One thing that really bugs me is when her ladyship had to do a fashion show when dresses arrive and all the twirling and Look at me look at me really makes my blood boil like she is so full of herself !

Having not watched for ages, and against my better judgement, I had a peek at the Gift Grab just now. And there was Fanny, modelling the amazing designer dresses sent in from an Aussie chap. You're right @RubyT Fanny did the obligatory twirls, and apart from one, they all bloody fitted paaaaaaaarfectly.
Swirling around she announced ‘we need to go on a holiday just to wear these dresses’.
Like when isn’t she ever NOT on one.

Im so thrilled you loved the dresses, I enjoyed choosing them for you with lots of magical places in mind to wear them. I think La Dolce Vita (scene from Under the Tuscan Sun) dancing in the fountain like the Fellini film. Now just some wide brimmed hats in black or white, ropes of pearls and stunning heels! Yes, she agrees that, as Tattle pointed out, one of the very few things she has done (but many years ago), was to make curtains but surely "100" is a bit of a hyperbole! PJ is gaining weight, it shows on his chubby little round face and it makes him look like a little eight year old!

Fanny’s only concern was the curtains clashed with the wallpaper??? What about the dreadful pink/ red table curtain or the torn wallcovering sagging off the walls in the bedroom? Fanny’s eyesight is going!!!

We won't talk about silk drapes in a wetroom, but the replacement drapes are the wrong shade of green and everything else in that bathroom/bedroom is mismatched. Get rid of that Venus statue, those damn white feathers and all the other crap sitting on the tub, window ledge!!!

The bathroom floor is discoloured and it's time for that 1980’s shower to be retiled.

Fanny if your project for the rest of the year is to stretch out redecorating Bonne Maman, yet again, so you have some film content, then for gawd sakes get rid of Daddy’s porno painting above the bed.

I am not a fan of wallpapered bathrooms. This was also done before she was spending other people's money for bathroom wallpaper? I doubt Lalande has proper bathroom ventilation. Who thinks the kidney shaped, ugly fabric draped vanity table with feathers is necessary? Have they ever hung a real mirror over the sink? Wallpaper on the right, tasteful, wallpaper on the left sad... Ok, I need to stop.

Fanny has definitely ADHD processing (and a ton of unprocessed trauma)

I seriously wondered to myself after the last video if she was just a little simple. There were a couple of times I really thought, hmmm. Maybe there is something actually kind of wrong with her mentally. Someone said she reminded them of a 10 year old who is given money, and that is true too. She just went on and on and on about how much she just loooooves listening to the frogs now. Which, ok…whatever, you weirdo. But then she repeated herself again when she was talking to Nick and his son about how much she loves hearing the frogs. Also, when she stopped and was just amazed by the two red tulips growing in the wild (HANDS OFF, KID 1!), and she can’t stop talking about the bluebells. The way she fixates on the small details in the toile, or in a wallpaper, or in the pattern on a plate. It’s more than a little strange. We can all appreciate beautiful items, decor and nature, and describe them in a way that an adult would. But she seems to fixate on the minutiae in such an odd and almost childish way…I don’t know. I’m definitely not defending her or trying to excuse her grifting. But it really did pop in my head that I think there is something a little wrong with her.

Good morning all. A good night last night, it was the footie cup final and the brasserie was packed. Sadly Nantes lost to Toulouse but we drank anyway. Have to say the Veuve de Lalande was very very nice, continued on with normal Rosé afterward. Ended up being a late one and have woken up with a hairdo the late Ken Dodd would be proud of.

I think the children were definitely hungry after dinner.

I don't get it- a big deal is made about making special dishes for Snorts (the non-paying leech "guest") and those with real dietary restrictions, but why could Maria not take a few extra minutes to ask the parents (paying guests) what the children liked and made something they would prefer (I get it- some parents prefer their children to eat the same thing adults are, but they are on holiday- why not indulge them a bit?) While the children were exceptionally polite and well-behaved, they looked absolutely miserable. It would have taken 5 minutes to make a few grilled cheese sandwiches to put on a side plate with some crisps, and they probably would have preferred an ice cream sundae or biscuits to the "potato turd".

I have 3 now young adults with ADHD ASD and BPD I would most deff she has some of this - one of mine is female who was only diagnosed last year at 21 a lifetime of masking which females are very good at …. The messiness / disorganisation / impulsive spending / procrastination a huge one all ring true to me …. It’s not an excuse I’ve told my “children” but it’s an explanation …. Life is certainly never dull and I can see this is Michael Petherik also …. They also seem to attack (or find ) like minded friends ….. having said that at her age Steph should have learned some coping strategies and how to put things in place !

We’ve conjectured that Fanny is narcissistic, or possibly has histrionic personality disorder, is manic depressive, has ADHD, etc. It’s possible she has one or a combination. Who knows for sure and I’m not an expert. But, as you said (and I agree)…it’s not an excuse. Fanny collects hundreds of thousands of dollars per year to supposedly restore her farmhouse, but the work we’ve seen in no way reflects the money collected. She is supposed to share an accounting of the financials but she hasn’t. ADHD, or whatever else, doesn’t excuse this. It might help explain some of her behavior, but it doesn’t excuse her accountability or responsibility.

Kudos to Michael, he used proper soil for planting. He is always very polite to thank his parents for their help. The quality video, editing, choice of music is always top notch. Loved how it featured his nephew helping, too. They did the cottage garden with local nursery stock not imported items or landscape architect from Belgium.Amazing, good job!

This was 'breakfast' before going to Emmaus that opens at 2pm. He's so far up his own arse now it's nauseating, the feeling of entitlement. What I'd like to know is would these guests be happy with this if they were staying in a hotel or another B&B and the host walks through stuffing his face, I bet the answer would be a no they'd complain big time.

By all means, come and great your guests and ensure breakfast service meets their needs, but it's completely unacceptable behaviour for a B&B host to stand there stuffing food in their face in front of the guests.

But sadly Fanny's paying guests are under the false impression that they're dear friends all living together in the shitoo and sharing meals & entertainment. These visitors are deluded into believing they're a welcome part of the false live, love, laugh narrative Fanny continues to perpetuate. These guests seem to forget they're paying dearly for the privilege of dining with Fanny & Snorty and sleeping in a unfinished room in a derelict building.

If Fanny bumped into these guests in an airport she probably wouldn't recognize them, and if she did, she'd quickly turn and walk the other way to avoid them. Fanny would be shocked and none to happy to discover they got upgraded too. Even better if they were already travelling first class and Fanny was stuck back in economy!

Cheap Stephanie‘s meager meals at the Dump are also appalling due to fact that she is charging full chateau type rates for a stay in a dilapidated, structurally unsound, generally dirty building, with spotty hot water, half finished rooms, and questionable hygiene issues in every area of the Dump. She does not want to interact with the guests, the guests only have a muddy pathway to walk thru the woods, a drained pond, and the guests are banned from most ares of the Dump (the grand salon,the terrace steps, the chapel, the stable areas, etc.). They will only see Fanny, at a guest meal. She will be out of sight or away from the Dump the rest of their visit. They will have the desolate “Jason Dubey”.experience as many of the B and B guests have experienced and will not see anyone except for a few minutes daily,

She overcharges for the meager meal portions and serves them cheap decanted mystery wine. Nutty weeds out people who are just traveling nd want to stay at a B and B, and only books out rooms to fans who will overlook the shabby farmhouse, not complain about the stay, allow themselves to be taped for a CD episode, can be counted on to provide gushing praise on camera, and hopefully will come loaded with wine, food, or gifts for the Shittelaine,

I think they also throw a lot of it into the garbage, if they cannot take it to Emmaus or use it in the B and B. Fanny must have received over 1,000 gifts by now. Where is the huge room at the Dump filled with all of her presents? Where did the dozens of china sets, hundreds of glasses, teacups, liquor glasses, etc. been stored? Are the dozens of fabrics she received crammed into the attic? She had pledged to frame many, many crafts, paintings, prints that she received. They were never seen again and she continued to buy paintings and artwork for the Dump.

We haven’t heard any talk of phi phi opening up his antique store at the Dump now that B and B season has started,

Because they are a sketchy bunch of grifters and don’t want to be held accountable or responsible for their comments and responses to comments. I think Stephanie reads all the comments after Phi Phi has deleted all the negative comments. She will occasionally comment under the official Chateau Diaries account. I think she and Phi phi use the Caroline Gooder accounts, Fanny also posts under the SGirl account.

Remember Fanny is all about never having to be accountable for anything….. the accounts, the state of the Dump, getting rid of Dump residents, confronting contractors, people, etc, She always hides behind another person or gets another person to do her dirty work. She can make all types of promises and declarations under the Gooder and SGirl accounts that push whatever lies or narratives to bolster her grifting agenda without putting herself personally in the line by doing it under the official CD account. It is all part of the smoke and mirrors scheme she hides behind to keep the money coming in. If her lips are moving and her fingers are typing, she is most likely lying, The same for the Douche Lord. They think viewers are too stupid to make the connection between Caroline Gooder and themselves.

She calls Potts the international man of mystery or some bullshit name like that. Fanny and her pals like to hide info about themselves, and create chaos and confusion about the truth. Fanny tonight comparing her work effort of passing Snorts wallpaper with Amaury's Herculean efforts is just insulting. She even watched him hoover, she literally does nothing and has to criticise everyones efforts. Tonight she made sure we all spotted that she wasn't calling the leaf a marigold. The meal was so meagre what an insult. The guests looked awkward. I have seen bigger gold fish than that piece of cod.


We are led to believe they are soooooooo busy but can go to the woods for a kip and the fact he has never seen the woods in full bloom speaks volumes about the pair of them. Tonight obviously vile garish garage flowers got mixed with the flowers from the woods as tattlers questioned the selection.

Tattlers mentioned the piano being out of tune ta dah the piano tuner has been. I would have thought a piano tuner would be harder to find in rural France than builders. The scenes of her running around in her sweaty clammy man made fibre pjs and 100 stars robs were shot at different times. Her skin kept changing in each shot. I find her absolutely repugnant these days, so unwholesome, unclean, and amoral.

I also wonder if she is like this way because I feel she is a high functioning alcoholic and I think the Beanie Baby wants her to be this way as she will depend on him immensely and he will be King of the Castle and Never Ever need to get a bloody job !!

Why her Mother does not try to get him out I do not know but , perhaps she has tried and failed . He is a Very Determined guy went he wants to be.

Does Fanny actually know how to properly swim? She has been very much anti pool and made no secret she’s not athletic. Have only ever seen her sunbathing by side of pool or floating around in an inflatable? Potty really wants a pool, not sure Baghdad cares and Fanny has always poo-poo’ed the idea. Fanny likes the lake pond because it’s romantic (rowing and picnics). What is the status of the lake pond? Surely they have word by now? Suspect they have word on many of the renovations, but no money to do them because the tax man cometh. If the lake is ever resurrected then probably they can forgo the pool. If there is a lake then there really is no excuse for Fanny not to renovate the tennis court.

I’ll save you the trouble of wondering. The exact date of completion for all Fanny’s renovations, restorations and repairs is the 12th of Never . All surveys, bids and project drawings have been filed in the round file for future reference.
