And I don't get why they sent her back to school after pulling her out. On second thought, I guess I actually do get it because it's evident that they don't want to have to be her caretakers any more often than they're required to be. It's just wild to me that as two people who don't need to work regular full time jobs to keep food on the table, they'd rather pass their daughter off than be with her. It's sad, it's seriously sad.

There's one pretty fantastic unexpected consequence of Atha doing 20 minute videos: not only does he have massively increased stress from having to conjure up double the content as the last couple-few years, but it's exponentially harder now for him to maintain his narrative.

On top of that, with the Ruby Franke situation getting worse, there's currently a ton of mainstream negative attention on family vloggers. Some of those humpers - not all of them, of course, but some - will be following the Franke abuse case and that'll be enough for them to start looking at Asa & Priscilla more closely.

The Massives and Ruby have a few commonalities... they both exploit their children on social media for big money , they both attempt to "teach" others about some aspect of child care (so scary), both have a group of fans that believe them, think they are some type of experts, and think they are "learning" from them, both are more then likely much worse off camera then on..
I'm not saying the Massives are out and out abusive to the criminal extent like Ruby...but they most certainly have a lot of commonalities..and the HUMPS should be taking a much closer look at them... and be very careful about "learning" from them..or supporting them.

I follow (followed) a family vlog that has not been active for two years. The parent still answers YouTube comments though. I mentioned that I gave up hope for their return and asked for the reason they stopped. (She previously said there were many reasons). She basically answered me that there were too many reasons to mention, and no it wasn’t nasty comments. The bottom line was that it wasn’t fun anymore. She also said that they still discuss returning, but if they put out a video stating such, their viewers will assume they are vlogging again.
