so, she's sticking up for allegra stratton now? yuck

luckily, there's a few squigs pointing out that, no, we didn't all fall for it
No offence but I thought Allegra looked pissed up in that video, she was lolling all over the podium and giggling like a drunken teen being told of by their parents.

I don't care they had a party last year. Last year I made the best of Christmas with my family in my own home. She was given the choice to pick someone to stay with of alone and she didn't. So shut up.

Well…. when she lets her true, nasty nature out of the bag it really shines a light on her “be kind” act and all that wellness bollocks, hey…

Soooo, who’s got the narc playbook - how long until she blames it on being pissed or in a fugue state or whatever, before playing the innocent tortured soul/hapless victim?

Exactly, exactly exactly. Sorry to be a Mumsnet style ninny but there’s no place for jokes about dead anything with regards to birth, babies, children. She’s meant to be a mother herself?
Absolutely this. Plus dead cat? Like Sophie the kitten :( I'm not a tory fan but I am a mum, let the new mum and dad enjoy their new baby Jack.

The induction thing is triggering :( Some babies sadly pass away during pregnancy and induction is the only way to help the mother give birth to her dead child. It is every bit as tragic and distressing as it sounds.
Also, me rail but my youngest child was diagnosed with a serious lung condition in utero with predicted survival 10%. I had to continue my pregnancy knowing I might lose her at any time. I had to be induced because the consultants wanted her to be intubated for the ventilator at birth. So I went through a long and traumatic labour after being induced, gave birth and could not hold or see my baby. She was intubated by a crash team and whisked away. Baby was in Nicu for months, had major surgeries, ventilator, ECMO, she was the sickest baby in the hospital at one point. It was the most stressful, worrying time of my life. Thanks to the NHS and the absolutely dedicated, kind staff, my baby survived. Not without complications and she is disabled but she is 3 now and wouldn't be here without the wonderful people who saved her. I had ptsd for over a year after it all happened. Couldn't sleep as had to check through the night is she breathing, are her SATS ok and that is despite having oxygen and SATS monitors. The worry is off the scale. You worry a lot as it is with healthy children but it's amplified when you have an ill child. I'm grateful every day for my precious wee one but I still get emotional on her birthday because I can never forget what she went through.

Jack takes motherhood for granted despite her son being a wee bit early in in Special care for a bit. In that one tweet, she dismisses the reality of what so many women and children go through. Pregnancy and birth is still very dangerous for mum and baby even with good medical care. Induction isn't a luxury, often it is a necessity and sometimes it can save a life.

I was induced. Gestational diabetes which is really common and affects how well the placenta works. Took 3 days. Birth is a natural process but it used to be one where
many many babies and mothers died. I am grateful to modern obstetrics and it shouldn’t be talked about flippantly.

She is absolutely vile, has no remorse whatsoever and only deleted because she was called out. I hope this finishes her.

I just read that Carrie was six weeks early
and had also miscarried prior to this pregnancy
and it’s just so vile that Jack would even say anything, given her luck in conceiving accidentally and managing a healthy pregnancy and a labour apparently so easy that she was doing her primo autismo analysis during it. Like even if you personally loathe the woman, how utterly devoid of empathy to not realise how scared she would be, for herself and baby?

And let’s say the conspiracy is true and she was induced… well six weeks early wouldn’t be her or any mother’s choice, would it? So that’s coercive abuse from her husband for political reasons on top of everything. (For clarity I don’t think it is the case but if you are going to tweet it to 300k+ people you’d surely consider the implications?).

We’re all well-versed in “Jack is a narc” but I fully believe she has antisocial personality disorder on top of this, there is genuinely no other explanation for someone to be this consistently vile. She’s a cluster B smorgasbord.

I hate that tweet, but if she's going to have the balls to post it, she should have the balls to keep it up. At least delete and apologise, but yet again she's not sorry for what she's said, she's merely protecting herself. I hope LJC is furiously cycling to South End and an apology will shortly follow. #brill

It won't though, sadly. It was received more positively than not by those who replied and got 1200 likes in less than an hour. Might get the Daily Mail to attack her but that would bolster her waning left-wing cred, no?

I had to look up what they're meant to be saving JRM from. I'm guessing because he also joked about the Christmas party? Which means she STILL hasn't understood what the 'dead cat' thing is all about. THE CHRISTMAS PARTY AND EVERYTHING ABOUT IT IS THE DEAD CAT, JACK. FFS. It's there to distract from more important things. It has absolutely duck all to do with who made what joke. She's such a freaking idiot.

Carrie Johnson has been open about having a miscarriage as well which makes the now-deleted tweet even more in bad taste.
