The older he gets the clearer it is that Barney has some pretty serious developmental issues. They should stop focussing on going on shit Disney trips and actually help their child.

I don’t say this lightly, but having worked in Special Needs for ten years, sadly I think many of his developmental issues are exacerbated, if not caused by his environment: inconsistent parenting, lack of routine and appropriate boundaries, poor diet and overuse of screen time to the detriment of socialisation. He hasn’t been given sufficient opportunities to walk and talk (always has a dummy stuffed in his face and nine times out of ten in a buggy or on reins) or explore the world around him and no one apparently ever really interacts with him meaningfully. I know we only have a snapshot of their lives, but if this is what they are prepared to share I honestly think they have some very misguided ideas of what it takes to raise a human.

The fact Barney has his own coke in front of him in his own cup is a fucking disgrace.. holiday or not he doesn’t need coke and he can look straight ahead at his morbidly obese dad as a role model because that’s how he will end up. He needs hydration not diabetes.

That video is disgusting. Teach your kid to sit at a table, eat off a plate and get that dummy away from him whilst eating. I would be absolutely mortified if my child did that and would be wiping the evidence, not sharing it.
