Those poor kids are going to grow up with so many issues around body image, food and exercise. My parents were militant about healthy eating and exercise and I've struggled with binge eating disorder for decades. Really weird to be taking your 4 year old for a run when he even admitted Marley hated it the first time. Just let them be kids and roam around the garden to burn off some steam?

My little boy, same age as Indie, had his first day in year 1 today. He had a brilliant time dressing up as a pirate and playing with all the other kids. Imagine having to sacrifice that so that you can go to wanky steak restaurants in Mexico with your dad.
Do the kids do any sports? Running seems like such a Joe thing to get them doing… what’s wrong with football, dance or swimming lessons?
They don’t seem to have any hobbies apart from Joes - so running and motorbikes.
hobbies and classes are great for kids but it would be so disruptive for the other kids in the class if they’re swanning off on holiday all the time. Plus Joe likes to think his kids are special so couldn’t handle them being average in a group.
Indie can cartwheel perfectly and both kids can swim really well so I very much suspect they both did kids clubs - but Joe doesn’t bloody show that does he! Just shows them being mini Joe Ws which is nonsense and rather false.
Indie briefly did ballet, I remember seeing her in a tutu. I would love to know the shape and form of the home schooling besides a few work books!
Work books, with a dusting of burpees throughout the day, home economics in 15, and then woooooo indie, give us a twirl (performing arts)
Joe is threatened by other men so everything he does is very individualistic and let's face it focused on appearance not health or any of the social benefits of group exercise.
Also he's the messiah and his way of parenting is perfect and he lives in an echo chamber so everything he does is correct. BOSH!
We're doing team sports with my daughter because both of us (me in adulthood as is typical for women) have seen huge benefits from team sports. I really hate ballet in particular, I think it's so toxic for little girls
i know exactly what you mean with this ..a relative of mine went to one of the English ballet company schools to board at 11 and when we saw them at family meet ups you could tell how controlled she had become with her eating within a few terms. It was quite worrying to see at a young and impressionable age
It’s so sad that Marley has to like running and beg his dad to take him in the night just so he can get positive attention and be shown some love from his own dad!!
Did you hear him ask indie what she asks for first thing, literally (yes he did use this) every morning? And Indie replies, ‘to watch the greatest showman’ and then he has to correct her by telling her THIS morning you asked to go for a run. Literally every morning she asks to go for a run? Well folks, Indie now has a motorbike. A pink one of course. Home schooling going well!
They've also befriended some (must be wealthy) folks who have huge fields in Surrey where they can ride the bloody bikes and ride the families horses.

Do you think he makes Indie watch The Greatest Showman every morning because, upon seeing the title, he’s convinced he must feature in it somewhere 
They don't use screens with their children, you know. Apart from every morning, when Indie watches a 2 hour long film as soon as she wakes up
You’d think he’d put them into activities with other kids. Kids need friends and to be able to socialise. Play is part of their development, not going on runs with their OCD dad. Very strange behaviour from holier than thou Joe.
