I know that feeling! Same thing happened to me when my oldest daughter was 18 months old. She slammed her head back into my face and my nose broke. My youngest daughter just bloodied my husband's nose the day before yesterday while she was playing and she is only 12 months old!

Yeah, that vlog where Abigail is just down right assaulting the big lady at some kind of ball game, is just disgusting in my opinion. He is just sitting there watching his wife get molly whopped and he dosent even try and stop it but once. (He just removed her hand from the big lady, that's it.) I'm sorry but, that type of behavior is grossly unacceptable and should have been dealt with long before that even! She, apparently, still attacks the big lady like that on occasion. While I don't like the big lady at all, I will say that nobody should have to worry about being assaulted like that for any reason. I don't give two shits what condition someone has or what the "reason" is for the behavior, it's NEVER acceptable to put your hands on anyone like that.
Just thinking of this but you remember the video they did when they hit 500k? Asa walks to kitchen island where Ab was sitting and P was doing whatever. They both got loud/fake excited and Ab lept up, ran as fast as she could down the stars to the corner of the couch. It really disturbed me how panicked she seemed. Nervous and scared. Like wtf do we not see when the cameras are off? What did she think was going to happen to her to make her go to a safe spot. Can look back see what I mean. Reminds me of an abused animal. Running to hid in a corner so it does get kicked or yelled at. Wondered if anyone noticed that moment or felt unsettled by it
Yes, we piss this "Ham" off alot. I know I do. Why dont they just grow a pair and comment, like you said? I don't particularly care that this person is getting pissed off but, I do think that it's sort of weak to just sit back in the cut and post angry face emojis and not even give an explanation as to why. I know am filling space here,but was wondering why neither P nor A have ever “sat in” for a day at Abbies school. As much as they proclaim how involved they are,why wouldnt they know how strenuous Abbies morning routine is?
I get they would have to stay quiet( hard for them) and maybe even be prohibited from filming. Thing is,in their position I would find knowing all the details about those 7 hrs she is in their( the schools) care. It’s an important part of her life. More so than any vlog, hand sanitizer,etc.
We hear so often about schools( and NOT knocking Abbies) that basically warehouse children such as Abbie. And while that is cruel,I also find fault w some of the parents for not being more present and doing due diligence. If parents showed up more often,asked to see what was what,maybe,just maybe,the system itself could be a bit better.

I completely agree with this....I still root for Abbie from time to time when she hits because part of me treats

It's like they're cavemen that just discovered fire every damn time she does something that's she's done so many times before that they only now noticed. Idk about P, but I have seen Asa there several times filming certain classes/therapy. Problem is when he is there Abbie doesnt focus...she just watches or tries to get to him, so I doubt they encourage parents hanging out often. The only thing I see P doing is decorating for their parties or running the parent groups. Shes more concerned about LOOKING like a good mom rather than being one.

They still complain and press the issue,, she breaks the Dynavox shortly after getting it and breaks atleast one of the several iPads that she had and they misplaced them before as well. Now you rarely see her use her iPad for communicating or otherwise.
- Yay, they got Abbie into a great private school, JSA, paid for by taxpayers and the Maass' can rejoice! NOPE, treats it like a low class daycare, drops her off late everyday, doesn't follow through with the school's"homework" and training, uses the school for vlog content, has no clue what she's doing at school.
- Autism on the Seas, Awesome! Let's take Abbie snorkelling, oh the peasants say that maybe she shouldn't go in the water! NO no no, let us educate and spread awareness to these peasants, WE are YouTube royalty, Abbie can swim.....then karma said...
Right..I've always question why they don't have her learn sign..just because they can understand the simple things..that's not what she's going to need in the public..my g son does sign.learned when he was very young and still learning in school and therapy as well as iam..it's much needed in todays world...but from the beginning they said that they not willing for her to take sign beaubecause to them she wont be using it because she'll always be around family and they understand her..

And there are ways to prevent a major distraction. Always a way. Or the school itself could have a vid on what they do to share w parents. still gets me. I wish we could have seen that. Not to humilate Abbie, but to see exactly what Asa did at the time, because when they got off the boat and Asa was trying to talk about it, you could see P had been crying and looked mortified. I've wondered if that was simply because of the poop...or also because of how Asa may have reacted to people who were there? Some people have weak stomachs...what if someone gagged or got sick? Did Asa then begin to bluster about "awareness and acceptance" and start ranting Abbie has a right to crap wherever she wants? I can see it happening....- Status
