Of course! She'll throw a tantrum over any criticism which I'm sure she will make sure to over shadow any of the BAME retweeting, get sympathy from sheep over being "bullied", then her whole pathetic token genture will be forgotten about because the attention being taken away from her for 5 minutes will be too much to bear and she'll be back to promoting or whatever other bullshit she feels like 🙄
Yeah but I think she'd properly just make it worse for herself at this stage, people are getting more sensitive to white influencers trying to promote themselves through BLM - I think it would go down especially badly on twitter if she again tried to centre herself.

Ive just checked Alexis' IG stories. She has a really sweet message. Apparently she's had an unbelievably high number of brand new followers today and had loads of DMs giving her support and encouragement. I hope she hasn't had much flak from the minions, although something tells me she can deal with anything!!

You beat me to it!!!

I am not going to kneel tonight on one knee for this BLM. Simply because all people matter, green, blue or black. I never look at a POC of think of them as a POC. I see them as a person and a human.
And yet they're still systemically discriminated against (and murdered) because of the colour of their skin.

Yes they are and it is so so so wrong. I would just like to raise a glass and know that all lives matter, because they do.
They do, but black lives don't seem to matter to a lot of people, that's the point. White people can take it for granted that their lives matter, POC don't have that luxury.

To lighten the mood a bit. Fred and Barney my pussycats are black.
I mean this in the nicest of ways but are you drunk? This is incredibly uncomfortable and I can’t imagine why it would be said by someone wholly in control.

Can I just correct you for a moment. Black lives don't matter to a certain section of people, not to a lot of people.

Sorry? I have not meant to offend anyone at all and no I am not drunk at all. Sorry. I will delete this post immediately. It wasn't meant to cause anything.

It’s really offensive and purposefully reductive. There’s a loooot of media being pumped out around BLM at the moment but this google doc appears to be updated regularly and would be a good starting point:

I’m going to try and find some more resources, there’s been a lot of great stuff shared, I’m sorry I don’t have more headspace to write out articulate responses and thank you @Veronicaaa x

Its deeper than saying youre not personally racist. Its recognising that our society is built on racism. All lives wont matter until black lives matter.

I am so sorry you feel this way, really sorry for anyone if I have offended because that really isn't in my DNA. I feel hurt that from my previous posts anyone could actually think that I was anything other than genuine. I may have worded my post wrong and for that I am sorry.

I will now gracefully leave Tattle. Thank you all for everything. I wish you well.

By no means a comprehensive education but some of my favourite posts I’ve seen on insta. I’m sorry I can’t write more out but I’m melting on the sofa after my day.

On British racism:

A reading list:

On children & socialisation:

On structural racism:

Oh no, I hope you don't go. The "all lives matter" quote is being used too often and often without knowledge what its true meaning for BAME people is. The past posts showing the firefighting houses cartoon was useful in understanding why "all lives" isn't appropriate at this time. I dont think anyone wants you to go x

I’m not asking you to leave or hounding you out, I tried to approach this kindly and I’ve linked some bits above you might like. I am sorry if I’ve caused alarm or upset but I have genuinely tried to approach this from a kind place.

@Bellybutton lint I’m sure you meant no harm, but this is a great chance to learn and to listen and to educate for everyone. We should see colour. It exists. It affects. It’s lovely that you don’t discriminate, but POC need you to see their colour and acknowledge what it means for them every day. I think in doing that you do Poc a greater service than ‘not seeing.’ These are uncomfortable feelings to have, uncomfortable conversations to have - but essential. What speaks more to privilege than the comfort of not having to see discrimination or oppression? Please don’t leave, keep engaging x
