Also in the interview he said something like ‘I will not be pleased until they have searched all the buildings’ which I found a funny choice of words to use and felt he was the kind of person who liked to be in control.

As each day goes past I am finding it more and more unlikely that there will ever be a resolution to this disappearance
yes my thoughts to! he could be controlling, Im sure he used the words "I want" in relation to wanting the buildings searched,

I don't know why this is in my head tonight, and I apologise if its been covered previously, but after reading the (absolutely amazing) recap 👏 -

I would really like to know where the 9.30am phone finder went and if that appointment was verified
And
Where the daughter in law that took the call was from her taking the call until 10.50am

🤔
Yes this really bothers me too seems such odd behavior.

Is Paul's alibi / story of his movements that morning 100% confirmed to be accurate and definitely rules him out of any foul play?

I think I’ve missed that, when did she do this?
---

Yes this is weird for me too. There are always peak times at popular walking routes but to see no one seems a bit unusual.
Of course it’s possible that the police do have witnesses but haven’t stated this because it doesn’t actually add anything to the overall picture - just confirms that they were there which we know.
---

To be clear it’s a hotel / venue that Emma works at, not her home.

I don’t personally think it’s odd it wasn’t done in Paul’s house - imagine how that would be for the girls? They should have things as calm and normal as possible at home right now.
---

Oh so they own it? I didn’t realise that.
---

The number was most likely Nicola’s - and they had her phone
I also am confused by the staying over her Parents house but?
As far as I understand E owns the venue
---

I just don’t understand If she chose to leave why she would leave the dog unsecured. You’d think she’d have at least tied her to the bench 😔
So it looked like an accident?

My gut feeling is that he knows of a reason that could have made her leave him or suicidal. That doesn’t necessarily mean that either of those things happened (the most likely option is still accidental drowning after falling into the river), but his words and body language and actions suggest that he has good reason to suspect something else and that he has those suspicions because of his own actions. She could have fallen into the water AND their relationship could be abusive or he could have been cheating on her or whatever - the two things aren’t mutually exclusive. So we could have the situation where her disappearance and death has been a complete accident which has coincidentally happened around the time when their relationship was particularly bad. That could account for his strange manner and the things that he has said.
This is an important point. . Rivers can be dangerous places.

One of those two men were also seen the same morning of the disappearance
I haven't seen that quoted anywhere. :) Like I said the police haven't asked for people to look out for this person. If it becomes significant then they might, but this is weeks on now. If they have a lead they need to act fast.

, I don’t have a dog - would it be easy for a dog to get out of its harness? A lot of people have said that she wouldn’t leave the dog unharnessed, which makes sense to me if she did leave through choice but I wondered if she maybe did secure her and she got free somehow. Or would that be impossible in the short timeframe ?

(and I do try and keep up / read top posts of prev threads so I’m sorry if this has been discussed already 🙆🏽‍♀️🙆🏽‍♀️)
No, it looks like it goes under the chest and another section which clips together under chest/tummy behind front legs, then with another part over her back.

It’d be really difficult (I’d say impossible but nothing’s impossible) for a dog to get out of, even if the clip wasn’t secured.

ETA link to previous post NOT to say it’s been discussed before but to show the photos @pommynoir xx

Although to be fair the Police and their search teams aren’t promoting/selling themselves on TV and SM and criticising others as PF has been doing, they’re just quietly doing their job.
It seems that some think that river search team are the same detectives that are working on other lines of enquiry too. Some specialised little police people we have in this country

If you fabricate a crime that has police and their resources busy for a fortnight, that is wasting police time, surely. Mind you, I am not sure that’s what’s happening here!
Leaving home unannounced isn’t a crime. How other people react after the fact is not on the person who disappeared.

I’ve just had a thought (dangerous, I know)

Why is everyone saying that the Rowanwater broken CCTV ‘would have captured everything’ if it was working?

How would it? It’s (yellow) too far away from the bench (4) surely?

It’s been reported that he was there immediately after string lady (almost simultaneously) and he saw the phone on the ground 2ft from the bench
my partner said the same thing!

It’s getting stranger and stranger. 🤔

I thought they’d be releasing balloons next but I was wrong, it’s ribbons tied to railings.

With those words it’s as if they are trying to guilt trip her into making contact but constantly being on the news.
I don’t know what to think anymore.

I was so certain last week that it was just a sad accident but now I’m thinking she may well have chosen to leave.

Perhaps she thought she’d teach them all a lesson, go away for a few days, never expecting it to blow up like this. That’s why they are adamant she’s not in the water.
There is definitely a reason the family maintain that she is 100% not in the water whereas we all say none of us can say 100% what happened.
perhaps she thought she'd teach them a lesson and go away for a few days, never expecting it to blow up like this. just wow! as for the Family
are you including her Parents and Sister, am I right in thinking we haven't heard what they think now they might have changed in there thinking, we are only hearing from Paul and what he thinks and alsofrom female's he has elected as spokespeople
---

If there was anything to indicate she may have just left, wouldn’t the police appeal for her to get in contact with them? I haven’t seen that so it doesn’t feel like they believe it’s a possibility - probably because she’s not seen on any camera/dash cam or by anyone else?

One thing that stops me thinking she’s just left him is she had her whole world in that car an hour before - both her children and her dog, why not just drive and keep driving until you were somewhere safe?
yes I get you!

Was there any need for that? A dummy in water can help show time through a current? There’s no need for you to be pedantic about me asking a simple question
I actually do sometimes so that. If I can't find something. I do drop something else similar and see where it goes.
