As a bystander (?) the impression the news/economy gives is that food bank usage has changed significantly, even in the past 2 years of pandemic? So whilst 10 years ago you’d be a one off visitor (and wasn’t it capped back then too?) who’d fallen foul of horrible sanctions or UC delays or whatever, the problem is now the cost of living is impossible due to rent and utilities and low wages that food bank users are using them week in week out for help. Like on the news food bank workers are referring to their families eg a returning demographic, how they deliver weekly eg to the same houses. So does the same top tip re a box of luxury biscuits really apply anymore?

Of course teemill take a cut of the sale to cover their costs.
According to their price breakdown, a £44 hoodie like the ones Jack is selling will generate her £7 profit.

She is asking people to spend 44 pound on a hoodie with her name on it when the MAXIMUM she can give to charity from that sale is £7.

This is an episode of Blocked and Reported waiting to happen.

I hope Jack gets the tees done before she finishes grunking...
God. I would love Jesse and Katie to do their own Jack Files. 'It's complicated....'

She’s actually signed them omg. Her actual name.
I know she is as usual being tasteless beyond belief but I just can’t stop laughing. She is irredeemably stupid and yet she’s obviously feeling so pleased with herself. What’s that expression about playing chess with a pigeon? That.

It's like she's just deliberately trying to go lower. Instead of £44 to a foodbank, it's £36.50 to JM's vanity project (WTF putting your name on them) and £7.50 to the charity. Slowest of slow handclaps for everyone.

Is it just me or has she given this whole hare brained scheme literally half an hour's thought?
Those T shirts are fugly and tasteless. And expensive.

The fact they're signed really is absolute proof this is all just ego food for Jack isn't it.

No doubt champagne socialist twitter will continue to have their heads permanently implanted up her arse though.

Agree, food banks remain necessary but if Jack wanted to do something useful that offers a better (though still not full) solution she'd be talking up community larders which allow people to buy usually around £15 of food for £3-5. They aim to tackle food waste and provide a longer term solution than food banks are able to. The again, she can't really larp about how she collapsed with hunger and had to be fed like pigeon in a community larder as they weren't really a thing during The Poverty.

My husband taught for many years in the most deprived area in the country at the time which was in the north. These families experienced Dickensian poverty: seven kids on one urine drenched mattress, girls stealing toilet rolls to use as sanitary wear. He used to buy bags of shopping and had a box in his room where the students could take what they needed, be that personal products, stationery, or foodstuffs. Jack doesn't have a bleeping clue about poverty.
Unfortunately it is still like this. We have both in the past and Mrs T still does provide in this way. Sometimes my anger surrounding education and Jack’s behaviour gets the better of me because she has no idea that people live like this.

Same. I'm horrified and but also laughing with disbelief. Also how dated is that design? Forever stuck in her 2013 era and her penchant for Boy London is showing.
