A family friend, who is not a nice person and has recently done some shitty things to me, is going to have a baby soon. I’m thinking I will completely ignore this, not send a card or anything, and not react to her social media posts.
I worked with a bully some years ago.
When it was announced that he was leaving the company for a new job elsewhere, I took pleasure in never once congratulating him, or referring to it in any way. I smiled into his face and talked about the weather if our paths crossed.

I knew him well enough to know that it would really bug him that I said nothing whatsoever. 😁

Really petty but whenever I receive a wedding invitation with specific gift requests in it, I totally ignore them and get something else

We have this family friend who is a bit of a pain up the arse, for some reason she started making comments about how tall I am! As far as I know I am 5’6 but she insists I am soooo tall, at least 5’10. Real weird. So I’ve ordered a height chart from Shein (got it for a pound with free delivery) and I’m thinking of putting it up in the kitchen and then just kind of lurking around it to hopefully prove once and for all I am indeed 5’6!

They can be petty, but we can be pettier!!

I cut a very small hole in the arse hole of all my ex’s expensive boxers when I found out he had been cheating on me 😂 small enough not to notice at first glance, but big enough that he looked like he had an easy access hole 😂

What a brilliant idea!!!!!! Somehow don't think I'm invited to baby shower but non the less I'm so gonna do this!!! 😂😂😂😂😂

You need to pointing out her weird obsession with your baby's paternity, sounds like she's deflecting to me. When her baby is born you should make sly comments that they look like a male mate of hers. Hold up a mirror to her nastiness.

Years ago when I was temping I worked in an office where everyone looked like they'd sucked lemons for breakfast. This was due to the miserable office manager.

The office manager made me do loads of photocopying but told me off for walking past her desk to get to the photocopier (which was the quickest route). She told me that I had to walk all the way around the office to get to the photocopy machine.

The job was only for a week so on the last day I deliberately walked past her desk, when she complained I managed to drop the huge bundle of photocopies in front of her desk, then I made sure the papers were all messed up out of order before I headed for the door.

I was thinking things you could do inside the house. Like loosening salt pots so it all falls out on their dinner. Or swopping the salt and sugar round stuff like that.
Maybe you could order a strippogram to their work if you could get away with not being caught out
Triggered!!!
Oh you've just triggered off a memory of a stripper for an older lady's leaving work. Only he turned up in works time in a Tarzan costume and wanted her to swing on his 🍌appendage, if you know what I mean.
As she was over 50, naturally clambering up was a bit of a stretch, plus all her work colleagues were crowded round including the dumbstruck bosses who were expecting something tame.
It was horrific, so humiliating. I would have burst into tears and run away never to show my face again. We never saw her again after that and the bosses banned anything like this.
Dread to think what happened to the person who arranged it 😬😳

Possibly evil, but whatever. If my OH "forgets" to empty the bins, or spends too long on his various gaming shite, I unleash my clumsy side and accidently knock the "off" switch on the router. Virgin Media router usually takes a good ten minutes to reset and start up the WiFi 🤣🤣

Not the most petty, but a guy was being really rude to me in a pub recently. Later that night in another pub I saw him trying to chat up this girl, I totally swooped in & ended up spending the night kissing her, in front of him. He was fuming 😇

There’s a manager quite high up in work with me who called yesterday morning about a particular query, didn’t give me a lot of information to resolve etc so I teams messaged him early yesterday morning after the call to ask for the persons name (his employee) and he completely ignored my message all day. He was green most of the day too. He’s just replied. So I’m going to make him wait until tomorrow morning to resolve it 😊 just to add he was quite rushed/blunt and borderline rude on the phone to me yesterday as if he was in a rush for an answer…

My downstairs neighbours are painfully loud, and I live in a flat block with multiple black bins outside (they are all communal), but for some reason said neighbours have labelled theirs. Guess where my rubbish goes every week 🤫

When I got married I told everyone I didn’t want any gifts money etc as attending was costing enough with outfits, hotel, travel etc but people were SO generous. My husband thinks it’s because we made a fuss about not wanting anything that people were more inclined to give. I absolutely detest the little poems in invites or a list of gifts.

I wasn't looking for an argument, then Cassie thought the best way to deal with it is to accuse me of victim blaming.

What you said is true in many different situations, sometimes we put up with bad doctors, hoping it will get better. We put up with bad service hoping it will improve.

It's not just women, many men face similar issues but won't speak out for fear of being ridiculed.

Having a bad service provider is very different to living with an abuser. I'm aware there are many men who put up with abuse (not sure i ever implied thay its just women). Maybe it's not these feminists you speak of who are offended by your comments but actually many people who have been subjected to this abuse. Also please let me tell you, if ever this happened to someone you know you very likely wont even be aware of it, this is how insidious it is. It is truly disgusting the way some people treat others but as I've said it's not always so easy to get away.

ETA - I knew someone who used to drop her worn stick on nails into her abusive husbands dinner. And the guy never noticed!

Not me but my old boss. She really hated her manager (who was the owner of the company) so she used to wash his coffee cup in the toilet water!! 🤮🤮
