God, she's absolutely on one today.
The word salad is awful, unethical etc. - all the things we've come to expect from her. I'm desperate to know what the ethics process has been/is going to be about other people's stories (obviously taken for granted that she's not expecting to actually have to think about ethics).

Your review is v reliable. People should read whatever they want and enjoy, especially fiction. There’s been some terrible snobbery on here about fiction.

I feel like so much of fiction-snobbery (in general, not specific to Tattle) is tied up with misogyny, too. What's marketed to/written for or by women gets looked down on so much.
We had some friends (yes, Jack, I have them) over for dinner earlier in the year and one of the husbands said he was appalled after finding out myself and another at the table had read the Bridgerton books.
The sex scenes were terrible and I hated most of the love interests, but they were delightful and I had a great time reading them. 10/10 would recommend for wiling away an afternoon on the sofa.
I also read through the Man Booker longlist every year and there are always books on that which I think are absolute bilge.

The arrogance of her to assume she has the talent, acumen or creativity to draft a crime novel. Unless the antagonist is a moaning D-List social media personality who rinses Patreon subscribers like beans for thousands a month despite offering literally nothing in return. In which case, that’s more memoir than fiction.
What is her obsession with lever arch files? If I were to pull together four lever arch files, all colour coded and Post-it noted to within in an inch of their lives which contain evidence that Jack is a lazy, entitled fraud who is getting some weird thrill out of the suffering of others would she finally duck off?
She's really lucky that bungalow's massive as by all accounts she must have about 3000 of the damned things. It's a pity her autistic brain can't comprehend the amount of space taken up.
If the book hasn't been written, how does she know the word count? How has it taken 3 years' worth of meticulous research to only write 2 pages? Why is all the research in eleventy million lever arch files, instead of filed electronically where is easy to notate and cross reference? Why can someone who writes for a living not take even minor criticism of their writing?
