It is not easy to find old stories about here as there are about 12 a day but her existing mortgage was 1M plus and I am not sure if she also had a 2nd charge on there also

the 500 thousand is just the arrers for the mortgage that she owes the mortgage company(not included in her bankruptcy because the house does not belong to her until she as paid it in full the lender can take it back and sell it to recover cost a house is only included in a bankruptcy if it is fully paid or if they can force you to sell it and make a profit so you can pay the mortgage company and have money left to put towards your debts she owes 3million in her bankruptcy to other creditors
