Um, try having a system/routine? I lose my keys constantly except when I actually hang them on the key rack in the house, or keep them in the correct jacket pocket (left for house keys, right for car keys). If I just dump them down, I may find them in the fridge or bathroom or wherever. I'm not the one who puts the bone in the bed though.
