship with this person? Gay women don't want women who have removed their healthy breasts. Gay men don't like vaginas. Straight women tend to prefer men with a penis. And straight men like women who don't think of themselves as men.
In a different universe, my son may well have been bringing home a young woman, one who wasn't particularly "girly", one who succeeded in pursuing a career in a male-dominated environment, one who, despite some MH issues, had grown to love her body, and to appreciate the differences between the sexes, and one who could have a normal, healthy relationship with whomever she chose.

I sincerely hope that this young man finds happiness, and that his decision brings him peace. But somehow, I doubt it. And that makes me very sad indeed.

India Willoughby fathered a child with his sperm so he is not, and never will be, a biological woman. He was pitiful last night, he's thick as shit and laughably says the media are cherry picking and manipulating stories about dirty fucking rapists being imprisoned with women. Gender ideology is going to be hoisted by its own petard very soon and I cannot fucking wait.

UK Government has changed its policy on transgender prisoners - this will only apply in England and Wales, but it's a good step forward.

Question: What will happen as a result of these new changes?

As a result of the new policy, transgender women who are in future sentenced to custody and

  • have male genitalia

OR

  • who have been convicted of sexual offences

will not serve their sentences in the general women’s estate unless there are exceptional circumstances.

Brendan O'Neill in The Spectator:
It is an affront to language and truth to say ‘her penis’. It is an affront to Bryson’s victims too, who presumably had to listen as the man who assaulted them had his identity flattered and his delusions validated.

Alan Cochrane in The Telegraph:
They’re now laying bets as to when she’ll resign the leadership – after next year’s general election, perhaps, if her vote doesn’t hold up, or maybe even sooner. And she’s encouraged such speculation by announcing that she’s keen to start writing her memoirs and by refusing to say how long she’ll definitely stay as leader.

This issue seems to make people’s brains fall right out of their heads.

Sturgeon thought this was an easy, progressive win after being slow to support gay marriage, and that she could comfortably make the Tories look like bigots, because she doesn’t understand transgenderism in the slightest. Many straight people don’t, although the penny seems to be dropping now.

As soon as the law got involved trying to enforce a person’s sense of self then the plot was lost. Bryson is not, never has been, never will be, a woman, and we can’t just “be kind”, “live and let live” and put a rapist in a women’s prison. When it comes down to it, men are not women. There is absolutely no need to act like they are. And the elephant in the room is autogynephilia.

I’m gay and I entirely support individual free expression, clothing choices and sexuality of consenting adults. None of that should attract judgment. I don’t even care if autogynephiles want to enjoy their own thing in their own private time. But that does not translate to men in women’s spaces, being told as a lesbian I should include males in my dating pool, males in women’s sport and especially not males locked up with vulnerable women. Everyone needs to get real.

Bryson’s crimes were despicable but the delicious timing of this case couldn’t even have been scripted. Before even the idiotic law is passed, the potential for mischief is all over the front pages. “Self-ID is valid and causes no problems… oh not THAT self-ID, because, uh, NOW we can tell the difference.”

I am sceptical. She's said they won't be incarcerated in Cornton Vale - well, no one will be there shortly, it's due to close in a few months, be knocked down, and a new women's prison built on the same site. The current inmates are all being moved to HMP Stirling. Will Isla go to Stirling with the women or actually be put in the male estate? Until we have an answer to that I'm not convinced this isn't just weasel words.

Waterloo station are bringing in gender neutral toilets with urinals. here's a CGI graphic they've come up with. View attachment 1939614
There was a recent court case (unsure where in the UK) whereby the complaint took the place to court due to imposing unisex toilets. The judge ruled in her favour stating that it was not acceptable to have to open the door and potentially see a man at a urinal but also that a man should also not expect to be at a urinal and have a woman walk in.

People do not want them

Reading comments that have been made about Madonna and her appearance and her calling it out as ageism and misogyny, which I agree with. It just makes you realise the hypocrisy. The same people (looking at YOU Lorraine Kelly) who make disparaging remarks about Madonna’s appearance, a woman in her 60s, will fawn over fake woman in his 60s Eddie Izzard, who looks like dog shit, but they won’t hear a word against him. If that isn’t a clear cut example of misogyny I don’t know what is.

That Lorraine feels comfortable enough to actually make comments about Madonna’s face, but will openly say Eddie looks FAB….honestly I just despair sometimes.

One of the teams upstairs in my office were discussing the little girl in Galashiels and one made an excellent point - Sturgeon's GRR bill has made everyone far more aware of pervs using trans as a loophole/get out of jail card. Well done Nicola, I'll have an office full of TERFs by the time the week is out.

It just looks like men's toilets to me. I've definitely been in loos where the sinks are in the middle like that. It doesn't look like the cubicles have doors on them, but I expect that's just because this is designed to show the layout. I'm pretty sure they'd have doors once built.

I'd expect gender neutral toilets to only have cubicles to be honest and I'd also expect them to be provided in addition to male and female toilets, with the implication being that trans people use them. I think third spaces are the answer as most men and women like their single sex spaces, but I do understand why a trans woman might not want to use the men's - so a neutral option seems to be the only solution to me.
But you're a man, just like TW's. You don't have to deal with menstrual blood on your hands, you don't have to semi undress to pee, you don't have to deal with pissed on toilet seats and you don't mind seeing other bloke peeing at urinals.

Women on the other hand, absolutely do!

Mixed sex facilities only ever benefit men and take away from women.

He’s just plain old creepy. It’s like he’s trying to be as vile and sleazy as possible. He’s fat, sweaty, pale, hairy and not very attractive. Which believe it or not I’m not judging him for. I’m pretty fat and pale myself 🥴 it’s the fact he’s going out his way to accentuate all his unattractive features and thinks we should all fall at his chubby little trotters. It’s bizarre but I can’t say I’m losing sleep over it. I avoid anything he’s on and would not watch his video if you paid me. No pearl clutching here, more like body swerving.

26 year old trans child molester in California who plead guilty for the sexual assault of a 10 year old girl when he was 17 is sentenced to two years in a female juvenile youth facility. He will not be made to sign the sex offender register on his release.

You are calling the Royal National Institute for the Blind divisive.

They are a waste of money. Does someone need to get knocked down on one to prove the point as you are minimizing a problem because it doesn’t affect you.
Absolutely. There is very good reason why they are black and white and also why safety signs and road markings should have uniformity. I would have thought it was glaringly obvious to be honest and rather flabbergasted and offended to be accused of homophobia for thinking so 🙃
As a child, an immediate family member was hit by a car and seriously injured. It has life long ramifications for my family. If this causes one accident it’s one too many for something utterly utterly pointless. And if it were the suffragette/terf colours I’d feel exactly the same fucking way!
