I know not gossip related but I visited Buckingham Palace last week and went around the palace inside, absolutely loved it.

I lived in Luxembourg and from what I locally heard the Duchess was a similar character to Charlene, as in she had 'security' every time she went back to Costa Rica just in case she decided never to return
Charlene always looks so unhappy. I think she's trapped, knowing that the twins (as children) would never be able to leave.

I’ll never forget the poor woman crying on her wedding day. There’s definitely something very strange about the whole set up there but I do really feel for her

Didnt it come out a few days before their wedding he had an affair or secret love child?

I am also confused about Charlene and Albert. Those were definitely not tears of joy, or her doctor really really botched her Botox (let’s not talk about the horrible lip filler). She almost always looks sad. But then- she had been with Albert for some time before the wedding. They were officially dating since 2006 but met in 2000 and were rumoured to be dating since 2005. That’s at least 5 years before they tied the knot. And she didn’t have to go through with it. She could always have said no. It’s Monaco and no one held her at gunpoint. At least that’s what I assume.

Smacks of her face being already on the tea towels.

I think women’s football has been pretty popular for some years now. And finally has grown enough to get public recognition. Ever since Kick it like Beckham was a huge hit. And this has now culminated in well developed female players. People underestimate how long it takes to develop young talents. To build a team full of star players you need a big pool of young players to choose from.
I actually don’t care if any royal is really passionate about anything. What matters is that they act the part. Convincingly. So if Charlotte is into football and the women’s team that’s great. But we do know for sure George is into football. I am sure he watched the games just as other boys. So why not include him? They shouldn’t start making things his or hers already. And the sad and sexist truth is- George can never outshine Charlotte. She is a Princess. We already know that, whoever he marries will be measured against her and there will be tons of contradicting stories about the sister she never had and icy feuds.
Funnily enough I watched Bend it Like Beckham a few weeks ago. It's still a great feel good film but it was very dated in aspects of it's depiction of women's football in the fact that back then, you really did need to go to the US (or similar) if you wanted a career which is really not the case now. It's really opened up as an option and it is a shame that the RF appear to be seeing it as more of a for girls thing rather than for anybody.

Wonder if there's any truth in this?

Swiss media have only quoted the article claiming that she's in Switzerland. No sightings and no "this is her house" kind of reporting. But they also never reported on her previous alleged stays beyond just stating that she's rumoured to be in the country.

Have a look at this Gem! While you don’t believe everything in the comments sometimes they are true and do come to light!!

Wasn’t she in this clinic in Switzerland? Maybe she still seeks treatment? What I don’t get is why she won’t leave Albert if their marriage is that crappy (and I agree that a child fathered while they were already together must have been a shock. And a good reason to call it quits. But even if she was escorted back to rethink her initial reaction- I still say no one forced her to actually marry Albert). She could still live in Monaco to stay close to the children. It’s hardly the first divorce in the family. Even the RF and divorcees have found a way to ensure that they are present in their children’s life. I wonder if a lot is made up drama while she actually suffers from severe health problems (mentally and/or physically)? Probably not helped by Albert’s cheating/indiscretions.

Hasn't Charlene got her own thread?
She does indeed - not hugely busy but over here if people want to join in

From what I've heard, a lot wouldn't be upset if she did. Didn't the Prime Minister have to be called in over the tantrum she unleashed on the staff before Princess Alexandra's wedding?

What did she do? I always imagine the kind of person who works for royals is prepared to put up with a lot. That was what I found so interesting about the stories about Megan and the way she treated her staff.

Got them in on a Sunday to work, screamed and shouted at them. There's been similar problems before - rumour has it that she's not adverse to aiming shoes at staff.

I think there’s a sliding scale … most putupwithable are the monarch and the direct heirs. Then possibly their other halves, but only if they keep in line. Then it’s down to blood family all the way … everyone else is expendable.

One imagines the pay scales similarly. The secrets of the monarch are worth paying staff very well for, as are those of the heir. With each step down from there, anything juicy or behaviour that's out of pocket might be worth more to a journalist than its secrecy is worth to the royals.
