It looks like this interview is going to be intense. What has it got to do with the American people though ?

Harry will have no family left after this interview, he certainly won’t be coming for his grandparents big birthday celebrations.

I loved Diana, but didn’t she complain about the media attention saying how the media hounded her continuous and she gave interviews of her own accord ? Harry wants to protect his own family from
the media he wants to save his MH, by this interview he’s just opened up more hate for him and Meghan, wherever they will be cameras will be there, UK, USA, or even easter island. The media hate and scrutiny won’t stop.

I just hope this doesn’t cause a problem for him and his grandparents, because if they passed without seeing him again that would be the saddest thing ever.

Harry is shooting himself in the foot very badly and who knows if him and Meghan will last? Will the royals accept him back with egg on his face? Surely a dignified silence would be the best way forward and all the Meghan haters would just gradually disappear and focus their venom on someone else.

I used to really like Megan Markle I thought wow this is great a woman of colour in the royal family this is great a for modern monarchy.

When the drama with her father came out i thought wow this woman is manipulative , she won’t like Kate because she knows Kate will queen one day and have a much bigger role.

I genuinely think Kate liked her and did try to do what she could.

I honestly think Meghan took him away from
his brothe. I think The bond William And Harry had Meghan was jealous of, and she wanted to be centre of attention and ruined that bond

Didn’t Harry love Kate as a sister ?

I am sure he adored his nephews and niece

William has always spoken about the media and how it treated his mother and didn’t want that to happen with his family.

William has very much protected his family in the right way and still stayed devoted to service.

Harry and Meghan have now thrown both Kate and William into more work and the extra strain on them because he couldn’t support his brother.

Now William and Kate will be getting more
Media scrutiny, Harry hasn’t thought about his brothers mental health has he and what he could end up doing to his brothers mental health.

If PP did die ( I really hope he make it to 100) Harry won’t be allowed to come back for the funeral, this interview will sever all ties with his family.

Harry is lucky he got to Marry the woman he loves The Queen could have said no, but she didn’t.

Princess Margaret couldn’t do that she put duty first and supported her sister regardless of how she felt. Harry gets what he wants his family took her in, invited her to Christmas breaking tradition and that was not good enough.

Very few people have any sympathy. You wanted privacy, you left the country to get it, that should be the end of it as you got what you wanted. They will be on Judge Rinder together next and then Meghan will be on Love Island paying homage to her past. If they are so happy why do they constantly harp on about unhappy they were. The only reason they are looking back is because that’s all they have to offer and it makes the money machine work. Disgraceful and extremely disrespectful to The Queen.

I think this is going to end very badly for Harry, because whatever he says is going to against him rather then for him.

I see sadness in William, he does miss his brother so much. Harry is the other link to his mother and I think that’s why William is hurt and angry by Harry’s actions.

I met William and Kate once and they are absolutely sweet and lovely people, Kate is absolutely stunning in person.

I got the chance to also meet MM along with my other work colleagues, we all was like wow she’s so fake , it was the fake smile and persona that got me.

I think Harry was fed up being second place, in fact he's even less than second place since Wills kids came along. Not that I think he wanted to be king but he felt a sense of entitlement to be more. Perhaps he really believed Meghan would elevate them both into the position of most popular Royals and we all know how that worked out. It would be interesting to get into the psychology of it all.

Has anyone seen what she’s wearing for the Oprah interview ? Black with white, same colours to what MJ and Diana wore when Bashir interviewed them. Umm does Meghan not realise she isn’t honouring Diana, she isn’t Diana.

Harry exploiting his mother’s legacy is what riles me up, the fact his brother has to go through hearing things again about what his mum went through and Harry cashing in from his dead mother no concern for his brother who also went through the same grief.

I can see the Duke coming out today or a bit more Information being released, it’s being a week since the last.

I have a feeling this might be a bit a damp squid this interview. Diana’s bashir moment was so huge because it was all so secretive until the program came out the day before if I recall.

Releasing these little titbits is just a bit meh, I can’t see Harry going into the dark depths of his relationship with a William and his dad etc. I can just see them having a pity party over their media treatment and a bit of indulgent nostalgia over his mum but I’d be surprised if much real meat comes out.

For everyone complaining about Harry protecting Megan - I think my back would be up if my wife was called vulgar, a porn star, wishing her and his unborn baby would die in childbirth, and their son was compared to a chimp while his very powerful family sat back and did nothing, not to mention throw them under the bus to protect a sex predator.

I think the brothers were bound to drift apart a little after Harry got married - he has his own family now and wants to concentrate on that now. As for the privacy thing I compare it to film stars or even the Royal family itself - they want to promote their charity endeavours and use their status for that but they want to have certain aspects of their private life, rightfully, private e.g - their home and son.

Although I will say this interview is not going to go how they want it no matter how well they come across....

That's interesting as I never got that impression. I always felt Harry resented the press and the British public for the over the top mawkish grief orgy after the death of his mum, and that's why he behaved as he did. Then he met Meghan and had a reason to act on his resentments.

William is as dull as dishwater. I know he will be a good little royal because of this. I do like the Royals though that cause waves, Margaret, Anne and Harry now after his behaviour  Got no interest in watching th interview though.

Re the privacy, they can’t have it that they say they want it yet trickle out personal information the whole time - mainly using omid scobie. Rather than privacy I’d say they want to control their narrative which unfortunately isn’t possible. Public figures are and should be held accountable for their actions.
Do they deserve harassment, no. Can they live a private life and only be seen for their causes, yes. Many famous people manage to stay out the papers unless it’s work related. With all the leaks around this pair it’s doubtful they want that though.

Yeah with the marriage thing of course they will drift apart, but it doesn’t mean they shouldn’t stop talking or fall out ?

It’s just the way they are going about it, he is using his mother for his new found fame.

William has managed to protect his family, he chooses what gets published and when, he also gets hate as does his kids and wife.. as a father and husband he doesn’t give into and took that control himself rather then being hounded by the media.

He saw what happend to his mother and he hates the media just as much as Harry and William would protect his brother , he wouldn’t say a bad word about him to the media.

I’ve always loved Harry the cheeky fun loving prince, but we know as soon as he Married Meghan she took control.

The Queen adores them both,if she didn’t want the marriage to happen she could have said no, she invited MM to Christmas before she married Harry, Kate never got that.

Charles walked Meghan down the aisle, his new daughter, they accepted her and yes we don’t know what went on behind the scenes, but maybe rather then make a song and dance about it they could have started there new lives with no bitterness which they could have succeeded in.

How is he cashing in on his mums death and making it difficult for William? Genuine question.

By giving interviews to Oprah talking about Diana and what she must have felt.
By going to Africa and re-enacting Diana's walk across the mine field etc and then giving an interview to ITV.

He got money for this, didn't he? The public is still interested in Diana, so media will pay him to talk about her because this will get them viewers.

To be fair I'd rather Harry talked about his mother and her legacy than the likes of Paul Burrell (as interesting as his titbits are) He is entitled to share his opinions on her, even if many people feel its misjudged. I wonder if they are trying to endear themselves to the American public and it could go either way. But on the other hand using his mothers popularity and untimely death to ingratiate himself and family into the hearts of the public could be seen as a cynical move. I'm not saying he is doing that, I'm just exploring that theory.
I don't believe its about charity work, somebody needs to change my mind.
