So she’s now magically down to 14.8k debt 🙄 I feel bad for anyone following her who’s actually on a proper debt journey, she’s so unrealistic

Just come here from watching her on tik tok. Thought she was amazing and so inspiring as I have a tiny debt and couldn’t believe how big her debt was and how she was doing it..
Now I feel so disheartened and pissed off. How the duck has she paid off her debts so quick?? I then found her Instagram and everything is a bloody AD and she’s an ‘influencer’. She’s brought 2 cars and how has that not put a bump in the road for her debt journey??
Everything handed to her on a plate and she is so fake!!

My favorite part of the whole thing is that she claims she’s a socialist and anti capitalist but then profits from the stock market which is a central institution of capitalism. Then she will go off on dates with guys she says she’d never date because they are torys, yet happily uses them for a free night out. She clearly can’t stand by her own apparent strong convictions. How can she not see how contradictory she is? She’s so full of it hahaha

I don’t agree. Allowing yourself some treats whilst working to pay off debt may help her stay on track. I don’t believe that just because someone is in debt they aren’t allowed the occasional treat. She still needs to live
That's all she does. She doesn't seem to have cut back on a single thing. Hair, nails, clothes, days out, food... Occasional treat, sure. But she's pedalling this 'I'm so relatable; I have debts too!' angle and in fact, she's not remotely relatable. She's had debts erased because she's in the public eye and managed to pay off near on half of whats left in a matter of weeks. I find her behaviour and the way she flaunts it insulting when paired with her 'debt journey'.

I just can't imagine how you could think of yourself as legitimately 'struggling' with debt if you're able to pay of 38k in 6 months. It took her longer to accrue the debt than to pay it.

i feel bad for the people with low salaries and high debts who follow her and are genuinely poor. She's very financially privileged and always has been, she's just been irresponsible.

Since I know you read here, Yasmine, I think it’s disgusting that you got your debt wiped by Klarna. What a shitty message to send, whine on the internet and expect other people to solve your problems. So now you’ll sell the bike and profit too. You’re a disgrace, have some fucking pride for the love of god. You’re a grown ass woman who earns 60k a year. Get some self respect and pay your own debt.

Girl needs to get a job again before she tanks financially , she’s not kidding anyone she’s surviving freelance . Shilling mini golf and total rubbish .
Most of these accounts with a money focus go downhill fast - they have good hook with a large amount of money to save or debt to pay off = they start convincing you you can do a bit of vinted here and some cash stuffing there and in no time £70k is paid off; always really transparent to start with and then it all gets vague and over time you realise that the side hustle money is mainly now affiliate links / sponsors / creators fund so its not something the average person can do. She is defensive because she has realised she can't have it both ways; she can't play that person that is struggling financially because she is also shilling courses on how to project manage and (even worse) organise your finances, but she also can't pretend to be successful and be the 'transparent' person that she says she is. The way she is deflecting on her videos about claiming UC - saying there is 'no shame in it' etc - absolutely - people do feel shamed by claiming UC and they shouldn't - but that isn't the issue here is it - the issue is your sitting on the sunbed in Greece telling us that - you are one moment presenting yourself as a person so successful that you can sell course to tell others how to do it, an expert in money management that managed to 'pay off' a huge amount of debt and so on and then - oh I need to claim UC. Thats what is shameful, she's been selling products to others to help achieve a status she never had. The haircut video says it all - she's had a very good cut done and a completely new colour - not cheap - especially in London. If you a struggling use a box dye and tie it in an up do for a few months  'I had that pre-saved" so what?!? I could take out the cash and buy a bag from Gucci and say it was pre-saved- but I wouldn't be able to afford to feed my kids or pay the mortgage - pre-saved / cash envelopes its all BS.
I would find it funny except for the fact that here focus is on money - she is not qualified to give advice, and in times like these she should not be exploiting other people that need good money management help. There are many legitimate places that qualified financial advisers would signpost to people that needed them to help get themselves back on track - they don't need to buy a budget planner from a woman that can't stop spending and then thinks holidays abroad and haircuts are essential spending.

Ok. Previously stood up for her. Lost all respect now she’s broke covid rules.
Her son has been for a pcr today, she went out today to get her second vaccination.
Yasmin if your not double jabbed (14 days needs to have passed since second jab) you should also be isolating.

It's a legal requirement for children of different sexes to have separate rooms when they get to a certain age. It's not really unreasonable to want to get ahead of that
That only applies to Housing Association properties. It's absolutely not a legal requirement.

She got herself out of debt because she wasn’t in debt due to basic needs like the average person, her debt was purely from impulse over spending. £500 was from an art piece, another few thousand was a new sofa. Her debt repayments were completely manageable on her salary and she still had money in her budget for purchases outside of the necessities. Her story is so frustrating because most people getting out of debt have to scrimp and save and cut out all spending to be able to even begin to make a dent on it

Wow that Costco haul was not the shopping trip of someone needing to claim universal credit. I don’t believe that was any cheaper than normal food shopping would have been especially buying all those brand names!
We are extremely comfortable and even I wouldn’t be buying those extravagant cereals!

If she can pay off this much so quickly it’s even more of a disgrace she was that much in debt in the first place!

She just seems so chaotic and unwell and not a thriving person , she needs to get a proper job and take time to look after herself as constantly trying to generate content is taking its toll on her .

£500 at Costco today. Is this woman skint or not? I’m definitely not poor, but I’ve never been in a financial position to spend that much on one shop!

I'm roughly the same size as her...sorry Hun but we're plus size not midsize 😂😭

Well I guess in between the two but I wouldn't confidently label myself midsize and she a bit bigger than me

It's all BS, worryingly you can book a money or business planning session with her through her linktree  yet however she tries to spin things - she is clearly in a mess. I can't bear all these course floggers you get now - this woman has absolutely no financial credentials and has the audacity to give advice whilst those of us that work in the financial advice sector have never been more regulated and have to pay an absolute fortune in PI cover, I'm constantly doing exams; its infuriating. What is her advice?? get cash out put it in envelopes - but not just any envelopes - they have to be fancy ones like these ones you can buy through me; then buy a planner, then get all the clothes that you've wasted money on like I have - sell them on Vinted for a couple of pounds and you're sorted! And then once you've paid me for life advice I am going to do a video from a sunbed on a Greek Island no less to let you know that actually I am broke - I'm shocked that being self employed is actually very precarious and have no safety net - well I do but I'm not actually prepared to use that for something as mudane as this - so once I'm back from my Jollys I'm going to claim Universal credit . So many of these 'money' accounts are the same - I have such a hard time believing any of them. Another popular cash stuffing account Girl on a budget, who seems much more on the ball and commited than Yasmine did a YT video recently saying she had actually pretended to pay off debt that she hadn't - they are all the same - its all just content for likes and views and affiliate links.

thats exactly why I dislike her. It took me and my husband 4 years to pay off our debts, and we were so proud of ourselves. 4 hard years and Yasmin does it in 4 months 😔
Go careful there as she or her TikTok fans will tell you she still has 13k to pay! Her debt story was born mainly out of her own decisions on spending which she still doesn’t acknowledge but will pull out frequently being a single mother in london, coming out of an abusive relationship, mental health, adhd etc She managed to use that to build a following on TikTok that bought into her story of repaying her debt in a couple of years and promises of sharing ideas of how to bring in extra money to pay off debt. There was talk of car boot sales that never happened, selling her peloton bike never happened but miraculously Klarna wrote off that debt due to mental issues after her story was published in the Sun and a few weeks later she takes out new finance for a new car. Yes she has shared ideas about paid surveys , depop and vinted but they would hardly make a dent in her debt. Her success has been using I’m sure other peoples ideas for different types of affiliate links freetrade, GoHenry , whirly toys etc to persuade people to subscribe which has brought in at least 6k from freetrade, enough money on GoHenry to probably not have to give pocket money to her kids for a year or so . There has been mention of onlyfans and I’ve heard a rumour of sugardaddy dating who knows what she managed to bring in from them. Then there is the relaunch of her Instagram with the ads, partnerships etc that has bought quite a considerable sum of money over the last few months . Yet she is still using her debt story and back story and people are supporting her even though she has a high stable net income (4K) , has at least doubled that on a few occasions whilst talking of in the next year saving 12k for holidays , buying her ex out of her property, converting her loft into a room , saving enough for an emergency fund to cover 3 months of bills (9k!!!) and paying off the rest of her debt by end of July. It surprises me there is not more backlash
