yeh I remember that but then I also remember rose doing a fundraiser with cakes in some cafe for a domestic violence charity. as someone who has worked in this area it is very unusual for people who have not been victims of it to get involved in this area... so who knows. what is clear is that she is very much not over this relationship (ie the lifestyle it gave her)

It’s not profound at all. She’s basically regurgitated (in a wordy and convoluted way) the concept of the “illusion of choice.” This is so cliche. Also crazy hypocritical of her to preach about political activism when she has done absolutely nothing. What she is displaying is “performative activism” trying to convey altruistic principles but it’s really for self gain and monetary gain from her ads.
