I think those sounds are soothing if you take away the rest of the noise. I've listened to other ASMR videos and the clinking ice cubes and the crinkling bags are very much in-line with soothing sounds.

When I was working in California, my dad came over for my 21 st birthday, and I picked him up from the airport, and I came out of the airport grounds onto a street that was 3 lanes on each side and turned right, my dad did the whole protective arm out, screaming ‘wth was I doing’ etc, and I was laughing so hard, we nearly did have an accident! My 21st coincided with one of Disneyland’s anniversaries, July 4th weekend, and been winter, we got a brilliant fireworks display!Well unless you live in a big city we don't really have stoplights/traffic lights - at least not where I live! So it's not really something I can practice lol idk

I know Abbie will never be completely independent but one important life skill for her to learn is potty training. If she has to go into a group home at somepoint nobody will want to have to constantly change her diapers as a adult.
I saw an interesting (TikTok? Reel? Short?) the other day by a young man with autism, maybe around 12-15 years old talking about whether or not he was toilet trained.
How in the world did we get to a place where children are being filmed and talking about these private topics to the entire public world to acquire the almighty dollar?
I digress.
But he was quite articulate about it. He said that he was not toilet trained in the traditional sense, and that he could not always tell when he needed to go. He said that to avoid accidents he went to the restroom on a schedule.
Gee, Pig and Assa, if only someone could reliably set that up for Abby instead of giving up on the notion that she’ll ever toilet train. It would keep her out of the 24/7 diapers that we know you don’t change nearly often enough. Think of the stench reduction in the manor without full diapers around. Less leaks on the furniture. Fewer diapers to shred/consume. Healthier skin and increased comfort for your child.
I’m just sayin’.
