The highlight of the last thread was when someone came and claimed that they were Trent's scorned gay lover, not many were convinced but it was a good laugh.

I'll add my synopsis :giggle:

Last thread highlights -
We had a fleeting visit from T's alleged lover @theotherman - just long enough to raise suspicion and not long enough to provide any evidence
Simone gets a document sorter and uses it to create a 'To Sort' slot
Questions were raised about Asher's upcoming second birthday and whether Simone knows the actual date
We are excited to see whether Threads can start the unravelling of Sim with the ability to tag others (and assuming she can't block/delete like on her own page)
Still no outing in the NZ Media for the Pebbles settlement :(
S continues to prove she has no fashion sense and no photoshop skills to speak of
Did Maria and S unfriend each other over Maria getting accused of Simone-like behaviour and not denying the rumour?
S continues to respond to Tattle regularly, would have less than 50% of her content without us and 0% content without ads

They don’t need to be able to sit unassisted. It’s if they can’t hold themselves up in a seat. So slumped to the side or falls forward they’re not ready

This is, at the same time, both true and false. What Simone is saying here is that she did donate, and that she donated in her maiden name to the charities she mentioned. This is true. She did donate to these charities, in her maiden name. But these donations did not happen until after June 2020 when Simone was called out by some of her followers and by Pebbles Hooper and Makaia Carr.

This is part of the ’spin’ that was used to ‘cleanup’ the resulting damage to Simone’s reputation after the donations scandal broke. It still confuses people to this day. Makaia Carr’s legal statement proves without doubt that here were no donations before June 2020.

“”Spin”, in this sense, is a term to describe the art of controlling the communication of a message in a manner that presents a biased interpretation of events, which in turn is intended to manipulate public opinion.” Bruce Cotterill.

I also want to add that the amount of money Simone donated in June 2020 was in no way equivalent to the amount she pocketed in the four years her secondhand page on Facebook was in operation (before she took it down when the questions started being asked). She donated approximately $22,000 (or the rumour is that her family donated on her behalf, as she had spent the money on their house deposit, cars, and designer handbags) and she had sales of over $200,000 during that time (the figure of $200,000 is one provided by several sources).

Definitely, her tongue has been hanging out for one for a while. Then last week she was posting hints and questions about recommendations. Cue incoming partnership. Erin’s had one for a while, hasn’t she? That must stick in Simone’s craw.
