Sorry to anyone that likes it, but I really don’t like the name Romy. If that is what she has picked, I really thought she would go for something super feminine as baby has to be as girly as possible, god forbid someone might think she’s not a girl! I don’t really like names that sound like nicknames. Maybe I’m just picky

Totally off topic but only just realised that Woody was born in September 2017, he's had no full days or weeks at nursery and will be the eldest in his class at 5 yrs old,

My girl’s a few days older than Woody. We had a meeting with her teacher today, as she’ll be starting school in August (we’re in Scotland). The teacher spoke about encouraging a growth mindset in terms of her learning. Imagine trying to talk to Rebecca about this? 
The poor kid is going to be lost in September when he starts school. He won’t know any of the other kids, won’t know the school environment, won’t be used to mixing with other kids, won’t be used to sitting down to eat his lunch with other kids, won’t be used to going to the toilet in that environment (it’s a wonder if he’s even toilet trained) he’s going to be on the back foot with his learning - I know it’s not structured in nursery but they do start to learn numbers/letters and are encouraged to use pencils, write their own name, draw etc
woody has had none of that. None. They have deliberately kept him out of nursery through nothing but absolute laziness on their part. He should have been going the nursery full time this past school year.

Wow ok I didn't realise Woody and my son were so close in age. He's the youngest in his year but he's thriving at school. He's just been telling me about the role of chlorophyll today and the water cycle and he boggles me every day with what he knows. She's holding those boys back and it's borderline cruelty.
I feel like she’s learnt a little bit with packing for the kids it was a decent amount to take luckily they don’t need to share tops this time. Hope she packed pjs for them

I don’t think 7 is unacceptable for Woody. But I don’t think Alfie needs to be going to bed at the same time. One at 7 and the other at 8 would be fine
