I don't know what dog food costs now in the UK, but by my reckoning those tiny gold tins that Jack feeds Cooper + Content's food would cost about £20? Really makes you think 🤔
She has always fed cats that spenny food in the little gold tins. I’m sure years ago, like in the beginning, she was saying you can wash out the cat food tin and use it as a napkin ring and I was picturing a 400g tin of whiskas not the tiny 100g cat caviar that is gourmet gold
ETA I am a poor so have never really owned either napkins nor their rings. Also it’s the 21st Century they’re not a thing any more.

Harley Street nutritionist Lily Soutter”.

Uh oh. That will send Jack thermonuclear if she sees it.

Incoming rant on a high earner presuming everyone can afford to run a freezer and heat food or something.

ETA. Also going say her meal plan is 7 days but this one is only 5. Even though everyone has pasta, oats and other stock to make up the two days, like Jack does but the tune will be changed for this one.

Can’t wait for her to find “low” sugar dark chocolate for less than £1.50

(and that’s Lindt 85-90%…..when it’s on offer. Otherwise it’s £2-£2.40)

Boots no added sugar milk is £2 for 100g

I can easily find low sugar dark chocolate at under a quid a bar, but they all contain those sweeteners that give you a dodgy tummy if you eat more than a tiny amount. I don't wanna make her life easier by naming them, cause she won't warn people. And then they'll have to spend £2 on immodium making it more expensive than just buying nice chocolate to begin with.

As a person who has just woke up to her being an absolute ass wipe is this normal her being questioned about her lies so hard on twitter or a regular thing she usually annoyingly gets through?

I love malitol when I can't be arsed to steal suppositories from work 🤭🤫

Does the link to that meal plan in the article actually work for anyone? My computer's having none of it and I can't find it on the Aldi website.

ETA Oh wait I've got it, there's a bracket on the end of the url for some reason. Working link here for everyone.
I can't either now, I think it was something done in May but it features a lot in Australia. Nonetheless Aldi want nothing to do with Jack Monroe's abominable slop.

Okay, black forest brownies and lemon & raspberry ice cream do sound nice

*please don't kick me out of the canal*
They sound nice, but you just know they’ll have inexplicable ingredients. Like the brownies will be made with pickled beetroot (so she can use the vinegar for pink eggs) because she’s seen chocolate cake recipes using grated beetroot and the ice cream will be out of out of date jiff lemon squeezed into UHT milk with raspberry jelly cubes stirred through.

She made it and drained the sugar off. There’s no limit to her talents.
she rinsed the sugar out and is saving it for a different meal obviously! Frugal!

Prince Lumpy is diabetic and can’t have low carb, but he is on a flexible system so can eat what he likes within reason. His mum was also diabetic and on a different regime and had to carb count her meals.

I wonder which chef/cook/food industry professional is going to drop the hammer first and expose her on set antics?

No. On the very rare occasion it happened before Molly, there was an instant and generally very nasty pile on with smol pixie leading the pack

Jack seems to have disappeared from the list of Guardian contributors and columnists. I thought she was listed as a columnist before but maybe a Forensic Frau knows for sure

If anyone follows only scrans on Instagram he’s posted the proper rinsed hoops and cheese recipe — (I can’t remember the Italian ciao de pee pee or whatever it’s called and cba to find out) looks lush mind. 🍝

While anyone can call themselves a nutritionist- it’s not a protected title, unlike dietitian - Lily actually does have quite relevant Qualifications .

Unlike Jack with her 4.5 GCSEs.

Honestly, why would anyone hire her to advise on diabetic diets is beyond me. One of my closest friends is a specialist diabetic paediatric dietician so this bullshit really, really makes me angry. It’s bleeping dangerous

After the gruesome potential meal list JM tweeted earlier I am wondering what her next cook book may be called.
