I really hope she doesn’t read the comments about their child’s name sounding like “rape”. It doesn’t matter what we think of the name, clearly her and Chris love his name.

I just think it’s immature tbh. My aunties name is “Lou” but I don’t think of poo every time I see her.

My mind is FUCKING BLOWN my these name comments 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Like totally fucking blown. I’ve seen some weird shit on here, people reaching and picking for problems where there are none (that happens when you don’t like someone - no judgement) but this whole Rafe / Rape thing?! Insane!!!

Woh guys... let’s stop looking for problems! Completely gives people the right to call us trolls. Some of thesecomments are not constructive and unnecessarily unkind.

The worst part about my caesarean recovery was the morphine pessary turned my poos to solid white chalky rocks which I then had to manually remove from myself. There we go. I win. I, at 3 days postpartum, picked my own shit out of my own arse. I am queen of both Mumsnet and anti-Mumsnet now everyone can move on.

Drives me insane when new mums complain about being tired though less than a week in! 🤯
I mean.. she’s had major abdominal surgery.. and is caring for a newborn.. and seems to be expressing which is a 3 hourly job..

I honestly do not understand “tired” policing. Utterly bizarre.

I never drank alcohol when I breastfed, was very mindful that everything I consumed was also going into my babies but each to there own. Sometimes a glass of something helps you fight another day when things get tough !

Lovely to see the 2 brothers together...thought Robin looked a tad uncomfortable though and he is soo aware of the camera now.
Breastmilk is made from your blood so you would have to be dead from alcohol poisoning for your breastmilk to contain any significant alcohol. Its not advisable to get drunk and feed your baby in case you fall asleep/drop baby etc. But its fine to enjoy a drink and breastfeed. I fed mine for 18 months and 2 years (first and second baby).

Can we steer clear of the breastfeeding shit?

Hopefully she's feeding the bairn 🤪🙄 that's all that matters, Christ... why are peoplenso obsessed with how someone elses child is fed. I personally don't give a fuck. And yes- I did breastfeed.

So many armchair experts. She’s had a baby before that’s turned out just fine, I’m sure she knows what’s she’s doing. As someone above said no wonder we all get labelled as bullies and trolls on here. The other day it was picking at her babies name and now an endless debate on how she holds HER baby. So boring

I wasn’t aware tattle had so many of the obnoxious ‘I do the right things as a mother’ brigade. It’s so fucking boring and makes you look like right tits. I can’t believe the breastfeeding/baby holding chatter. Jesus.

She seems so much happier now the baby is here. Just a theory but perhaps she was more anxious about pregnancy after loss than she let on and it manifested itself with her moaning about other things instead.

It was a pronounciation question and that's what the name reminds me of. Absolutely nothing to do with the baby whatsoever. I can't hear "Rafe" without hearing "rape". No need for the sensitivity.
NOT being sensitive, not a word to be associated with a baby. Rafe as in safe 🤷🏻‍♀️

Also if people assume she’s not breastfeeding because she wants to drink that’s probably not true either. Proud wine guzzling breastfeeding mama here. Mum and baby continue to thrive 🤣

Maybe she doesnt want to breast feed? I didn't have any issues (not that I would know as I didn't try) I just didn't want to do it.

Happy her baby arrives safe and well. Not a fan of the name choice at all. Is it pronounced like rape with an f?
of all the words you could think to use to work out how to pronounce the name (unsure as to why you are struggling with it to be honest, it’s not difficult) you use rape?? Very odd.

She was fully in control of the baby the whole time, he was supported on her shoulder and not in any danger at all.
One of the first skills you learn as a mum is how to hold a baby in one hand and a phone/cup of tea/muslin cloth/biscuits in the other! Multitasking at its finest.

What have I started 🤣 to clarify I enjoy a few glasses of wine every weekend or so while breastfeeding. I was told by both midwife and breastfeeding consultant this is fine. I have a lot of frozen milk which I can’t eventually donate due to drinking (I mean who even tracks the times etc when pumping, it’s bloody boring enough!) which is a downside. I eat all sorts and luckily for me it’s never impacted my daughter but I know plenty of people who’ve cut all sorts from their diet in order to have a successful feeding journey.

To get even more controversial I still enjoy my morning coffee and DUN DUN DUNNNNN the occasional fag on a Friday night 🤣

Anyway congrats to Rosie, Chris and family. She’s still a bit of a twat but babies are a lovely blessing.
