Sorry if I’ve missed someone posting about it - Go Henry squiggle is unlocked now and tweeted applauding our efforts and receipts. Well done Cabal!
Well that's nice. Makes a change from being called a bunch of ninnies/sad little Fraus/mendacious arseholes/shady cabal of harassers doesn't it? 😂

Forgive me for not knowing how Twitter works exactly. How does she have 330k+ followers but merely get 1k or so likes on an average tweet? Have thousands and thousands of people muted her? Blocked her (or does that show as an unfollow?)? Her reach seems extremely minimal and I just can't imagine her books selling well at all due to this.

She is offensive, self-absorbed, a liar yet thinks she's a celebrity activist. How? 🤯🧐
Her books sales are pitiful - if i'm remembering correctly. There was a post not so long ago (can't remember at all in which thread) which gave a number that was well, so little as to make one wonder why she would even bother. And of course, the vast vast majority of those sales are the ones that she gave away sold by stealth, before being passed on to food banks. The funniest thing of all is that she still claims with a straight face to be a bestseller, but this is only true if you stretch your imagination beyond any real sense of decency to include the frankly bonkers sub-categories of book genres found on the amazon website.

Blocked shows as an unfollow, but yes, I'm sure loads of people will have muted her. There's also loads of 'dead' accounts, ie people who maybe signed up to twitter years ago but no longer use it or use a different account. Then there will be the hate-follows, which I think is silly if someone's account is generally public but Jack did lock hers a few times last year. But also I think there are certain accounts - and Jack's is one - which everyone followed at the start of twitter and don't want to unfollow out of misplaced loyalty or something. Another thing is we tend to forget that thousands of people won't be on twitter every hour of every day (like Jack is) - they might log in for a wee scroll for half an hour or so, but they won't clock all of the inconsistencies or even just the idiocy, because they take people at face value and will follow / retweet those who they *think* are politically similar (which includes identity politics). And of course Jack has claimed so many identities over the years that she'll have amassed people who follow her not for the recipes but for the fact she claims she's non binary / trans / a woman / poor / working class / a socialist / a recovering alcoholic / etc etc.

Just want to point out that there are tons of trans and non binary people who also took offence at her little thread yesterday, I don't want to screenshot them because I worry about pile-ons and suchlike and the ones I saw didn't quote tweet her or anything. But I think it's important to note that she's pissed off the very group she attempts to claim allegiance with, and who she seems to think she's 'helping' with her idiotic brain farts.

As an aside, I don't think I've ever seen the words "Daily Express thinkpiece" in that order before 😂
It's amazing how often she offends two seemingly opposed groups at the same time. Brexiters and Remainers, vegans and meat eaters, Corbyn lovers and Corbyn haters, and now this.

Could Jack's ill-thought-out tweets be the secret to world peace?

This is perfect, but I’m never not going to be shocked at just how few people tune into her Insta lives 😭 and yet brands still cruelly inflict them upon her!

I think the book sales stats turned out to be from a site with pretty innacurate figures, I remember at the time someone pointing out that only publishing insiders would know the true sales figures. I still think they don’t sell very well though.

AAAh, okay. Cheers for the heads up. But I agree with you, still can't imagine any great number of people actually paying hard earned money for the dross that the comes up with.

The low viewing figures on the insta lives is wonderful, it really demonstrates the gulf between high-follower twitter accounts and real-life popularity. Brands will twig soon enough (though I can't believe they haven't already).

She hasn't written anything in weeks of any great substance to even intice the blue ticks to chat. She's literally talked bollocks and attention seeked the whole time

5 mates!!! That’s bleeping desperate.
I hope our pineapple-begging friend wins.

Seriously, this is a little insight into the partnership with Jack, no? "Tag 5 friends" tells you that their community manager doesn't really get how competitions work, it's just too high a number! Plus no details about which book you'll win, how many prizes are available, etc. Not very competent at all...like attracts like, I suppose!

That looks like a different person the top right book cover, DIY SOS Jack :ROFLMAO:
I never thought of this before, but you're right, why on earth does she have a toolkit round her waist on the cover of a recipe book as though she's coming to fix your boiler or something 😂

It's a very builder man pose too. You really wouldn't think yummy food cook book looking at that cover!

To be fair, there's very little food on any of the covers.
