Welcome to the Thread and great first post @Mock Turtle ! :m
Thank you for the lovely welcome!

I agree with so much of what’s said in here - not all of it but then that wouldn’t be healthy if we all just noddingly agreed all the time.

In fact, it’s what Meagain is looking for and it doesn’t make for a normal, interesting world. It’s what bothers me most about the two of them and the woke bandwagon (and equally the BoJo/Trumpites on the other end of the spectrum). Why has the world forgotten how to debate? Why can’t it be ok to listen to each other and agree to disagree anymore?

The way the Harkles are using racism and victimhood as a weapon is designed entirely to silence debate. Piers disagrees so he’s gone. Sharon backed him so she’s gone. The royal family can’t fight back (or risk looking as blindly wilfully self obsessed as the Harkles in a world full of people actually struggling).

It’s not even so much the blatant lies that bother me as the fact that two of the world’s most privileged people are claiming to be victims. Standing in a poverty stricken corner of South Africa going on about not “thriving”. Living in palaces making out you’re being bullied and abused. It drove me mad when Diana did it all those years ago but you weren’t even allowed to question her (and plus, she had plenty of redeeming features to half make up for it).

Gah! Sorry - I’ll stop ranting now...

Good grief Twitter is full of people inciting hate. They obviously don't have enough moderators to police it all.

I'm in 2 minds about this. Obviously nobody should be sending threats or inciting hatred but on the other hand I've seen forums fall down due to excessive moderation. Digital Spy (spits) is one of them. The moderation on there is appalling and has led to a woke chamber of doublethink where only accepted opinions are allowed.
This has led me to be very wary about censorship because this power can be politicised and put into the wrong hands.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, those running twitter havee an agenda. I don't use it much, just to nosy, so not too well versed on it, but during the USA election shit I followed a few tweeters to keep up to date, one being James Woods who I generally think talks sense. He is a Trump guy though, so his tweets reflected that but were interesting none the less. However twitter kept dicking around with his account, deleting tweets and jailing him for unspecified reasons. They also deleted his number of followers so he looked less popular. It was such obviously bias against his Trump views and it was quite bizarre that perfectly acceptable calm tweets were being deleted. I'm not even a Trump supporter but the blatant bias infuriated me. Make no mistake, Twitter has an agenda and if your face doesn't fit they will make your time on there difficult.
If they (twitter owners) like smeggy then they WILL overlook the sussex squad twats thrreats and vile attitude. to anyone dissing her. Simple as that.
What is needed is for the press to call the squad to account, initiate a campaign to get to the bottom of WTF is going on and force twitter to deal with them by shaming those allowing this abuse of reporters.

"I want you to watch me take a massive poo in an enormous toilet. For hours."
Hah! When I was about 11 one of my big sisters was about to drop sprog number 3 and I remember asking her "What's it really like having a baby"
Her reply was "It's just like taking a big shit". Ok, I thought to myself, that doesn't sound too bad.
Lying bitch!

Might we dare to hope that the RF have had a wee jamboree and agreed that Anne will take one for the team and own this
'whatever was said' scenario.
Anne is not one to mince her words or opinion and could be an ideal fall guy.

I'd pay to view her giving H&M a piece of her mind.

Lady C mentioned “a loving aunt” and you know, I think she really was/is. You look at pictures of past family gatherings and it’s really noticeable just how often Harry and Anne were next to each other, choosing each other’s company in a whole gang of family options. She grew up as the spare too and handled it beautifully, so I can really see that she focused on Harry and tried to help him handle it too. That love is what motivated her warning him about Meagain the dangerous player and look how the twunt has repaid her.

Tbh, If I was a person of colour I'd be really angry that The Hag was trying to represent my group. I mean, she's everything that's to be despised. The sugars are telling people they're a bunch of skanky low lifes by supporting Haggy.

I'd rather identify as a rat than The Hag. At least rats are intelligent and make good parents.

The sugars are a bunch of racists because all they see is what colour someone is, not whether they're a decent person.
I understand you girl! I am POC and if someone barks 'racism' without actually proving it, it really boils my blood as the true efforts of victim of racism gets sweeped away in dustpan

He should shut his gormless mouth and remember who he owes his luck to. Idris this, Idris that - Idris was a dragon as far as I am concerned. 🐉
:mad: All of these fucking idiots attended the wedding and enjoyed the hospitality of the RF. Idris Elba, Patrick Adams, Oprah. But now it’s convenient the RF are a disgusting inherently racist institution and good on Meghan for bringing them down :mad:

Disgusting champagne socialists and do as I say not as I do attitude

edit- speaking of guests, remember Charles really looking after Doria on the day!? What a racist horrible family! Didn’t welcome them with open arms at all!

First Lady C I’ve listened to. Very interesting and very plausible. Anne objected to Smeg’s character, pushiness, arrogance, shallowness and her unwillingness to take on board British culture and learn anything.

HMTQ isn't making any form of address for Easter. This is very odd - is something up? Prince Philip?

I had honestly never heard of the bint before all this blew up over marrying H, etc .
Who is she here? A no-body.
I’ve seen hundreds of comments from her fans saying she was a Hollywood actress with her own career and that she sacrificed it for her love for Harry. The stupidity and general lack of awareness of facts is sickening

the fact that the Harkles let the entire world believe it was either PC or PW or K who asked about what the doll will look like boils my blood. They knew it wasn't any of them but EVIL F***ing HARKLES wanted the headline of them being scrutinized and receive death threats from these sugar nuts... who does that?!?! F***ing fame hungry b**** put words into brainless chimpo's mouth just to get views and clicks. i am fuming. if any staff of RF is reading this, please by all means necessary DO NOT give any of the offsprings/dolls titles or money when PC becomes king. Just let them rot in one of their 16 bathrooms.

I love Princess Anne even more. We all need a Princess Anne in our lives.

Haznos real beef here is obviously money related not race related. He's a mingy stingy whiney baby!
Absolutely. He's the most entitled bastard in the family, bar none. Really thinks he should be funded out the royal purse and dad's estates ie. from the hard work of the people who live on the estates and the taxpayer because he's 'born to it', even if he lives 7000 miles away from Britain and does merch deals. He's an appalling character and I really think it's down to being thick as mud, as well as the youngest and pandered to instead of having his arse kicked regularly for his failings as a kid and being told to step up as an adult or else.

I don't believe for 5 seconds that it was suggested that Smeggy carry on acting due to their being no funds 🙄 Surely that was suggested in case she wanted to. We all know that she spent a bloody fortune on clothes (probably more than I've spent in my entire life!)
Yep, they didn't think a working royal life would suit Ms. Thang with all the protocols and restrictions and OBVIOUSLY they were right. She couldn't or wouldn't learn protocol, overspent like Imelda fucking Marcos on her inevitably ill-fitting designer shite, and not even British designer shite, foreign designer shite, and made a stupid dumb pig of herself acting the entitled fool at various events like Wimbeldon. She's a fucking car crash human being and I wish to hell they'd forced Harry's hand and made them fuck off from the beginning. Obviously Smeggers thought she could get the funding she wanted as a working royal AND force her merch game on The Firm while eventually fucking off with all funding intact to Hollywood again. She was wrong, and that's what led to her epic flounce.

I'm not sure she should have said anything about it even if she does have a solid source - which I'm not 100% convinced she does. She has contacts but I doubt she's as best buds as she'd like everyone to think.

However Gayle King certainly also has an agenda to make everything seem as dramatic as possible and that this interview is single handedly going to topple the monarchy and the Commonwealth.
The Mail are running the story... ETA 'Buckingham Palace declined to comment on the claims made in a podcast '
(It's a straight account of Lady C's comments on her podcast - no additional reporting)

She added that Anne was concerned that Meghan may not 'actually have respect for the institution in to which she was marrying, and the family in which she was marrying'.

'Meghan and Harry have used that genuine concern of a loving aunt, knowing that because she is down to earth, experienced, modest, intelligent and sensible, and that you cannot make a sow's ear into a silk purse.

'Nobody is the guilty party in terms of racism. But Princess Anne was the champion in terms of 'don't marry that girl, she is unsuitable. She is wrong for the country, wrong for the job. Well, it's turned out to be true.

Anyone else met and started dating a 30+year old man, and then been angry because his in-laws wouldn't just pay for you and suggested you keep working?

Nope? Just Meghan, then.

Or maybe ....I dunno...the muti-millionaire boyfriend could have offered to support her? Why would the palace get involved in paying for a girl friend?

I cannot believe that Harry - as a GROWN MAN - expected her bills to be paid by Papa, too. They really are like a pair of spoilt teenagers, aren't they?

Harry: But that was right at the beginning, when she wasn’t going to get security, when members of my family were suggesting that she carries on acting, because there was not enough money to pay for her, and all this sort of stuff. Like, there was some real obvious signs before we even got married that this was going to be really hard.

Thank you @ResidentMerkin and @Kittypops for another shiny new thread.

Back on the 'what's wrong with Harry' discussion...

The last time Prince Harry saw Vicki McBratney she was his matron at Ludgrove Preparatory School helping him get over the loss of his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales.
As a 13-year-old schoolboy, the Prince would sit with Matron and show her letters from his late mother as they chatted over a cup of hot chocolate. She, too, had lost her mother and they formed an immediate bond.
Today the Prince had a happy and unexpected reunion with his old confidante 17 years after he last saw her, when she popped up in a crowd of royal fans during a walkabout in New Zealand.
Prince Harry chats to his old matron from Ludgrove School Vicky McBratley as he meets the people of Christchurch after visiting the 'Quake City' Museum in Christchurch, New Zealand

The Prince with his former matron

Mrs McBratney, 44, who now works as a pre-school teacher in Christchurch, reminisced with him about his schooldays as she gave him a collection of photographs of him and his friends taken at Ludgrove, which he attended until 1998.
"My goodness, I remember you," the Prince said. "Long time no see."
Mrs McBratney, who had waited for two hours to see the Prince, started her job at Ludgrove on the day of Princess Diana’s funeral in 1997.
She said: “Every couple of weeks he’d come and knock on my door and we’d both go to the matron’s lounge and I’d make him a Milo or a hot chocolate and we’d sit and talk and he’d share his letters from his Mum.
“(He was) a loveable, friendly, nice boy. Cheeky, but not naughty. He's still got that same smile.
“I wasn’t sure he’d remember me after all these years but he did. It was really nice to relate to him again. He just looked really shocked and said 'Hi Vicki, nice to see you', gave me a kiss and had a chat.”
As he looked through the photographs she gave him, the Prince said: “They are awesome, there’s Walter! I love that.”
Mrs McBratney said that when she started work at the school, “the headmaster said Harry won’t be back until Wednesday because of the funeral, and I was saying ‘Harry, who’s Harry?’” When he did arrive for the start of term, she made sure he knew “I was there for him” because her own mother had died the year before.

When Mrs McBratney asked him how he had been since she last saw him, he said: “Very well, keeping busy.”
Mrs McBratney said she was known to Prince Harry as “ma’am” and her duties included waking him up, laying out his clothes, tucking him up in bed and supporting him when he played sport. She said she was his “counsellor and nanny” and effectively became a surrogate mother.

He was so fond of her that when his brother Prince William attended a premiere of The Man In The Iron Mask he asked him to get an autograph for her from its star, Leonardo DiCaprio, her favourite actor.
She said: “Harry came back the week after and said: ‘Ma’am, Ma’am, look!’ and showed me a programme signed ‘To Vicki, all the best, Leonardo DiCaprio’.”
She said the boys would play a game called “royal flush” in which the other boys would pretend to flush Prince Harry’s head down the toilet.

I'd never made the link before, but in the Telegraph piece it's clear that Harry was already going to get an extra year at Ludgrove. His birthday is 15 September, so he started out as one of the oldest boys in his year, but they still decided he needed to be kept back for another year before going to Eton. It wasn't anything to do with Diana's death at the end of August - Ludgrove were already expecting him back. Matron already had duties in her contract to tuck him in at night and lay out his clothes. Makes him sound very young for his age. Instead, we have a 13 year old who is a full year older than any of the boys in the school, tall and athletic, at the receiving end of 'Royal Flushes'. Bullying is vile, but for the boys to pick on the oldest boy in the school? Doesn't sound quite right, does it? That's not dyslexia, that's something else.
