Could she ask a neighbour/friend to help with the fridge storage until it is sorted?

She describes in detail normal life. Ovens break. Children are annoying. You have to make decisions according to your finances. Every single person has worries and problems. She seems to think she has the monopoly on this. Then as an afterthought throws in a statistic about poverty in general as if her moan is a public service.

I'm confused about how this was supposed to be the kids' fault. They broke an oven by turning it on so it heated up? The thing that ovens are designed to do? There will be extended consequences 😤

20 TWEETS?! This happened to me, nobody heard about it, bought that new part and watched a YouTube video. It’s not that deep, and it’s crappy putting it on the kids as heating elements go on ovens. It might have happened when she turned the bloody thing on.

It's so upsetting how she seems to blame her kids for so much. I dread to think how she is with them when not performativity tweeting her woes, or how they'll feel when they stumble across her posts.

I lived in a flat for 3 years, the flat was so small we had to chose between owning a tumble dryer or a cooker. With 4 children and 2 adults in the flat we needed the tumble dryer more due to no garden and no washing line.
So we made do with a slow cooker and an air fryer. For 6 of us. Its doable. I didnt moan publicly or scream and claw about poverty (we are poor) I just made the best with what we had at the time and GOT ON WITH IT. To say rsm is poor and living in poverty (with a constant supply of donations thrown at her) she doesnt half expect a certain standard of living and ensures that begging bowl is regularly topped up

This is one of many things about the thread I don't understand. Why did she say it was their fault, then say they did everything correctly?
Also... Couldn't she use the slow cooker for the reduced supermarket stuff? Or freeze it? I get it's a pain if she planned to cook oven food from it this weekend but she's making out like it's going to go to waste

When I was still living at home our oven broke, the door wouldn't stay shut. My mum used to put the sweeping brush up against it, wedged in with the tool box until she could afford a new second hand one. We weren't living in poverty, just working class. Our boiler broke and my dad couldn't fix it, we had to wait until payday to get it sorted. We had a leaking radiator, we put a pot under it until we could get it sorted. While I was growing up my parents didn't have loads of money to spare, they were just getting by, I don't recall them ever poor mouthing like this and they are both committed socialists

I'm not trying to derail but anyone would think going by rsm tweets that being on benefits is the only way you can have duck all. Ironic really that many 2 parent households that work actually live on far less than those single parents on benefits. Not including a disability premium. She is a fantasist and needs to look at the real world. How loud and tiresome it must be to actually know her irl

oven is working, praise beans. children and the oven itself are still under suspicion

honestly, at this point, I'd have more respect for her if she just flat out said "gimme money!! want money!"

Bizarre, is this not just life tho? Like my non frost freezer is frozen to tit can’t get the top drawer open don’t have time/energy to defrost, my brand new shower decides whether or not it’ll let me turn it off daily, and my husband ran over some brickwork on the drive so that’s fucked. Something else will probably break before the year is out, living is truly a never ending expense 🤷🏻‍♀️

My sympathy is non existent. At the beginning of August she was sharing pictures of fancy gin. Reader, she bought it. It’s not the first time either.

I am definitely not saying we can’t treat ourselves when times are tough. I might be holding back on buying bottles of gin though, if a £3 bag of semi-gone off shopping from a food waste app is all that lies between my kids getting fed, and my kids going hungry.

Also - ultra processed food elimination going well then? twit.

When we were short of money and cycling to work because we couldn’t afford bus fares no way would we have paid £11 for a gin liqueur We had to pare our spending down

I agree it isn’t about not being allowed nice things but if money is that tight you don’t in my experience buy gin liqueur when £3 is an issue you just don’t

In other words because a tenner on a part that the dad can fix hasnt brought in the cash as expected she must up the issue and now the cooker MUST go. Oh do duck off. If it works it works. Imagine being that much of a gobshite you get fake upset and outraged about 3 quid for a food parcel bag you need because your so poor, then post pics of bleeping overpriced gin.

For avoidance of doubt, r.e. I can’t afford to lose £3 but I can afford £11 flavoured gin.

And, little miss “I ONLY have universal credit coming in - how DARE the council ask for bank statements so they can judge me for going to McDonald’s” - also flapping about the cuts to UC for self employed people - of which she now admits she is.

PS - gin bought after the dramatic proclamation of being the best budgeteer in the world and still struggling because the Tories are bastards.

Her repeating 'every £3 counts' sounds like a Comic Relief or Children in Need presenter. And her 'we'll be ok' sounds like false modesty employed to garner the PayPal Crew.

Who TF are the 'check your account' crew, anyway. Can't they find a registered charity to support or volunteer for?

Also - can I ask please, does anyone else have what type of shampoo they use listed on their bank statements? Asking for a grifter (with money coming in that she would rather a local authority paying LHA isn’t too aware of - allegedly!)

Wouldn't it just say for eg 'Boots the Chemist'? It doesn't specify the purchase does it?
I love the way someone suggested blacking out the details and later she regurgitates it as if it were her idea 😂
