Hopefully brands will learn that using bloggers can have a serious negative impact on their brand
Someone that says they work in this area posted on one of the Grace threads. Seemingly brands don't do a deep dive on the bloggers they use, follower numbers are the main thing looked at. They don't seem to look at engagement rates so when they see Joanne has 30 comments on a post, they don't verify that 15 of them are Joanne replying to bots. It's bizarre to me. If they were using any other type of public figure/celebrity they would research how the person fits their brand but they don't with bloggers.I don't really understand how marketing managers arent aware of what Joanne is like? Irish brands at the very least. Their job is to be aware of what goes on on social media - how the feck hasn't she been blacklisted.
Delighted they seem to be taking it seriously. How many times have people reached out to brands only to be fobbed off. Let this be the end of the blogger era.Poor Joaquin is earning his money today in Emma Mattresses PR team
From the amount of time he's had to spend replying to complaints, I'd imagine that would be enough for them to not work with her againPoor Joaquin is earning his money today in Emma Mattresses PR team
Well I doubt the €370/€390 boots came out of her own pocket ON TOP of the fee she charged them so her mate can be “grateful” to Dubarry for sending her a freebiesure didn’t she say only a few days ago in reply to someone’s comment how ungrateful people are and she is under no obligation to give anything away she does it out of her kindness
Definitely not I’d imagine it’s part of the contract that the boot must be given away in competition form. Also I wonder who contacts who ? I reckon she contacts companies with a pitch saying send me A,B,C I’ll run a competition which boosts your engagement etcWell I doubt the €370/€390 boots came out of her own pocket ON TOP of the fee she charged them so her mate can be “grateful” to Dubarry for sending her a freebie
