P's waddle is so pronounced now. She just lumbers side to side. I keep waiting for her to just tip over.
And every time she gets near an animal she starts that crazy giggling, talking like a little girl- she thinks she is so cute.

Seeing Abbie slam her head against the seat was indeed alarming. I feel like she was acting out the feeling of being so goddamn’d bored that you want to slam your head against a wall. Glad Asshat didn’t let her continue doing it.

I feel so bad for Abbie on this stupid “vacation”. I know we’ve said it before, but it’s still true. There is NOTHING for her to do. Nothing aside from maybe watching youtube vids on her ipad. I guess A&P figure that’s enough. She needs some big stuffed toys to cuddle, she needs some fidget toys (not the clothespins on the basket thing), she needs some sensory stuff, maybe a chewy or two, she needs some activities geared towards HER along the trip! She needs her sensory needs met every day regardless, but even more so on this RV trip. I’d have liked for her to stay with the grandparents, too. But, the reality is Abbie requires a very significant amount of care. She’s a lot to handle, that’s asking a lot of two people who don’t usually take care of someone like Abbie.

They were making a Target run – grab some toys for Abbie! For crying out loud!

Oh, and Asshat blames Abbie for them not going to some of the tourist spots because she can only tolerate being in there for a maximum of 20 minutes. So work around it. You're Fathering Autism, right, genius?

My heart breaks for Abbie on this so-called holiday. Cooped up for hours on end in the back of that truck with two large slobbery dogs with no idea what is going on. Then decanted into that horrid caravan with no toys and nothing better to amuse herself than plastic bags and picking holes in the wall or rocking the chair. All the time with her hair in a mess and wearing the same clothes day in day out. The least those fat horrid Pigs could do is find a municipal swimming pool so she could have her version of a swim. Any leghumper who might be feeling a little weirded out by that enormous tray of alcohol while they're on a cross country roadtrip alone with their severely disabled daughter now has something to calm that voice in their head, and a framework for jumping on anyone who might say anything negative about the drinking.

It doesn't matter that he's liked cider in the past, that they've enjoyed cider in Boone....what matters is right now, in this moment, there's something to quiet that little voice of doubt.
