Once Upon a Snark

Also, the menu dry erase board that's hung up on the side wall of the fridge in the video has been down for months. She has aprons hanging there for a while now. Also no Christmas decorations around and you know they didn't take them down before they left. This video is old.
Actually it looked like the tree had been taken down in the year in review video. Can you imagine if it had been left up? It was already dried out by Christmas Day.

Josh brought up a point that has always stuck out to me and I've mentioned it on here as well, that whenever Asshat and Princess P are addressing some serious topic or some criticism or the CPS thing, they can never look at the camera when they're talking. Asshat especially. He will always be looking off to the side, looking at P, then the wall, then the kitchen counter etc. Basically anywhere other than at the camera. He may glance at the camera for literally 1/4th of a second, but never direct or consistent eye contact.

This body language is EXTREMELY telling. There's the obvious thing that it shows they know that they've done something wrong. They're avoiding that connection because of guilt, shame and (especially in Asshat's case) being unwilling to admit to wrongdoing, avoiding admitting any fault. Owning up to it. Most importantly, taking accountability and making meaningful changes.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if the same thing happens if they mention the Dad Challenge video on the vlog. Shifty eyes galore.

Or (since we know you read here, Asa), prove us all wrong and actually hold eye contact with the camera when talking about serious things like this.

Which one will it be? ;)
I dunno if he us trying to intimidate or be a "big man" he was aggressively stare the camera down. Not because he us being honest but as a sign of anger and attempt to manipulate

In addiction, we call it "Inspiration Porn". Many people, especially the younger ones who are social media heavy, act as if the posting and reading of these "inspirational" or "empowering" quotes and memes shows they are working their recovery plan. Its like- I am not make changes to remove myself from bad situations, people or locations that trigger me, attending meetings- but look at how much I BELIEVE! Then they all feed off one and anothers quotes and statements, and when they relapse simply post different motivational pop/psych shit about starting over. It is like brainwashing!! (And yes, there is such thing as a Self-Fulfilling Prophecy-but this is not it!!)
This is the same in ED recovery too... it is far from helpful.

Edit.. I meant to post this one.. the tubing one is after she realizes she cannot ski

How big is this woman? Appears to be about the same as Piggy, but hard to tell. I’ve never seen the show.

For those of us non-US residents can you explain stimulus cheques. Thank you.
Universal credit, benefit, dole, pension, money paid by the government if you earn under a certain amount, or have lost your job, source of income due to Covid. The US is not a universal welfare state, like the UK and it’s commonwealth (like little old me in NZ, but I don’t qualify, as my partner gets the pension

Honestly I don't think P has any talent when it comes to cooking, and believe that the "pasta bar", and new year's food was catered. Come on three types of pasta and your stove only has 3 burners. You couldn't make all those things.
She just put it in her own dishes.

Her surgeon failed. He allowed her to have the surgery with no therapy or nuitrition education. He allowed her to think she could have coffee and other foods in moderation within a few months of surgery. If someone could lose weight by simply having the willpower to eat less and follow a diet, they would not need the surgery in the first place.
Interesting. How do you know the surgeon gave her those specific post-op allowances? Was that mentioned in a vlog?

This article clearly states that Duval County would not be paying for private schools which is why they probably ended up with the McKay scholarship.
At the point the lawsuit was started Abbie was 9 years old and had already attended 3 schools...so figure start school at 5, 3 schools in 4 years.
The saddest thing is everything listed about what the public schools "didn't" teach her, well guess what nothing's changed
Special needs kids start school at age 3. When they age out of birth to 3 years/early intervention. The district starts typically a half day pre-school with them till they are 5/6 and "ready" for Kindergarten. I've been through the whole thing having a child diagnosed with Autism at age 2. A lot of districts, the 3 different ones and 2 states, have the pre-school at a different location than a typical elementary. The one district did have the pre school in elementary schools, BUT they had 4 classes (2 half day class rooms) at one school for every 4 elementary schools there was. So my child was in an elementary school there but not our home/zoned school in the at district. The first district they were in was bouncing the special needs pre-school all over. My child was in 3 different buildings in 1.5 years we were in that district(half their first year, summer school, then regular year before we moved out of the city). They had said they moved into the rental house when Abbie was younger. So if she as in one school for pre-school. They moved and she was put into a different pre-school. Then put into the school she was in till they moved her to JSA it makes sense being in 3 schools from age 3 to 9 years old.

The only good clip of that review video was when they were falling down during hiking. If someone knows the name of the vlog can you please tell me what it is because I would love to revisit it. I was laughing hysterically on that one.

Happy New Year 🥳🦄

Appetizers are out at the Pig farm
This is a tick tock viral trend, and you put chips around a table then you put some kind of chopped meat, then you put melted cheese on top.

Asshat has repeatedly said that discipline (or at least, typical conventional discipline) doesn't work with Abbie because she doesn't understand it, doesn't get it, and will think it's funny. Thing is, he and Princess P don't do even modified discipline either. I believe in one video Asshat said that they best they can do is ignore it when she acts up and hope she gets bored of it. He brought up the whole reinforcing the behaviors thing, that if they stop and tell her no or don't do that, whatever... Abbie sees it as them engaging w. her and she enjoys it. You're right that A&P and Abbie would tremendously benefit from teaching her discipline. A&P are just shooting themselves in the foot by not doing it.
They probably don’t know how cuz they probably werent disciplined as kids or they’re not stern enough, and they’re too lazy they’d just rather let her get her way to shut her up,discipline needs to be taken seriously Andy it’s too much work so they’d rather not do it,the not understanding or getting it thing he likes to ramble on about is just an excuse not to do it
