I think (opinion) that she will have contacted a lawyer to take it down. She was very set and suddenly 'had the time' to take it on as she had had enough. Now we are back to the 'im too busy but when im not!!' narrative. Suggests to me that any court case has been unfounded for now.

I missed the end of the last thread and most of this one as well, what have I missed out on?
I sometimes think these forays are a bit of a fishing exercise to see if people from here pile on to defend themselves (there is not one jot of proof that most criticism she gets directly is from here) - then she can legitimately cry 'harassment'.

Like I think it’s a bleeping cheek she’s implying BAME guests are endangered / at risk of abuse because of us, it actually makes me angry, but then I have to remember how she chooses to conduct herself in public versus how we do. I don't quite understand what 'buy stuff' means. Shopping for clothes/furniture/handbags from designers who are PoC? If I've misunderstood it, fine, I'm wrong - and it's obviously better than being #gifted or just saying 'this person is great, slide up to buy from them', but buying stuff isn't the same as 'making a donation to x fund', as you get something fancy out of it.

Agreed - she's actually doing something good after reading & learning and I hope that her audience are responsive to the messages shared by BAME content creators. Just one person learning one thing is a wonderful outcome so congrats!
I imagine someone at her publisher is scrambling around for BAME contacts as we speak though, I can't imagine the Groucho has been giving many of them free memberships and we've never seen her engaging with anyone who isn't old money on Twitter before......
