She invested about 13K on a machine that someone recommended to her and she said it made them “tit out their tumour” - her words not mine. She’s a total clown
This must be what the coffee enemas are all about💩💩💩

I wonder where she got the nurses from to diagnose the "dry veins" and where she hopes to get a picc line from?

Im sure her local health centre would be delighted to oblige🤣

I actually really like the look of the tiny tortle hoodies but they’re £60!! I see they’ve still all sizes available after going live next last night. Her story absolutely breaks my heart but the level of greed is getting crazy.

What is the purpose of the coffee enenema
Gerson Therapy, look it up, not recommended and can be dangerous, popular in Mexico centres

It really is heartbreaking isnt it 💔

But I don't fully understand the constant asking for money and spending on designer things.

There have been scientific articles, journalist stories, posts and lawsuits related to these clinics for decades, even specifically Hope 4 Cancer Mexico and the unauthorised, unregulated & sometimes illegal treatments... People still go because they are desperate. You can't underestimate the power of the placebo effect so yes, patients may feel better but these holistic treatments are not scientifically proven.

The Bristol Cancer Centre got into a lot of trouble in the 90's trying to imply that many of these "holistic " treatments ( including coffee enemas) cured cancer
These type of centres prey on the sick and impressionable, many of whom have come to the end of conventional treatment
However , their "treatments " are not peer reviewed like the clinical trials in the mainstream medical community and are downright shady and run by charlatans who prey on people
I've worked in oncology for many years and my heart sinks when I see patients going down this futile route

Total and utter quackery. It’s dangerous and preying on vulnerable people. I’m a Nurse and horrified by some of the things she posts. The Irish Cancer Society and Cancer Research U.K. have a responsibility to call out these risky practices. Ultimately it’ll be the NHS who pick up the tab when things go wrong.

Complaining about her telephone appointment being 8.30 and it’s now 10.30. Why not phone the consultant’s secretary to find out what’s happening instead of making an instagram story?

It’s the NHS, things go wrong. God forbid the consultant is maybe caught up with an emergency and hasn’t got round to phoning you yet.

It must be a big shock to Jemma to find out she isn’t the most important person in the world to everyone. I find her whole slating of the NHS disgusting and shows the type of person she really is. With all the begging and pushing of the raffles I don’t find her one bit inspiring- I find her manipulative and selfish.

I agree. Plus doesn’t she consider for a second that perhaps nurses and doctors etc follow her? I understand she feels the NHS have let her down regarding a delayed diagnosis, but I feel her current criticism of it is unreasonable.

Doctors within the NHS practice EVIDENCE based medicine. Going on with a list of demands from private and/or holistic providers is offensive.

She spoke about zometa being available for breast cancer patients but not herself. Perhaps that’s because there’s no or limited evidence to support it?

The NHS is a finite resource, difficult decisions are made daily and just because she kicks up a fuss doesn’t mean she should be more entitled to a treatment than someone else.

I just don't think it's fair at all to complain about that, I've been at that Bridgewater suite and I know first hand how busy they are, they literally have people queued and rammed out the doors.

It's not her consultants fault, appointments are probably delayed left right and centre, I'm sure she'd bash and complain as well if she was in the waiting room waiting.

I feel no matter what would happen she would find some way to slate the NHS, gives her more reason to beg for money. How does everyone else do.

She also forgets to mention that the NHS is charging her nothing for all her care and medications and the ‘super’ doctors in London and Mexico she raves about wouldn’t even take her call without her providing a tit load of cash up front .

She’s also “so grateful” for the kindness of people willing to sell a jumper to raise money for her but slates the NHS who will inevitably be there to pick up any complications etc.

If the NHS is that bad why even attend your appointments at all?

The first thread that got closed down, she basically made out that was it and nothing else could be done, i now think she said it for more fundraising.
Funny how she spoke about tattle before when she was talked about in a positive light but wouldn't mention it now in case it sent her followers over to see what's really going on

She should be grateful they haven't just discharged her and forced her onto hospice care.
The NHS will be the ones providing that, not Mexico.
