I figured I'd watch his new channel update video since I haven't watched him in a while
-He was gonna go to Magic Kingdom to show the crowds but couldn't find the motivation
-24 is one of his favorite numbers so next year is going to be big for him
-He's dropping down to the lowest tier of Disney's annual pass because he doesn't feel like he needs to be there on weekends
-He'll be focusing heavily on cruising next year
-He said he calls out Disney because he feels like they need to be held accountable and even implied that they've changed things based on his complaints
-He's going to be uploading all of his lifestyle content to a second channel called JustDev. He's toyed with the idea of daily vlogging on there but doesn't think he's cut out for daily vlogging

My takeaway is that he took his channel for granted and now he wants to be serious about it, but he's doing it at a time where all of the Disney vlogger channels are trending downwards. It's probably going to be too little too late.

LOL, yes Dev, there are people in the Disney offices who have watched your videos and made specific changes based on the criticisms you levied in said videos. What a clown this guy is. Pure Clown Dev.
So in short, it sounds like he wants to have a successful vlogging career, but doesn't really feel like working. Cool.
He definitely seems to be doubling down on youtube which I wasn't expecting. It'll be interesting to see what happens with the second channel because posting all of the lifestyle/fitness/Tesla content to a channel with a fraction of the subscribers is going to be more work for a much smaller return. He finally accepted that the theme park people don't want to see it but that doesn't mean he'll just be able to build a whole separate audience from scratch.
He's not interesting enough for a separate lifestyle channel about him. People tune in for the theme park content. It could be anyone publishing and they would get the same number of subs if they maintained the same level of uploads. I've seen a number of channels in other niches try to do separate channels and then they quit quickly because no one watches and the revenue isn't there because of the low views. He would be better to just keep posting it on the PC channel and understand that those who tune in for theme parks will skip it.
I used to really enjoy Dev's content so deep down I always hope he figures himself out, but he never does. I really don't think Dev has the patience to grow a new channel. He can barely handle his original one. Maybe he will prove me wrong. Time will tell.
It definitely seems like he's winding down on the theme park channel but to have a 2nd channel you have to be good at it & interesting. The last time I checked this crash a ronney snoozfeast is neither. I do hope he just gets a job as a PT& doesn't draw everything else out. This bollard says he's 30 next is that 30 years or months? I dunno. We as a group still have a job to do bringing him down. I'm confident 2024 will be the year guys. & You can't take anything interesting out of his videos & he's doing so badly I bet if I set up a YouTube channel on what I find interesting I will get more people watching because id make them more informative& id never take viewers for granted. He also doesn't seem to understand that lifestyle & theme parks are 2 different things & people will skip what there not interested in. If it were me with a channel I have 3 areas I'm interested in that are different but id accept people skipping videos on things that don't interest them& instead of drawing everything out id take feedback on board & if videos on certain topics weren't doing good id actually stop them rather than spin that everyone loves them (Dev seems to think everyone loves him) so those are th differences between me& him id be grateful, make it informative & take feedback on. & Every time Dev tries to get out of a hole he just digs himself a bigger one & whereas he just moans about everything. I wouldn't & always would look at what I have rather than what I don't

Like you said, Dev thinks people are watching for HIM. Yes, there are probably some that do, but the numbers show that most of his subscribers don’t. His subscribers want Disney. They love Disney. He hurt himself by going overly negative because that’s not the tone his channel was built on.
Yeah I agree with a lot of this. He's getting too big for his ego& forgetting the foundations that got him there& gone all negative on those foundation. Anyone who has a channel & is negative constantly ain't gonna get new people running in. Also at the time of writing his new channel has just under 4500 people that won't become 155k overnight
Ah, I didn't know the new channel was up already. 4500 is pretty good for being new, but that doesn't mean people will watch.

It seems to be a trend. I've seen other cruise vloggers do similar. They do a series and then a little while later mash it all together and make one big 2 hour video. Takes little effort and maybe you pick up a few extra views
