Perfectly said.
Tamara can’t style a look because 90% of her looks are a conjunction of “trends/it products” all put together with no sense of style whatsoever.
When people say Tamara knows a lot about fashion, I gush. Really...She runs from show to show without even sharing a true insight of what she saw
(“Omg, loved the show, I’m a big supporter of the brand, always love them”, bla bla bla). Obviously the fact that her background doesn’t come from fashion, doesn’t help. But she could improve and learn, however she doesn’t want to. She only does not know a thing about fashion, but also, she does not know how to “play with it” and being creative. A recent example: she lays all her BV shoes on the floor, takes a picture and adds to her IG account. Very creative indeed... the epitome of laziness.
Also, very important is that I find her a copycat. Leonie is her role model (and I don’t like the girl, her constant childish giggle bothers me, but as you said, she knows how to style a look and she is a trendsetting, that is why the big brands love her), she copies Viktoria Rader, Caro,Aimee Song and even ITF (to be fair they both copy each other).
tamara is now slowly embarking on the scandi style, but is falling miserably, because she simply doesn’t own the “je ne sais quoi” that most scandi girls have. She went to Copenhagen fashion week in January and failed to attend the big brands (except from Holzweiler if Im not mistaken), why?
Scandinavian brands can smell from the distance “fakes” and there is nothing in Tamara that represents their brands core.
I think Tamara believes that her followers are mostly clueless airheads with lots of money to waste that will catch her every word (of fashion/business wisdom). She fakes a laid back confidence, makes snark comments about other British influenzas in EVERY vlog, and blows smoke into her followers faces “hinting” on her high relevance in this industry, her remarkable work ethics, her hardworking approaches, her high profile friendships (“my friend Caro, here is a proof that she is ACTUALLY calling me”), etc. She is a great example of “fake it till you make it”.

God I’m bored with this girl and her vlogs, I don’t hate them, they’re just all so vapid.

my shoes, my hair, my perfume, my workout, cleaning my desk with yet more wipes, my hair, my shoes, my makeup, my hair, my clothes, cleaning my desk with more wipes....

yawn.

I think they all backed off because they are bit afraid of backlash if people, because lets be honest, there are two groups of followers today- the one that would love to see that- like you and other that would destroy her if she would do something like that and portrait her as being insensitive.
So, Tiktoks, banana bread, stay-at-home makeup, doing their nails is okay, but giving styling advice is a way to get backlash?
One of Russian stylists styles for a major fashion TV show and has recently offered her Insta followers to send her their looks for styling advice. Why wouldn’t Tamara do the same? I find it a wonderful idea, that will also help to grow engagement.
But I can answer my own question, and tell you why. Because it requires skill and effort. Something they all lack. All they can is to throw together what they received in one PR box and affiliate link it for profit.

Don’t get me wrong I would live to see that. I was actually suggesting to her , ling time ago, to do that. F.e. She could have gone through her friends wardrobe , re-style, re-wamp. It would be something I would live to watch also because it would include some mingle, engagement and effort. But she never dis it, her followers have sent me to watch some french blogger that does similar. When I suggested to do maybe develope some relationship with brand and follow process again I was referred by her followers to alexa Chung and so on.
to say again I just think most of them are scarred of reaction of followers.

Be careful, she might “steal” your idea and present it as her own, just like she did for vlogmas.
In October/November she asked what people wanted her to do for vlogmas. One person suggested she could travel to other countries to visit her “friends”. So she did... however in one of her vlogs, she did not only not credit the person who shared the idea, but had the guts to say something like: “so this year I had this wonderful idea to pay a visit to my friends abroad”.

btw, your suggestions are amazing!👏🏻

Another post, another ad (not disclosed and immensely photoshopped ), another haul coming up
To anyone that likes fashion and communication, please have a look at the live that Daniel Marks from The Communication Store did with BOF. In similar words he said: “if you are pushing products on your social media, that are not directly linked to gowns and masks for nurses and doctors, you have the wrong tone of voice”.
If If I were Tamara instead of helping her nephew to study, I would have a look at what the relevant voices in fashion are saying. The ones like her, Lydia, Amelia should just take a break if they only thing they can offer right now, is advertising to silly products that no one needs.

I wonder if they are even trying at all to do something, or to be precise to have different approach. I watched Naomi, and of course I don’t expect them to be her and bring these high profile stars, but if I was f.e. Tamara I would call her friend and manager Enrico and tape the “interview” like what is his opinion how will industry change, who will suffer the most and so many questions. Like real industry talk. Or she had some shoe designer friend- can’t follow all of them, or some designer she has good relation with. It can be Xenia. But all of them are just into showing things. That is all.

exactly this.
but as someone said before, this kind of content isn’t profitable . Tamara prefers to earn money trough those affiliated links, than actually do something relevant in the industry. She is not in this business because it is her passion, she is in this industry because it allows her to live the best lives of traveling and pretense luxury, and because it also allows her to make easy money.
one can arguee that she has very few real friendships in the business, despite how hard she tries to prove otherwise (absolutely agree), but surely she can start somewhere.
In the beauty industry for example I love what Alex Steinherr is doing: interviews with make up artists, facialists, beauty gurus, etc...

I’m surprised - I think this is first giveaway she ever did. I don’t think she ever made anything even with some cosmetic /make up brand, not to mention her personal things.

My personal theory is that she’s doing this giveaway to boost engagement and followers after the disastrous video she posted a few days ago about bags and shoes that she is no longer into. I watched about half of it and it was obvious she was having a bad day. She was using negative and harsh language like “rockstud shoes are totally out of style and unacceptable to wear” and “everyone has Gucci Marmont bags - they’re everywhere and I’m so over them”. She came across as really entitled and tone deaf and got a lot of backlash in the comments with people pointing out that as an influencer her job is to push brands or products and make them popular and she can’t then get irritated when people are influenced by her, buy the product and it’s no longer super exclusive. It also rubbed a lot of people the wrong way as regular people have to save and save to buy one bag or pair of shoes unlike the influenzas who get so much for free. I give Tamara credit for not deleting the comments like Lydia or Frow would have but it’s clear a lot of people unsubscribed and this bag giveaway is a way to make up the lost subscribers. I was surprised she made such a huge misstep honestly - she seems one of the more intelligent and savvy influenzas and anyone could have predicted that whining about being over a Designer bag from 2 years ago in this environment would end badly. Guess quarantine makes even smart people do dumb things!

That clicked in my head this morning when I realized how many comments she had- at this point above 6000. I guess it is to raise the general engagement and also as you said because of the mess she created.
Personally I don’t have any of those bags or shoes so I wasn’t upset 😂😂😂 and I also in one way understand what she was trying to say, but the problem is the way she said it- with all the facial expressions etc.

Those Bottega Veneta Cassette bags are the trashiest looking things. Like a kid playing weaving airline seatbelts when they're bored on a flight.

Everything she owns is all over Instagram. I do agree that Gucci is old news and out of style, but so will all the Bottega’s be in a matter of a few months. Nothing she owns is unique and classy. And I don’t get her obsession with Hermes Birkin and Kelly at all. Those bags are work bags for women in politics. They are in different leathers/colours to make plain formal outfits a bit more exciting. There is nothing fashionable about them. Pure functionality for a particular target audience. Tamara’s attempt at making them street style is a total failure. It’s mind blowing to me how she does not get it that only the mini versions her German friends own can look stylish and modern when carried by a young woman. But Tamara tries so hard to appear a well-off girlboss that she totally misses the mark when copying those Germans. She sees Mandy’s new mini Hermes, and thinks “I can do bigger”, which is totally wrong. And here she is with a huge, deformed, empty “politician” bag, that does not even suit her frame. Whereas, even though I generally do not get Hermes vibe, I do like how stylishly effortless Mandy looks with her mini’s.

The give away is a clear attempt to raise engagement. Her daily vlogs were a failure and her last YT was disastrous. People felt outrageous, and I understand why. She had the guts to say that she gets tired of a lot of her bags and shoes because she sees them all over social media. Tam Tam, wake up! you are part of the movement responsible for making all these items be all over social media. You try to shove down people's throat all these things, because you are paied to ,and also, so you can make some money! What a shallow and hypocrite person.
Then she tried to justify herself on the comments, and she did a even more terrible job, people are not stupid Tamara.

Regarding her Hermes “obsession “, like everything else, she loves the brand because her german “friends” have hermes bags. She gets obsessed with things not because she truly loves them but because other influencers do. She is a personality and style vacuum.
Btw: Mandy’s hermes collection is beautiful.

very honest question: why do you think she is intelligent and savvy? Until to this day, I just cannot picture it.She pretends to that is for sure, but in the end of the day, she seems no better then INTF or Lydia.

To be honest, before the lockdown happened I thought the same about her. But the last 3 months turned out to be such a missed opportunity for her. I’m astonished at how poorly she performed during this period. Empty mindless vlogs, boring “tutorials”, ignorant talks, random hauls of nothing to write home about. She could have done SO much better!
- 10 ways to style ***
- outfits that go both with heels and flats
- online subscriber makeover
- shopping my wardrobe
- day to night outfits
- how to incorporate vintage into modern wardrobe
- colours/patterns paring advice
- how to take care of expensive bags/shoes
- how to accessories not to overdo it
- 10 makeup looks with one pallette
- etc.
Turned out she is the same LAZY turd as Lydia and ITF. Without her “travelling” she has absolutely NOTHING to offer.
All she did during this lockdown was praising herself.

hi everybody! New here.
Im interested if anybody has any dirt on her “team” how does this work now? Has she fired everyone?
To be honest Tamara’s content during this period is what I like. She did a lot of lives, stories on abusive relationships, charities, many blog posts, and more videos than most of other girls. I think she is doing realy well, I dont mi d her pictures and home content isnt “too beggy” like ITF and LIDL

But what I have to say is HER FACE. Looks completely different I guess the lack of fillers over the last two months is very prominent. Ouch

Her friend Margarita Nazarenko's mother works for Hermes, no doubt she's using the connection to grow her collection.
