It's absolutely not his fault, but he knows the age of his grandparents, I don't see why he couldn't have waited a little while longer to give his interview. What is the point of the interview anyway? I'm still trying to work that out.

They, Meghan especially, doesn't feel she has been given 'her voice'. Why we all need to hear it I don't know, plus to me it feels like they never shut up. Compared to the other members of the royal family , we have heard more from Meghan and Harry than anyone else

This is the exact reason they left the UK, some people just like to bully them.

Kate was badly sick. And the argument isn't about working while pregnant, it's the fact they didn't work as royals for very long at all.

I think he craved a loving wife and family, he saw what his brother had. No one would begrudge him that after what he’s been through. I’m just not sure whether he is a calculated individual who knows exactly what he’s doing, or if he’s so blinded by love that his wife could manipulate him in any way and he’d go with it.

Hmmm...giving an interview to Oprah complaining about their treatment both by the media and potentially his family when his grandfather is seriously sick. I think that justifies any backlash. I wouldnt call it bullying.

It’s absolutely not Harry’s fault. Philip is a very old man, and quite frankly no one can live forever. Anyone who blames him for Philips poor health is seriously out of order. You can’t put your life on hold for others.

No, but wishing people would go after them because a very elderly man, who by all accounts is very sick and possibly dying is - I'm not saying their perfect but neither have a magic ball to predict any of this with PP. As I stated before they have been treated unfairly at times by the media and people online which they have every right to complain about - I'm sure if someone accused you of half the tit they write about them you would want to defend yourself

Let's not forget that the one unifying factor in all this is Meghan is always the wronged one. But she has done the exact same to Harry's family she did to her own- distanced them when they no longer serve her purpose.

Really? You are talking about a family that has a history with links to the nazi party, links to paedophilia, numerous affairs and divorces. An interview by Oprah is hardly rocking that boat.

I've always defended Harry & Meghan. Always had a soft spot for Harry and could never work out why Meghan got such an awful rep in the press. I appaulded them for leaving England and just thought they were a young couple who wanted to do things their own way but this Oprah thing just didn't sit right at all, all 2 hours of it. I genuinely thought they were going to move away and keep to themselves, let's face it he's a Prince, not like they'd ever want for anything or need to "work". I'm not sure asking for privacy while simultaneously doing a tell all with Oprah isn't a complete contradiction.
Also it looks very poor that this will air while the Duke of Edinburgh is ill in hospital. Just seen on the lunchtime news that he's been moved to a hospital that specialises in cardiac care. If he dies and their interview is 2 hours of Harry bashing his family I think the backlash will be biblical.

No, they won't - but as I said before people wishing that a man would die so they get hassled is bullying and they have to live their lives if they were waiting for the "right time" they'd be waiting forever. I'm not Megan's biggest fan and she's done some stuff that doesn't sit with me right (announcing her pregnancy at Eugenie's wedding was a HUGE one! ) but people's blind hatred for her sometimes is disgusting. That and if my sister and father acted they way her's does I wouldn't invite them either.

I wondered why I had this line from "Don't Speak" (by No Doubt) in my head: "I don't need your reasons.... Don't speak, I know what you are thinking and I don't need your reasons, don't tell me because it hurts.... lalallalala..."
Probably because I saw the announcement of the interview.

M and H made a huge mistake. They have no control over the interview now - not how it is reported on, not how it is advertised, now when and where it is screened, not who views it and the reviews produced by bloggers, YouTubers, Gary Zanetti etc.

I hope the DoE will get well and be able to leave hospital and celebrate turning 100, but the timing of this interview is effing unfortunate
