Me being creepy and touching bae’s shirt in the dressing room.

Players just entered and I TOUCHED BAE’s HAND!! He is so tall and slender and perfect!

I am shitting myself!

Also touched hands with:
—Pep
—Jack (his hand was so soft)
—Kyle (he made full on hand contact with me)
—Riyad
—Ederson
—Ake
—Gundo
—KDB

Happy new year everyone.

Just want to say, am so glad I found you. Obviously for all the bae-perving but even more importantly than that, this little community of sweet funny perverts means so much to me. Thank you for putting up with me being a nut job.

@strawberrysunshine_x your holiday looks amazing and is making me miss the lakes. Hope you're having the fabbest time.

@Just Drive I can't believe you touched bae. This is monumental. What a day.

might have got a bit disowned by my mother.

Am in my childhood bed because nobody was sober enough to drive me home.

But she doesn't want to see me again. This might be it.

Can't let myself feel anything about this because I'm not home and safe and alone. But fuck.

Bae’s seat is still a shambles. Everyone else’s is normal.

The PL symbol on City’s shirts are gold and all other PL clubs are silver. Why? Because we’re the reigning PL champions.

Countdown sheet from the Everton game. Posted in the home and away dressing rooms. When I was here in July, the countdown sheet from the last game of the season (the heart-attack inducing Villa game) was still posted like a ghostly artifact.

Tony Walsh’s famous poem about Manchester. It was Pep’s idea to have it painted on the wall of the warm up room after the 2017 bombing. The line “some are born here, some drawn here…” is painted on the wall of the dressing room.

In the summer, there was a black and white painting on the wall of Bert Trautmann’s infamous broken neck moment that was meant to humorously remind the players on the tables that their injury could always be worse. But that mural was replaced by this one, group hug with Kevin et al.

The away changing room. The largest away dressing room in the Prem. Those shirts are just displays that get taken down before matches. They’re shirts of some notable visiting players who once played at the Etihad. Messi, Rooney, Mbappe, Bale, Vardy (haha), ba and others.

The buzzer that announces to the players when to get their arses out of the dressing room. If they deviate from the times on that countdown sheet by more than 40 seconds, they get fined because it messes up the schedule and sponsors get pissed off. The buzzer also flashes in case players have head phones on and don’t hear the buzzing.

One of my favorite things is the gorgeous mural of past and present City legends. There are little inside jokes hidden everywhere.

Last time, I showed you the cheeky slice of cake next to Yaya’s image. This time, I noticed 17 year old Micah Richards who famously cursed in his very first interview. His mother told him she’ll wash his mouth out with soap. :) Look what’s in his hand and on the floor is the crumpled soap wrapper.

I also noticed Balotelli’s “Why Always Me” shirt. The bag says “Chappy” in honor of City’s legendary old kit man who kept nixing Balotelli’s choice of shirts until finally relenting with the “Why Always Me” one.

Right, hello, I'm home now. As promised, pictures under the spoiler.

I can't believe this is so close to my house. Bought an annual pass so I can go and see the way everything changes through the year.

Beautiful lake and gardens and meadows and woodland. There's fairies everywhere, I couldn't help but take pictures of some of them.

The trellis walk, which looks quite bare at the moment but is planted with roses and wisteria so when they flower it will be gorgeous:

A copy of Cellini's Perseus with the head of Medusa (not a great picture of the statue which is very impressive, but I was looking more at the lake and sky here):

A goose:

Feeling quite fairyish myself in today's colour scheme:

While walking I had an ice cream. Not really the weather for it but rude not to when such lovely ice cream is available. Rum and raisin, which I suspect will be a controversial choice:
IMG_20230102_132620.jpg

Then after I'd walked enough in nature, I went for a potter around the little shops. Bought a book (Marian Keyes hardback, £8, can't complain) and a reed diffuser (pear, jasmine and vanilla, I'm going to put it in my dining room).

And when my legs were fully exhausted, I sat down and had a pot of tea and a bakewell tartlet. Very nice:

I also saw dozens of beautiful dogs but I didn't take pictures of them as it would have felt rude.

You WOULD??😦

What a view 🤤
OMG!!!! I’ve only just seen this!!! WOULDNT
I’d like to reiterate that I WOULDNT want to shake kyles hand after he’s had it down his pants. It’s debatable if I’d want to shake Kyle's hand at any time, he seems to have debatable hygiene

RLF has eaten his buffet before I got chance to take a pic. There was tuna& cucumber and ham sandwiches. Veg pizza, Indian snacks ( bhajis pakora something else don’t even know what. etc ) bowl of crisps , salad .. coleslaw , beetroot salad , humus & then dessert platter , carrot cake , lemon cheesecake , choc truffles , strawberries , party rings and choc jammy dodgers. Then the alcohol section vodka & coke & a few beers. All vegan just for the two of us 😂😂😂I kinda went a bit over board. He was whining this morning saying no one ever makes effort for his birthday ( January baby problems )

I’m sure my RLF only gets me presents when he’s shagging @Violetroselily - hope your fella isn't under her spell too

City are great to watch. It’s annoying 😂
Those are fantastic! That @Violetroselily is quite the vixen, isn’t she??

Yes I also have a soft spot for Rashford. Love he has his mojo back. Also, I am sorry to say this but English PL better when UTD are on it. As much as I have loved the soap opera of last few years..would not say the same about the Pool at all 😬

I also had a soft spot for ole gunnar solskjar and hated how utd fans were twats to him. Loved his Norwegian Mancunian mashup accent. Like I love Ruben Dias Manc/ Portuguese twang.
DCLis out again?
Ruben’s Manc-flavored Portuguese accent makes me feel things. 🥵 That voice is a panty-dropper.

You should definately do HP tour - I have done it more than once and it’s amazing!
Hope you’re feeling abit better now?

So glad you’ve had an amazing time and you got to see this in real life
