Amid much cringe, we just watched. Lost count of how many times he stated "This is Janine's idea". I reckon 3 weeks in she'll stove his head in with a tyre jack.

well I didn't see this coming. I wonder what they were going to do, but this? Liam's 6ft 2in if I remember so how is he going to fit? He couldn't fit in their 1st van, let alone this. What a shower of shite!

Not going to watch it, so I have to ask, are they seriously claiming that this is their home where they live full-time? Have they still not come clean about owning/ renting a house where they've stayed since January?
It's good to see some of their minions finally starting to ask questions but Worzel and his sheep will call them trolls and block/ downvote them instantly.

Did they disclose any travel plans yet or will it be Tesco parking lots and service stations all over England again, just in a different vehicle?

PN59 USX - V5C last issued on 8th April 2024 - so they've been sniffing round this since February then. £210 a year car tax, 15 years old. Very chequered MOT history - at one point its clearly had welding done underneath or a heavy lick of Waxoyl.

I'm guessing an ex-motability wheelchair van as mileage is pretty low, clearly not loved or particularly well cared for - super budget tyres and some "horror" although minorish fails on the MOTs down the years. My ex-motability comes from the dangling fly lead in the boot - same as is used on bolt in winches on barely converted motability vans to charge Doris' lightweight shopping cart, thats wheeled down some folding ramp that isn't built in so as to not spoil the resale value.

I'm amused he mentions the timing belt - 18k would be nowt in timing belt usage life - the 15 year old side of it means - its either 5 years into a 'new' belt or its 5 years past due on the original belt - There's £500 or so discount straight away if I was buying it.

Notice that some poor sucker is getting the green skip of doom as they've managed to fool enough people to stump over their fivers or more!!

Nana's jacket either needs bleeping burning or a bleeping good fumigate - the arms when she turns are bloody minging.

Surely they're not living in that.

I mean maybe 10 years ago but shitting in a carrier bag constantly isn't cheap these days

They need to come clean about where they are living. The most hated YouTubers are the ones who aren’t authentic. Just be honest you pair of twats! People would respect you then.

There's not a single reason to conceal it either. All UK van lifers have a home base. Camper Vibe often showed their house in Kent until they sold it, Kinging it often showed the spare room at Craig's parents' house in Barry, Travel Beans made vlogs about getting a flat and moving in there. And these two wankers want to trick their weekly 60k viewers into believing they're living full-time in a tiny car where they can't even stand up in?

I guess they've succeeded in making us curious since we just watched their Berlingo ad. All I can think of now is that bloody awful tit-stained Superdry jacket Nanna had the nerve to wear even though I can smell it all the way from here. Honestly, has she had her thyroid checked recently...? As a successfully treated hypothyroid person it's painful to watch her in that puffer year round and I think I spot some myxedema on her face. She might look a good fifteen years younger if her health was better (speaking from experience here).

That van has to be a stunt. It's either leased or there has to be some way they can get rid of it by the end of summer.

Well that might explain how they think they can manage in that tiny thing; if Nanna is hypothyroid, she hardly poops these days and we all know all Worzel probably needs is a bush.

So much I could say but I really can’t be bothered to give them the energy at the moment. Other than please report that YT video as an undisclosed ad to the ASA, they should not be able to get away with that at all! Shilling the idea that living in a car for 18k is great, shameful. He couldn’t work out if he was bullshitting about the van being great or bullshitting about car camping being great.

Also since when did Berlingos get so expensive! We had a 2008 model in 2019-2021 which we paid £1400 for 😳, ran fine etc.

Reckon they're going to Spain. He said something like 'when we are off into Sp...... well we've got lots of ideas'.
That can't be their actual home can it? I think everyone is right and they're living somewhere permanent.

Where do the 18k come from? That car surely didn't cost anywhere near that much and the conversion from the dragon's den guy was gifted and an undeclared ad.

There is no physical way they can pack their lives into that car, you only have to look at the cars that pull up onto campsites for a week with the kids buried in belongings to know it’s not physically possible. I think this latest bad decision will ultimately lose them followers when they start smelling bullshit.

We watched - same as everyone above - just gobsmacked they seem to imply that this is their current living situation for the time being? They are essentially homeless the way they present it. The only saving grace would be if they are intending to hotel/hostel hop around Europe in the car and use the car sparingly as their camping system.
But yeah, no way he'll fit to sleep in that - no way she'll cope in anything but warm dry weather - they'll be in tescos and at service stations most of the time to use toilets and gym showers.
Also that's a 15 year old car with 18k miles which is a little worrying too - it's almost certain that they'll have some issue with that - I can only assume they are thinking when it breaks down, it'll be more easily repairable by a standard garage rather than needing a van specialist like they do with Morgan.
---
Oh and yeah what a poor financial decision too - another waste of money that they won't make a "profit" on when they inevitably sell it in 6 months.

Sister in law had a similarly converted Caddy - it lasted 3 weeks before the novelty wore off and she was only shits n giggles using it at weekends with her 'look at me' mates.

I reckon they got into that for about £10-12k, £15k at a massive push. As someone else has mentioned this was merely an massive undeclared ad for the Dragons Den geezer, so he'll have taken 'a loss' for the advert. I'm hoping they'll get bummed over by the BBC for copyright strikage as there's no way the scruffy twit will have garnered the relevant permissions to use several BBC clips regardless of the bloke being on the show.

The self fit kit in the spec they've gone for is £2k. So they've forked over £8k+ for a Berlingo that in the real world would be worth around £5-6k.

bleeping clueless muppets.

I'm more inclined to believe and wouldn't be surprised if its a summer/autumn 'loaner' which will go back as Nana hates it or he can't sleep in it - each time it appears in a video be ready for gratuitious mentions of the bloke off the telly's firm, and links in the description etc... all undeclared of course.

I got the £18k figure from the for sale signs on the other vehicles which had been converted, maybe they were newer models.

What the F! Firstly, didn't realise there was a new thread and I'm another who won't even hate watch anymore so thanks all for the hilarious updates. Also jaw hitting the floor at the tea being dished out by LTT, he really hasn't got over what they did him and clearly happy to dish the dirt. Worzel ought to be more careful who he pisses off really...
Laughing my socks off about the Berlingo. Where will their belongings go when they sleep? Nana won't tolerate having to have the boot open to make every cup of tea, she'll freeze! Also, not exactly discrete as you'll have to shift everything about every night to sleep, again to cook and again to drive anywhere.
Although gotta say we're on our second Berlingo. Both owned from 18 months to 10 yrs+ old and had no issues with either, until they eventually die but by then we'd long had the use out of them. Our current one is 12 years old and ex mobility.

Looking at the setup on the website, there's even less storage than you'd think:

Ford-Transit-Connect-LWB-Crew-Van-Micro-Camper-4.jpg

The vertical box is just the camping cooker and utensils

Vario-L-Micro-Camper-4.jpg

And the horizontal boxes are only 50% storage

Vario-Camper-Conversion-00030.jpg

Add to this that the table space is just left empty and you can only put things there with the bed set up

Vario-Camper-Conversion-00027.jpg

It also looks extremely uncomfortable with the thin cushions and the many parts where you're sleeping on multiple gaps

I just don't get it at all. The logistics. You wake up and can't stand up unless you go outside. And what if it is constantly raining. You literally have nowhere to stand up.
I think I hate the way living in a car is being pushed and normalised as an acceptable way of living tbh. It's not. It's just wierd. It plays into the hands of horrible people saying poor people can survive on very little.
