There are a couple of things that make me think last nights posts (and the deleted tweets from the other day) is all a narc performance.

1. The way her language used when talking about a bad experience is so overly descriptive and dramatic. I’ve seen this from a 100% confirmed narc in real life and it’s just so manipulative. I sometimes think that since she’s a “writer“ that’s just how she writes, but, I don‘t know.

2. Like many others have said, the way she revels in the attention from it all. These kind of big announcements posts, relating to recovery and/or mental health… you rarely see them from people in real life (if that makes sense?).
Anytime someone I know has opened up about something THAT hard and personal on social media, the way they respond in comments to well-wishers is so different. It’s just a quick “thanks love” or whatever, because they are drained and emotionally exhausted.

The really sad thing is, if it wasn’t around the topic of alcoholism and recovery, that with all the feverish tweeting and ‘yes let’s do that!!’ enthusiasm I’d think she had been drinking.

Yes, staying up late into the night to ramble on and on about how she's definitely DEFINITELY over the hump (2 days after her long mental health breakdown threads) doesn't exactly scream successful recovery 🤷‍♀️

The silence really was golden.

I have to deal with a few narcs in my daily life and you are so right, they DO get worse the older they get. Christ.
This is an important point maybe, we all (well those like myself with no first-hand experience) imagine that the natural ending to an issue is that the one with the issue learns from their mistakes and ends up with something like a happy ending - to say, why can't they just see what the world sees and be honest with themselves? With narcs though this doesn't seem to be the case, they may not be capable. It's actually a bit shocking, and worthy of pity.

I still don't get this 100 days sober timeline? She was drinking in March then took next picture when 100 days sober, so approximately July? What since? She would have "celebrated" another milestone, 150 or 200 days, since then so why not bring it up to date?

Anyone recall a lady on Twitter that was critical in some way of Jack (can't recall exactly why), and she knew Jack irl. Jack then got nasty to her and publicly outed her as having issues with alcohol? Using her first name in that passive aggressive manner she does, iirc. So this new 12-step-Jack, we've got this, all kindness and gratitude doesn't wash. Wonder what Jack's #recoveryposse would think about that spiteful behaviour? 🤔

To think that I felt sorry for this sentient meat sack* over the last few days. I get sucked in every single time. She writes these long posts and I think 'God, I know how it feels to be so low and for life to be so hard, poor sentient meat sack'. But then the narc high comes and I cannot relate anymore at all. Everything she said before is bullshit. I mean, sure, I don't doubt she had a breakdown and was drinking and whatever else, but she has not learned one thing.

One of her strongest addictions is SM and attention. We've all said this a 1000 times. Ninnies, we were right.

*Jack's own words, m'Lord

As a timeline veteran I can tell you, it'll never add up. Never.

See wiki.

I think she's saying she was 100 days sober as of yesterday? She wanted to get some extra selfies in, which confused the matter.

Yesterday we discussed her stereotyping of lesbians, today it's addicts! The bleeping Trainspotting-esque before photo ffs, it really is a pity me narrative instead of 'anyone can be an addict, appearances matter not'.

There's a lot I want to say, she makes a mockery of everything in her weird narc quest to be the mostest ever.

But her behaviour suggests otherwise, and wasn’t there some boasting around kombucha time about her length of sobriety? And receiving a pin through the post? And wingeing about lack of meetings during lockdown?

So she was drinking in March whilst at the same time posting lies like this (why am I surprised?).

Me too. I'd feel awful if she's wangled her way in to some sort of support service for people. Places quite often look for peer support workers, and can you just imagine the damage she'd do to someone? 🙁 It can't be anything with a set sort of schedule anyway if she's able to just pop off to conferences and do her media appearances at the drop of a hat.
Don’t worry about that, don’t want to say too much as by nature of (a lack of lol) funding these roles are few and far between so it may be identifying but there’s very rigorous processes in place that ensure people only receive top quality care from bona fide people. There’s also the v obvious problem that Jack can’t stick at any job, especially one that doesn’t come with a free Groucho membership.

Speaking of which if she’s talking about restaurants in Soho she must be working in central… surely the train fares alone will be eating a lot of that 🥺low wage🥺

She says she fell off the wagon in both drinking and SM so she hadn’t been sober since March. Tricksy wording again.

“100 days of intensive therapy and I mean chair throwing, wall punching, let’s talk about the BIG bleeping FEELINGS stuff”

What is this about? Not the first mention of her intensive treatment therapy in Elevenerife, but this violent language seems so bizarre to me. I don’t think extreme emotional responses necessarily means the therapy is working. Glad you’re getting help, Jack, but put the chair down. Maybe buy a heavy bag.

did her alleged relapse happen around the time that she made libellous accusations about that teacher on twitter ? She uses mental health issues as a defence weapon whenever she fucks up imo

Ugh, I know we’ve moved on from her initial IG WMHD post but the line about her parents getting their kid back! She’s a grown arse woman and has been for years. Which kid did they get back exactly? “Gifted” “expelled” “resentful mumma didnt get tattoo” “resentful no purple Range Rover” “resentful of brother” - if I was her parents I’d be quite happy I wasn’t getting any of that kid back. Grow the duck up jack, start taking responsibility for yourself and your child.

Last night's performance just reeked to me of her seeking to disavow everything she's said or written over the course of the last year. She said as much, really, with that post about wanting to burn down everything and start again anew. Which is ironic considering she was also taking about step 4, a step she wants to sideswerve, clearly. With a relapse, she can say she was lying to herself and others because that's an integral part of the whole thing, and she can also accuse us retroactively of being 'cruel' simply because we were posting about what she was doing/saying during that period of time. It's always someone else's fault. Which is not the ideation of a recovering alcoholic, it's the ideation of a practising one.

There really is a need out there for a specialised Elevenerife therapy. Might set myself up as a wellness coach and make a paid access Facebook group to grift the hell out of it. Refer an Elevenerifer you know and get a £25 bonus when they join. Or some inspirational postcards. Or my alt mobile number for speed dial. Everyone else is doing it 🤷

On second thoughts I'm too BUSY so duck off x
