ooh, maybe. I've noticed that Arrow has become fairly popular as a name in itself, so that would make sense!I wonder if it's because the name Sparrow itself sounds 'strong' because it has 'arrow' in it maybe?

I knew someone who pronounced it like that too. Fortunately it was her middle name.I knew of a Deborah who pronounced it Du-bore-ah
i have a cousin called Abigail, always known as Abi - and it's also always reminded me of scabs. not the nicest of associations! When my son started school there was a girl in his class called abigail. He couldn't quite remember her name and called her emmerdale
I had dog named Kenzo - he was already named when we adopted him
Maybe you haven’t heard of many because it is a shit, chavvy name??
Abigail is one of the ugliest names out there.
My husband likes it because it means “father’s joy”. In his language (Hebrew) it’s Avigayil, which is marginally better, but still kind of rough.
Ouch!I really hate the name Abigail, I had a friend called Abi and i would always involuntarily call her Scabby/scabs in my head, not because she was actually scabby or anything
Because his mum agreed to an article about unusual names and they read the articleHow did anyone possibly mention a name you made up?
Yh I get that my son was born before the pandemic though that was just a unfortunate coincidenceStill sounds like a variant of Covid to me
