Apparently Charles is being allowed to visit - isn't that a bad sign? It's only allowed where I live for patients who are terminally ill.
Sadly my friends theory seems to be getting stronger. It’s sad but he’s had a long life at least.
I think Eugenie is one of the more attractive royals. Kate is quite stern looking these days.

I keep thinking if they knew he was in his last days and nothing could be done would they not send him home with the best care instead of keep him in hospital?
Its a private hospital so the rules maybe different from the NHS.
he's a very old man and they're the royal family and I imagine they would bend rules to suit them. In other words it doesn't necessarily mean it's the worst situation yet.
Prince Charles has arrived to see his father. I don’t see this as a good sign personally.
It will be interesting to see if any of the other family members arrive to see him.
At the jubilee in 2012, when he had to stand on that boat for ages, I like to imagine PP thought ‘duck this’ and pulled a sickie for the rest of that week.

Nope I take this as meaning the end is near. They wouldn’t announce it if they were just bending the rules surely? It’ll be a very different funeral than they’ve been planning for all these years if he does pass away. The opposite of what you’d expect for a royal in his position.
He doesn’t want a state funeral. It would be a private service regardless.

Are the royals usually able to do this kind of thing privately? Would it be that they’ve ok’d it for the press to report Charles showing up? I thought the royal family had quite a lot of control over that sort of thing but I could be wrong?
I was thinking the same. Surely there's a private entrance they could go through rather than the front door?
Yes they can. There’s a lot we don’t get to hear, we didn’t get told that William had Covid till much later. However where Philip is concerned they have always been very transparent.
Well if it is near the end maybe the queen has been to see him (and that has agreed to be kept out of the news)?
