I believe with nipple shields it is quite common for them to take in a wee bit of extra air, which is a shame as obviously you can’t just go without them. While I don’t wish to tar every health visitor with the same brush, I’ve never yet met one who would be qualified enough to rely on for a proper breastfeeding assessment. If you’re willing, definitely get a bf consultant out because they will be able to give you the specialist help you need xYeah she is showing signs of reflux, I'm still having to use nipple shields because of her tongue tie but the health visitor checked my latch and said it was fine. Thinking of getting a bf consultant to check before I give up completely
I've to see if this works and if not then they will explore the cmpa avenue
